Mini Target Haul

Hey everyone! Yes, I went back to Target again. I think I have gone there so many times these past weeks. I love going to Target but usually I aways feel lightheaded whenever I walk into there, which is weird since that has never happened to me before. I hope that doesn't mean anything bad. Last time I went to Target, I felt like the whole store was spinning so I had sit down. I wasn't feeling well so I left everything in my shopping cart in the middle of the aisle and left the store to sit in my car before I felt fine enough to drive home. It was such a scary feeling since I never had anything like that happen to me before. The whole time I was driving home, I did regret not buying everything I had in cart but I knew that I wasn't about to go back to the store and buy it since I was worried that the lightheaded feeling would come back and make it worse. I think that was one of the very few times where I have gone to Target and walked out empty-handed.

Anyways, this haul is more recent and was a week after what happened. I didn't buy much since I mainly went to see if they still had what I wanted to buy last time but nope. I should have known since they were on clearance and clearance items go fast. I was lucky enough to find three things that I really liked on clearance in the beauty aisles. Two of the items that I found were these CoverGirl Exact Eyelights Eye Brightening Shadow Palettes. The first one that I bought is in the shade 715 Majestic Hazels since it is considered as a palette for people with hazel eyes. I don't have hazel eyes but I bought it anyways since makeup follows no rules. LOL

The next one that I bought is for blue eyes and its called 710 Radiant Blues. I don't have blue eyes either (no matter how hard I wish for them LOL) but I mainly bought it for the blue shadow. I haven't tried these yet but hopefully these are as good as their regular trios and quads. Let me know if you guys have ever tried these and what you guys think about these palettes. Plus each palette comes with its own mini eye shadow brush, which is nice.

The last thing that I bought is this Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Calming Night Cream for sensitive skin. I don't have sensitive skin but I was running out of my night cream so I thought I could give this a try. Plus it was on clearance for $1.76 plus tax!! How can you say no to that price for a well known drugstore skincare brand? I think the regular price for this is somewhere around $10-$13, depending on the store. I was actually worried that someone had already opened it to test it out since the price was so low and was priced "As Is" but nope, it was brand new. The outside packaging was just a little beat up around the corners. Score!

So those are all the products that I bought on my little Target shopping trip! I am so happy with all the deals that I found since I did end up saving a lot of money, especially since I had a $4 off 2 CoverGirl eye products so I only ended up paying a little over a dollar for both palettes total!! Man I love coupons and sales! LOL Anyways, if you have any questions, definitely leave a comment below and I will try my best to answer them! Thanks for reading and hopefully you guys liked this haul.

Mini Lipstick Haul

Hey everyone! Finally its been a long time since my last haul. I have been trying not to haul so much unless I have rewards expiring or if there is a really good sale that I can combine with coupons. You know me and my coupons! I try not to pay full price for anything unless I have to or if its a gift for someone else. Anyways, I had some ECBs expiring at CVS so I knew that I had to go and use them. I didn't even know what I wanted since the CVS store that I went to didn't have any new products in yet so I had to figure what to buy from the permanent displays. I wanted something makeup and since I wanted the most out of my ECBs, I decided to look at the Wet N Wild permanent display.

I have really been loving the lipstick that I have, which is the Wet N Wild MegaLast lipstick in Coral-ine so I knew that I wanted to buy more. Sorry for the weird swatch picture of Coral-ine, it is night time right now while I am typing this post up so taking swatch pictures right now isn't the best since the lighting now sucks. I just took the pictures from my recent Favorites post and edited the pictures a bit. LOL Anyways, while I was at the store, I wish I had looked at swatches online prior to buying since I was standing there, in front of the display, for what felt like a hour trying to figure out which shade would be pretty when worn. LOL I am sure you all have felt the same way as well and have gone through this situation before, maybe even multiple times.

There are so many pretty shades in the Wet N Wild MegaLast lipsticks line but I decided to control myself and only buy three (for now). I decided to pick from a range of shades so that way I could get the feel of these lipsticks better. Since I already had a reddish shade in my collection from this line, I knew that I wanted to get a hot pink, baby pink, and a neutral nude. The shades that I decided to buy were:
◊ 905D Smokin' Hot Pink
◊ 901B Think Pink
◊ 902C Bare It All

Those are the only three that I bought but I am pretty sure that I will end up buying more from this line. Who knows, maybe someday, I will be able to get my hands on all the shades and have them all in my collection to try out and swatch for you guys! I will end up posting a swatch of these lipsticks soon but right now, I want to post up all my hauls first. LOL Hopefully you guys won't get mad seeing a bunch of haul posts one after the other. Anyways, I hope you guys liked my haul and thanks for reading my post! Definitely let me know if you have ever tried this line of lipsticks before.

One Direction Teams Up With MUA Cosmetics

Hey everyone! I usually don't do these types of posts unless I like to have the actual picture myself but since I don't know any store in my area that sells MUA Cosmetics, I am just going to borrow a picture. I will have the source link (CLICK HERE) in case you guys want to read more about it but I am going to try to include as much as I know in my post. Anyways, I just wanted to announce (in case there are any One Direction fans out there reading this) that One Direction will be releasing their own makeup line with MUA Cosmetics. So if you love One Direction, you should definitely keep an eye out for this line. I don't know if its a limited edition line but if I find out more, I will update this post.

Their makeup line will be called "Little Things Collection" and will include blushes, nail polishes, lipsticks and lip polishes (which I am assuming are lip glosses). There will be 5 shades of each product, one for each One Direction member. The collection will also include Kiss You lipsticks. The shade names are:
◊ I Want
◊ Moments
◊ Be Mine
◊ Rock Me
◊ I Wish

For me, the lipsticks would probably be the best sellers (in my opinion). The whole concept of the lipsticks, packaging-wise reminds me a bit of limited editions of MAC lipsticks. The reason being is that each lipstick will be name after each member of the group. Plus each lipstick tube will have the signature of one member (whomever the lipstick is named after) on the lipstick tube. You can actually see a sneak peek at the lipsticks in the first picture of this post. The lipstick shades are:
◊ Niall Loves Cherry
◊ Zayn Loves Watermelon
◊ Liam Loves Blueberry
◊ Louis Loves Vanilla
◊ Harry Loves Strawberry

What do you guys think about this new makeup line from MUA Cosmetics with One Direction? Oh yeah, in case I didn't mention it yet, the new makeup line will be released in stores and online on July 31, 2013. If you are interested in this line, I highly suggest you hit up your stores or buy them online since I am not sure if this is a permanent line from MUA Cosmetics. Let me know what you guys think and I would also love to know if you guys plan on getting anything. I do wish I had more information for you guys but I will try to update this post once I find out more about this line and its products. I probably won't be buying anything from Little Things Collection since MUA Cosmetics isn't easy to find in my area but I heard that MUA Cosmetics is a pretty good line!

QUESTIONS:
Do you guys love One Direction?
Have you ever tried MUA Cosmetics before?
Don't you guys think the lipsticks resemble a bit like MAC limited lipsticks?

My Late Favorites 2013

Hey everyone! Sorry for these late favorites. I don't know why these just slipped my mind. Usually I am a few days late with my favorites post but I am never this much late. I have been so busy lately and with all my spotted posts that I have been trying to get up, I guess I just put my favorites posts on my back burner and just forgot about it. I wasn't sure if I was even going to be posting this favorites up but since I already took the pictures and edited them, I am definitely going to be sure to use them otherwise it would have been a waste of time. I am not going to be naming this favorites my June Favorites but these are actually my May 2013 Favorites. I think I am just going to skip my June Favorites or maybe combine them with my July Favorites. Let me know what you guys think. Would you guys still want me to do my June 2013 Favorites or just skip or combine it with my July 2013 Favorites post? Definitely let me know by commenting below!

FOUNDATIONS & CONCEALERS:
Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Foundation "150 Classic Ivory" & "255 Natural Buff"
I have really been liking this foundation, especially with the Beauty Blender. I actually bought two because one was way too light for me so I bought one a bit darker to mix together to get my actual skin tone color. I like wearing this foundation but not during those hot days because it will definitely not stay on that long, especially for those with oily skin.
The Original Beauty Blender
I love this and now definitely see what all the hype is all about! If you haven't tried this, definitely go out and get one (or two) for yourself. I have tried dupes in the past and the original is definitely where its all at. Its so soft and applies foundation on like a dream. I love using this with my Revlon ColorStay Whipped foundation and with my Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse foundation as well. I just wish that it didn't stain so quickly with foundation.
Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer "Light"
This is unfortunately my last back-up. I wish that Maybelline didn't discontinue this concealer because I love it for my under eye areas. It just brightens up my under ere area and makes me look more awake on those tired days where I just want to go back to sleep.

BLUSHES:
Maybelline ExpertWear Blush "20 Pinch O' Pink
I love blushes and if its a pink blush, I am going to love it more. This is actually one of my favorite pink shades and actually my second repurchase of this blush.
Philosophy The Color Of Grace "Beauty Is Art"
This is a light pink blush. Its actually blush with a highlighter or luminizer surrounding the pink blush but what I like to do is just use my brush and swirl it all around the compact. It just gives my cheeks this perfect pink shade and I always get compliments whenever I wear this blush.
NYC Blushable Creme Stick "645U Big Apple Blush"
I don't really use creme blushes that often but if I had to chose only one creme blush from my entire collection, this one would be it. Its the most pigmented creme blush in my entire collection, that I have tried so far. I love using this underneath my powder blushes to give my blushes that extra staying power. I am sad to say that these NYC blushable creme sticks are discontinued but I have heard that some have been spotting them off and on at the Dollar Tree.

EYES:
Revlon ColorStay Brow Enhancer "Light Brown"
I bought this at CVS from their clearance sale. There was only this shade and a blonde shade. Although this is a bit light for my brows, I love the concept of this and how easy it is to apply onto the brows. I would definitely love it more if they had a dark brown. Light Brown does have a bit of a red undertone to it so its not the perfect color for me but it does last all day on my brows.
Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Felt-Tip Eyeliner + Serum "Deep Brown"
I love this eyeliner and use it pretty much everyday. I don't really like using black eyeliner that much (unless I am wearing false lashes) but for everyday, natural eye looks I love this. I am still a liquid eyeliner beginner so this felt-tip applicator is great and easy for me to use. I don't know if it really helps my lashes grow but they do look a teeny bit longer when I have this eyeliner on.
Physicians Formula Eye Shadow Matte Collection "Canyon Classics"
This is one of my favorite quads. It contains all matte shadows. I have a review with swatches already so I am not going to go into detail about this. LOL If you want to see my review with swatches, please click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2012/08/reviewswatches-physicians-formula-matte.html
Revlon ColorStay Eye Shadow Quad "505 Decadent"
I remember when I first got this and didn't really like it but now this quad has been growing on me. Its not the most pigmented quad that I have tried but the reason why I have been liking this is because I like using it for creating soft neutral eye looks. Plus I think once you get past the top layer, the eye shadows are more soft to the touch and more pigmented. I just love the two shadows on the left because they are great all over the lid colors.

LIPS:
Nivea Lip Butter "Raspberry Rose Kiss"
This was actually my first lip butter and as you can see, I am almost done with it. Time for me to buy some more! LOL This just smells so good and is very moisturizing on the lips. I also have a review on this, if you want to check it out, you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/02/review-swatches-nivea-lip-butter.html
Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Tint "Perky"
This is actually my favorite shade out of all the Tarte jumbo lip pencils that I own. Its just a natural pink shade. I like the smell of these and the minty feeling that it gives my lips whenever I apply it. This is a great pink that goes with pretty much any eye look and is great for any day. Its very pigmented and isn't drying on the lips.
Wet N Wild MegaLast Lipstick "909D Coral-ine"
This was actually my first Wet N Wild MegaLast lipstick and because of it, I have already bought about 4-5 more from this line. I was never a fan of matte lipsticks because they are always so drying on my lips and I am a person who needs to apply lip balm every couple of hours. This is a matte that isn't drying on the lips and I love how long it lasts on my lips as well. If you are looking for a drugstore matte lipstick that isn't too drying, you should definitely give this line a try!

So that is all for my May 2013 favorites!! Like I said earlier, I am sorry that I am posting this up so late since it is already July 2013 but I wanted to get it up anyways since I had already edited the pictures and watermarked them. LOL Hopefully it was still helpful and I will try not to let this happen again. If you have any questions about any of these products, definitely leave a comment below and I will definitely try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. Plus don't forget to check out my YouTube channel. I only have 2 videos right now but hopefully I will have some time to be able to post more since I had a fun time filming my second video because I was more comfortable. Also if you have any ideas on what my next video should be, leave a comment below as well. Thanks for reading!

Spotted: Rimmel Exaggerated Glam (New Products)

Hey everyone! For some reason, I thought I had already posted up this spotted post on my blog last week but I noticed that the pictures were still on my computer so I did a search on my blog and this didn't pop up so I figure that I might as well post it up now. LOL Anyways onto my post: It seems like almost every drugstore makeup brand has been coming up with their own eye shadow primer. The last makeup brand from the drugstore that recently came out with their own eye shadow primer was the Wet N Wild Fergie line or was it Milani with theirs? LOL I can't remember which one came out recently. Anyways not Rimmel has their own primer and it claims to prevent creasing and intensifies the color of the shadows. There is even a picture on the packaging that shows you how shadows look without their primer and how the shadows look when used with the Rimmel Exaggerate Primer. The primer is $4.99 but prices might vary by stores.

Rimmel also came out with some new shadow quads! There are five different quads in this display and they all look like they contain pretty shades. These look like they would be great for creating any eye looks ranging from soft to smokey eye looks. I don't own many Rimmel shadows. I think I own about three Rimmel shadows and two of them are from the old packaging. Let me know if you have tried these before.

Have you seen this new Rimmel display yet?

Spotted: Nicole By OPI Disney Tink Attitude With Color Collection

Hey everyone! How cute is this collection? If you are a huge fan of Disney and especially Tinkerbell, you definitely need to check out this collection! It is the Nicole By OPI Disney Tink Attitude With Color collection! I actually spotted this collection at a Walgreens a bit further away from my house because that Walgreens is always super fast with new products yet the one down from my house is so slow that I haven't even spotted this collection there yet. Anyways, I remember when I saw this collection, I was so excited because I remember loving Tinkerbell when I was a little kid. Let me know if you were the same as well. This collection comes with 6 new shades:

  • Hallf Charming/Half Alarming
  • Sweet on Pete
  • Tink's In The Pink
  • Fairy Fairy Quite Contrary
  • How Fairy Nice Of You!
  • Pixie Glitter

I love the shades in the collection because they remind me of the colors that fairies would like. LOL I don't know maybe I am just weird. Haha! Please let me know if you guys have seen this collection at your stores yet and whether you guys picked any up. I would love to know what shades interest you guys.

Spotted: Sonia Kashuk Sets On Clearance At Target

Hey everyone! I was just recently at Target buying some clothes when I suddenly noticed that I was in the beauty aisles for some reason. LOL I figured that while I was there, I might as well see if there was anything good on clearance. I didn't end up finding much but I did find some Sonia Kashuk sets on clearance. If you guys didn't know, Sonia Kashuk tends to come out with a lot of new limited edition sets and they usually go on clearance every now and then, especially when they don't sell off the shelves.

Anyways, I spotted a couple of sets but only took pictures of the two that I was most interested in. The two sets that caught my eyes were these two sets:
◊ Sonia Kashuk Moroccan Dunes Eye Shadow Palette (Was 15.99 Now $8.48)
◊ Sonia Kashuk A Kiss On The Cheek Lip & Cheek Palette (Was $14.99 Now $7.48)

I was going to buy them right when I saw them but I figured that I could wait a week or two since if the Target store still has them then the prices will go down even lower! I can't say no to deals, especially if they are really good money savers. Plus I figured that if they are all sold out then it just wasn't meant to be for me to bring them home. LOL I wouldn't really be missing out anyway since I already have enough makeup in my collection to last me over a lifetime but I actually wouldn't mind adding these two sets. Haha! Let me know what you guys think?

Are you a fan of Sonia Kashuk sets?

Spotted: OPI, China Glaze, Essie, Julie G Polishes $1 & UP

Hey everyone! Oh my goodness! Let me just tell you that when I found out about this sale, I was so flipping excited and knew that I had to run to the store to see what they had. If you didn't know, a lot of people were spotting a bunch of high end nail polishes at their local Big Lots store. They were spotting China Glaze, Essie, OPI, Julie G, Revlon, L'Oreal, and other nail polish brands for under $2 plus tax. Some stores were selling them for $1 but mines were selling them for $1.80 and up. I guess it just depends on the area that your Big Lots store is in or maybe it depends on the manager of the store.

Anyways while I was there, I was kind of bummed out with the selection at my Big Lots store. All they had were crackle polishes but I have seen other people haul regular polishes like creme finishes and glitters. I am a bit jealous that some even hauled new collections for only $1 plus tax for Essie, China Glaze, and OPI nail polishes! If you have a Big Lots in your area, I highly suggest you go and check it out before all the good polishes are gone. Plus if you guys do take advantage of this sale, definitely let me know what polishes did you find at your Big Lots!

Are you going to check out your Big Lots!

Spotted: Nicole By OPI Neons Collection (New)

Hey everyone! I had some time today and decided to stop by a CVS store. I mainly wanted to see if they had brought out the new Wet N Wild trios that I have been seeing all over the internet. No such luck but I am going to try again in a few days. Plus I am sure that my Walgreens will be the first store in my area to bring out the display since they are usually fast with new products. If you have tried the new trios, let me know how you are liking them and which ones did you buy already.

Anyways, while I was shopping at my CVS store, I noticed a new display. It was the Nicole By OPI Neons Collection. This collection includes two sets. Each set includes one white polish and three neon polishes. The white polishes are supposed to be a base for the neon polish because it makes the neon polish more vibrant. I don't know the name of the sets but both sets contain very pretty shades. If you have tried these before or have seen these sets, please let me know. On the display, there was also a couple of Nicole By OPI Top Coat Plus.

If you have tried that top coat before, please let me know how you like it and how it would compare to the Seche Vite Top Coat.

Have you seen this new display yet?

Spotted: L'Oreal Colour Riche Made For Me Pinks Collection (New Shades)

Hey everyone! L'Oreal has done it again with their new displays. They recently released new shades for their Colour Riche nail polishes. I love how recently, L'Oreal has been releasing collections with all pink shades! In case, you guys didn't know, pink is my favorite color. Typical girl. Haha! I am definitely in love with all these new shades and wish I could own them all. If you are a fan of pink nail polishes, you should definitely check out this collection because I am sure that you will love them. There are 6 new shades in this collection and they are all gorgeous!

There are also 3 new L'Oreal Colour Riche Nail Lingerie, well that I know of. I think that these are new but if not, please comment below to let me know! I haven't tried these yet but I heard that they are really easy to use and great to put over polish. I have been seeing a lot of people use the glitter ones to give their nails a glitter gradient look to their manicures.

If you have tried any of these before, please let me know how you like them. I have to admit that the pink polishes are gorgeous and are definitely on my list to buy. I know that if they go on sale for a really great deal, I would probably end up going crazy and buy all the shades in the collection. LOL I would probably end up doing the same with their new lip glosses and new lipsticks shades as well, which all fall into the pink shade range.

QUESTIONS:
Have you seen this new display from L'Oreal yet?
Do you like L'Oreal Colour Riche nail polishes?

Spotted: Maybelline FitMe Shine Free Foundation, New Blush Shades & New 24 Hour Pure Pigments

Hey everyone! If you guys didn't know, Maybelline has finally released a new foundation for their FitMe line. I am surprised that they came out with this product since its been a while since any drugstore brand came out with a stick foundation. It is the Maybelline FitMe Shine Free Foundation. This is a gel stick foundation that claims to keep you shine free throughout the day because of their anti-shine core. If you can tell from the picture, there is an inner core in the middle, which is white. That inner core claims to be the powder core which is what keeps you from being shiny while the outer core is the gel foundation. I haven't tried this yet but not sure if I am going to anytime soon unless its on sale since I am not familiar with stick foundations. If you have tried this before, please let me know how you like it.

They also came out with some new blush shades as well but for some reason, I can't remember if I took a picture of the blushes. I tried looking everywhere for that picture on my phone and etc. but can not find it for the life of me. LOL Either I accidentally deleted it or I just never took it in the first place. I do however have the names for the new shades. If I do end up going back to that store, I will try to remember to take some pictures of the blushes and make an announcement that I updated this post with the pictures! The names for the new shades are:
◊ Light Rose
◊ Medium Coral
◊ Deep Coral
◊ Deep Rose

Also another interesting new product from Maybelline is the Maybelline 24HR Pure Pigments! There are 12 new shades and I have to admit all of them are gorgeous! I heard that these are actually good quality but keep in mind, that they are pigments so they can get messy. I haven't tried these yet but I am assuming that people are going to be loving these as much as they love the Maybelline Color Tattoos.  I am definitely in love with the shade range that they have. They have colors great for the summer with the bold colors and some neutrals for all year around. I especially love the blue and most of the neutrals. If you have tried these already, please let me know how much you are loving them.

Definitely comment below if you have tried any of these products yet and how much you are loving them. I am not sure if you guys noticed in my pictures but I actually went to two different stores to take these pictures because my CVS store had those ugly security stickers all over the products, which makes it hard to see the colors and the actual product so I had to go to a Walgreens since they don't go all sticker crazy like CVS does.

QUESTIONS:
Have you tried the new FitMe Shine Free foundation yet?
Have you tried the new blush shades for the FitMe line?
Have you tried the new 24HR Pure Pigments yet?
