Big Lots 20% Off Haul

Hey everyone! In case you didn't know, two weeks Big Lots had a coupon where you could get 20% off your entire purchase. I always try to take advantage whenever they have this coupon because its a great time to get products that I have been wanting to try. Plus sometimes you can score better deals at Big Lots than at the drugstores. Also its a great time to get products that might have been recently discontinued. I did go a bit overboard with this sale but keep in mind, I went to two different Big Lots and you will soon see why I went to two.

What I bought:
Crest 3D White Advanced Vivid Toothpaste
This was originally $2.60 but I paid around $2 for it, which is such a great deal for a Crest 3D White toothpaste. I have been wanting to try this toothpaste for the longest but couldn't because of my braces. If you didn't know already, you are not supposed to use any whitening product when you have braces because after you take your braces off, you would get two different shades on your teeth. Since my dentist said that I am almost done with my braces (YAY!), I decided to finally get it!! Hopefully this wll work and whiten my teeth because we all love having white smiles.

Revlon Matte Suede Nail Polishes "933 Emerald City" and "507 Fire Fox"
These actually came in a pack of two for $2, meaning a dollar a polish. Revlon nail polishes are the main reason why I went to Big Lots because they usually carry a bunch of Revlon polishes. I was actually a bit disappointed because both of the Big Lots stores that I went to, they didn't have any Revlon polishes, except for this last one. I never tried any polishes from the Matte Suede lin before but I do love my mattes. Plus I remember seeing swatches of Emerald City once and I remember loving it so I am finally glad to have it in my collection.

London SOHO All Over Shadow Brushes (X2)
I actually have a couple of SOHO brushes that I bought a few months back on clearance at CVS and decided to get more. Since they weren't on clearance anymore at the CVS stores in my area, I decided to wait and am happy to see them at Big Lots. I don't know if they are going to stay at Big Lots or are just making a short appearance. These were $2.50 but with the 20% off, they were $2 a brush.

ELF Mineral Contour Brush
I never tried any of products from the Mineral line from ELF and am happy to finally try out a brush from the line. This was $2.50 but with the coupon, it was $2 plus tax. I haven't tried this brush yet but hopefully it doesn't shed. I bought this mainly for applying color onto my outer crease and/or into the crease of my lids.

Physicians Formula Healthy Wear SPF50 Pressed Bronzer "Tan"
I have been wanting to try out products from the Healthy Wear line ever since I saw a bunch of reviews on this line months ago. I heard that this line was getting discontinued so I was a bit sad to miss out on all the clearance deals but am happy to have found them at Big Lots. If you have been wanting to try out some products from the Healthy Wear line, then you should definitely check out your nearest Big Lots because they just started carrying them. So far, they have the pressed powder, pressed bronzer, and the tinted moisturizer. I don't know if they are going to start carrying more but definitely check out your store. I have tried this already and so far, I am really liking it. But be warned that these products do have expiration dates on them. I bought one at the first store that I went to and found out that it was already expired when I got home and opened it. Luckly I was able to exchange it at a different Big Lots and got one that expires next year. Hopefully I will be able to finish it before it expires. So if you are interested in buying any from this line, check the products for the expiration dates!! All products from this line are priced $4.00 each.

L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara "515 Black Brown"
I have just gotten into using lash primers and didn't want to splurge for a high-end one before trying out the drugstore ones. This mascara comes with a lash primer on one side and a regular mascara on the other end. Since I didn't want to splurge, I was excited to see this mascara for $3.50, which is a great price for a L'Oreal mascara. I haven't tried this yet but hopefully I will end up loving it since I haven't had the best luck with L'Oreal mascaras. I wish that they had different colors like Blackest Black but all they had was Black Brown. This mascara is supposed to give you the appearance of 60% longer lashes so we will see about that.

So that is all that I bought at Big Lots!! I did buy more but they weren't beauty related so I left them out of this post. But if you are curious, I bought some snacks like Nutter Butter. Ooh those cookies are so yummy!! If you love the real taste of Planter's peanuts and love peanut butter, then you should give those cookies a try. They are so yummy, especially when you have them with milk. I am not a big fan of milk. I don't know why but it just tastes weird to me. This is the only way that I would touch milk, that and cereal. Late Philosophy Haul At Big Lots

Hey everyone! Sorry if this haul post is late, like beyond late. LOL I have been meaning to post it but I wanted to get a couple of items and put them all together in a collective haul. I actually wanted to get the Shimmering Face Powder and the Illuminzer but none of the Big Lots in my area had them so these were all that I could get my hands on. There was also a couple of lip gloss duos but I didn't want any of those so I didn't get them. In case, you didn't know, Philosophy is currently selling Philosophy makeup for $3USD each. That is a great deal, especially for makeup and Philosophy lovers.

WHAT I BOUGHT:
➸ The Color of Grace Art of Blushing "Pink Dreams"
This little faux leather-like compact comes with three different pink shades surrounded by a white highlighter. You can use all three shades separately or blended together.

➸ The Supernatral Lit From Within Healthy Cream Blush "03 Look On The Bright Side"
This comes in a nice, small sleek black packaging. It comes with a nice mirror on one side and the cream blush on the other, like any other cream blush. I haven't tried this yet but I have read reviews on how this blush is very sheer. Its a gorgeous barbie pink.

➸ The Supernatural Windows To The Soul Eye Shadow Palette "Plum Delicious" and "Box of Truffles"
I haven't tried these yet but I think that they are great palettes to travel with. Each palette also comes with a shadow/liner brush. I got these two palettes because I thought that they would be great for everyday looks. I got Plum Delicious because purples complement brown eyes and I got Box of Truffles because I love neutral shades.

➸ The Supernatural You Make Me Blush Mineral Blush Duo "01 Hugs/Kisses"
The packaging on this is just like the cream blush but a little bit bigger. It comes with two blushes but I feel like one of the blush could actually be used as a bronzer instead. The other blush is a gorgeous muted pink but for some reason, it shows up different in the pictures. What I really like about this besides the two blushes is that the mirror is the same size as the actual compact, which makes it great for on-the-go touch ups.

➸ The Color of Grace Eyelighting Shadow Duo "01 Heaven/Earth"
The packaging on this is slightly different from the rest that I bought. Its actually a mirrored compact and its pretty small. This comes with two neutral shadows. It comes with a nice all over the lid shade and a pretty crease color. I have been using this for all of May and I really like it. Its even featured in my May 2012 Favorites post as well.

➸ The Color of Grace "Grace For Lips, Cheeks, and Eyes"
This little palette comes with two shadows, two lip glosses, illuminator, powder blush, and a shimmering face powder. The names of the shadows are Angel and Dream. Both are gorgeous neutral shades. Lip glosses are Be Sweet and In Love, different shades of pink. The all-over illuminator is 7th Heaven and its a cream illuminator. Pure Joy is the powder blush, which is a nice pink blush with gold shimmers. The shimmering Face Powder is Amazing Grace, which is a light pink with pink shimmers.

So that is all for my haul. Some of these products are products that I haven't tried yet but can't wait. All of these products were $3USD each plus tax! SPOTTED: Philosophy Makeup At Big Lots!! Say What Now?

Hey everyone! Guess what? I was just at a Big Lots not far from my area and spotted some Philosophy makeup!! If you didn’t know, Philosophy is now currently being sold at Big Lots. Everything is being priced for $3USD each, which is crazy insane! This is definitely a great deal because if you didn’t know, Philosophy is a high-end brand that is highly known for their skin care products, fragrances, and their bath & body products. I didn’t even know that Philosophy even had makeup but apparently, a couple of years ago, they used to sell makeup products. I don’t know why they stop selling makeup but now they are showing up at Big Lots, which is fine by me. LOL

To tell you the truth, I didn’t even know that Big Lots was currently carrying Philosophy makeup until NouveauCheap posted about it. She also posted about other products as well but my Big Lots store didn’t carry everything. I even went to two Big Lots but the first one that I went to only carried three different products. The second one that I went to was almost like hitting the jackpot, although it didn’t have all the products that I was hoping for. I also took pictures of all the products that my Big Lots carried, so you can know what to look for if you decide to go check out Big Lots.

The first store I went to didn’t even know what I was talking about when I asked where the Philosophy makeup was. The employee told me that if they bought in any new makeup, it would be in the makeup aisle (which it wasn’t). I got tired to telling her that I heard that some Big Lots stores were putting them in random places around the store but she wouldn’t listen and told me to go to the makeup aisles. I got irritated and was about to leave when I spotted a small little end cap at the front of the store. I don’t know how I missed it. LOL It was probably because the boxes were so small. The second Big Lots that I went to was a better experience because they had all the Philosophy makeup in the makeup aisle. Plus they had way more than the one by my house! Check out the pictures that I took so you would know what to look for. Plus when you go and its not placed with the makeup, you can show an employee some of my pictures and hopefully, they will recognize the products and remember where they placed the items in the store.

In case you didn’t know, NouveauCheap also posted a master list (which I will post here) of all the products that people have been spotting at their Big Lots. I was hoping that I was going to see some more products because there was a couple that I wanted but couldn’t find. For instance, I was hoping to get the Divine Illumination Love At First Light Ageless Skin Luminizer, Shimmering Face Powder, and the Blush Duo in Sunny & Bright but the store that I went to didn’t have them. Although my store didn’t carry the blush duo in Sunny & Bright, they did carry the blush duo in Hugs & Kisses.

Big Lots Haul

Hey everyone! I have been meaning to put up this haul for a whie now but with all the good clearance deals at Target, I held this off because I wanted to share with everyone the great deals that I got on the clearanced makeup so you would be able to go out and get some for yourself before they were all gone. As you can see from the pictures, I bought this probably a week after Valentine's Day and we are already into March. LOL I am really late on this and I just noticed. But oh well. its Big Lots and they never really have sales on makeup. Their prices are always the sale, unless they are offering a 20% off coupon, which is rare these days.

Okay onto my haul and enough with my babble. I didn't really spend that much on this haul because most of the items were already on clearance. The things that were clearanced were the Valentine's Day items. I got such a great deal on everything! Yay because you know that I love saving! :D

What I bought:
REVLON NAIL POLISHES
I bought four of these or two packs of two. I love it when my Big Lots has Revlon nail polishes. Big Lots is the best place to nail Revlon nail polishes because its so inexpensive there. The majority of my nail polish collection is Revlon so I am glad that Big Lots sells them sometimes. I love the colors that I was lucky to find. I was there for what felt like a long time, going through all the Revlon packs to find the prettiest colors. I bought mostly Spring colors, which I am totaly loving right now. The colors that I bought are Gold Rush, Luxe Laque, Wind Fall and Modern Grace. All three except for Gold Rush are Spring inspired and I am so glad to finally have shades like these in my collection! Yay!

VALENTINE'S DAY THREE HEARTS DECORATION HANGER
I thought this was so cute and perfect to hang outside by the front door for next year. Plus it was only $0.25USD plus tax! It was originally $3USD plus tax but it was on clearance! It was the last one there and you know that I had to grab it! LOL Right now, its just hanging in my room. Its made out of that felt material, so its not heavy. The three hearts are just so cute!

PEANUT BUTTER FILLED CHOCOLATE HEART
This was originally $1USD but I bought it for, I think $0.15USD. I am not sure but I remember it was super cheap. I just love peanut butter with chocolate and this was also the last one left. I have eaten this one yet but I am sure that its going to be super delicious. Plus its in the shape of a heart, what more can I say? Hmm...

CARAMEL FILLED CHOCOLATE HEARTS
This was on clearance for less than a dollar. Sorry that I can't remember the exact price, I think it was probably a quarter but I can't be sure. Oh well, its not like its there anymore so its not like you guys need to know the exact price. LOL These are so yummy. We already ate them all. I love caramel filled chocolates. They are also the best next to peanut butter chocolates. I wish I had bought more than one container but am actually a little glad that I didn't buy more because I am breaking out after eating these. I have never had so many pimples on my face in my life. LOL
