Hey everyone! I was at CVS a couple of days ago and happened to stumble across some new displays in the makeup aisles. I love new displays but the only thing that I dislike a bit is that all the new displays are in the front of the store. If you are a beauty blogger like me, then you would already know the reasons. LOL Since all the new displays are in front, people walking into the store and waiting in line to make their purchases would all see me taking pictures of all the makeup. I admit it is a bit akward to be seen taking pictures of makeup but eh, chances are those people are never going to see me again anyways. Even though they probably won't see me again, it still feels a bit wierd when you are they are staring at you and trying to figure out what you are doing. Let me know if this ever happens to you a lot.
Okay onto the new display that I am going to talk about in this post. One of the new displays that I recently saw was the L'Oreal Pastel Royalty Color Riche Balm Collection. I have never tried these lippies before but I have heard tons of great reviews on these. What I thought was interesting about these is that all of them are pastel shades. I have never seen blue or yellow based lip balms but I thought that these colors are great for the spring. I don't know if these actually give the intented tint that you see on the actual packaging but if you have tried these, please let me know. What do you think about these pastel balms?

The packaging is so cute but I wonder how they look on the lips. Kudos to you for going through the awkwardness to show us some pictures. I don't have the guts to do it, lol. Otherwise, I think if you go later at night when it's less busy, you may be less likely to run into people looking at you funny.
ReplyDeleteLOL The CVS store where I went to when I took these pictures is a 24hour one and its always busy thoughout the whole day. Whenever I go in the morning, afternoon or at night, there is always a long line for the register and that is near where they put all the new displays.
DeleteI've taken pics before and had people look at me funny. Sometimes I try to time it when people are looking away, but at the end of the day, I tell myself it really doesn't matter!

Haha, thats what I used to do to. I would always wait until they turn their heads in the other direction or walk away to take pictures but now its always such a hassle. I try not to care if people see me take pictures anymore.
DeleteI spotted these like a month ago and seen them all month and no one is really buying them in my area so I was tempted to just buy them and do a review have you heard any more about these?
ReplyDeleteNope, I haven't heard anything about these. LOL I think some people are a bit intimidated by some of the colors like the mint and yellow. If you do end up doing a review on these, please let me know because I would love to check it out!
