Spotted: Revlon Age Defying CC Cream

Hey everyone! Ooh every time I see a new display with a tester, my heart just skips a beat! LOL I am sure that you all feel the same way, especially since it stops people from opening sealed products to swatch them and putting them back, only to buy the same exact shade but a brand new one. Anyways I think more drugstore brands should have testers for their products to stop those kind of people because there have been a couple of times where I have bought a product that was already opened and used. Eww, right? Anyways, I glad that there was a tester on this display.

This line has four shades, which is nice because CC creams and BB creams tend to either come out with two or three shades. The shades in this collection are light, light medium, medium, and medium deep. This is great for those that are in between shades. The tester that was on the display was in the shade light, which I did swatch on my hand. As you see in the pictures below, this cc cream doesn't have a runny formula and was very easy to blend. I would write more but I actually don't remember much, to be honest.

Please let me know if you have seen this new display at your stores yet. This one was spotted at my local CVS store but I am sure that it is already is RiteAid, Walgreens, Target and other stores. Let's give a hand clap to Revlon for including a tester in the display! I hope more stores will follow this and start doing the same. Anyways thanks for reading and I hope you guys have a great holiday and a happy new year! I still can't believe tomorrow is New Years! If you guys have tried this cc cream before, please leave a comment below letting me know what you think.

Spotted: Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser

Hey everyone! First off, how cute is this new collection from Maybelline? I was definitely attracted to the cute blue and pink packaging when I first saw these. It sort of reminds me of the cute packaging on Japanese products. This new collection is the Maybelline "Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser" and these claim to give you a poreless finish. I am guessing that these are pretty much similar to the Benefit PoreFessional Primer and they even have the similar baby blue packaging. I actually haven't tried the Benefit PoreFessional Primer so I can't compare the two but if you have, please leave a comment below telling us your thoughts. This claims to "visibly blue pores without clogging them and smooths and refines skin."

I haven't tried this yet but I know for sure, once it goes on sale, I will definitely be grabbing one to try. I like the concept on how it claims to give you a poreless finish. Who wouldn't want to try out a product with that kind of claim and get a flawless face?

Spotted: Sally Hansen Signed, Sealed & Sequined Collection

Hey everyone! If you are a nail polish lover, especially glitters then this collection is definitely for you! Sally Hansen has a new collection full of glitter nail polishes! I don't know if this nail polish is mainly for the holidays since people tend to associate sequins and glitter for the holidays and new years but if you know, please comment below. I don't think these are one coat glitters because on the display, Sally Hansen refers to them as "sequin overcoats" so I am guessing they might take a couple of coats for them to cover up the entire nail.

This collection comes with seven new shades. I think these are limited edition but I could be wrong either way, if you see one that you might like, you should just buy it anyways. LOL From left to right, the shades are Blush Over Hue, Crown Jewels, Over The Rainblue, Glare Necessities, Strawberry Shields, Open Mica Night, and Cherry On Top.

I think my favorites would probably be Blush Over Hue and Strawberry Shields. I feel like the others are similar to some glitters that I already own like the Milani ones. Let me know if you bought any so far and if you hadn't, which shades would you buy. I would love to know!

Spotted/Swatches: Almay Shadow Softies Collection

Hey everyone! This is another new collection that I spotted at my CVS. I actually have a ton of spotted posts all set up so hopefully, you guys don't get annoyed. LOL Anyways this post is going to be on the new "Almay Intense I-Color Shadow Softies" collection. I think these are permanent products from Almay since they might be discontinuing their other products. According to the display, this collection is available in 12 shades. Half of the shades are matte and the other half is metallic. These claim to be "lightweight, crease-free and pure color" as well as "color whipped to perfection."

I was glad that this display had a tester included. I actually noticed that a lot of displays at CVS stores are now having slots for testers now, which is great! I actually don't know the name of the shade that was displayed as the tester. I think that these shadows actually don't have individual names on them, which kind of sucks. The one that was included as the tester was the purple shade. While swatching it, I noticed that it wasn't a whipped texture but more of a soft, buttery powder feel. These are actually sheer when swatched. I have seen a couple of reviews on these and from the swatches that I have seen, they are all sheer. If you are looking for shadows that are vibrant and pigmented then these might not be for you but if you are looking for a sheer wash of color on the eyes, like a light eye look then these might be for you.

Let me know if you have tried these before and if you have seen them in stores yet. I would love to hear your opinions. Plus if you have bought these and have already used them, I would love to see your eye looks that you created using these shadows!

Spotted: Kardashian Beauty "See You In Sequins" Collection

Hey everyone! I hope you guys all had a great Christmas! Here is another spotted post from the Kardashian Beauty line. Usually whenever I see a Kardashian Beauty collection or line, I don't really feel like posting about it because the collection just doesn't appeal to me. I don't want to sound mean but I just don't like the Kardashians. I know that I don't know them personally but I have seen a couple episodes of their "reality" show and its just so annoying, especially with how their mom acts. She should definitely just act her age and stop trying to be friends with her daughters and act more like a mom. But like I said, thats just my opinion. If you don't like it, that is fine, you don't have to listen. :P

Anyways, this collection comes with three different sets. Each set contains its own lip gloss and nail polish! I think there was only two different shades. One was a cranberry red and the other was a champagne white shade. Both nail polishes were glitter finishes. The set also included some eye shadow sticks but they called it eye metal sticks. There are three different shades: reflect, smolder, and emboss. I think these have either a metallic finish or a glitter finish.

I haven't tried any of the products but if you have, please leave a comment below and let me know what you think of them. I would like to know if the eye metal sticks are similar in any way to the NYX jumbo eye pencils. I know for sure, that the price isn't similar. I think these are actually more pricier than the NYX. Actually now that I noticed but apparently a lot of new products from the Kardashian Beauty collections are priced $9.99 each.

Spotted: Kardashian Beauty "A Week Of Kisses" Collection

Hey everyone! Sorry that I haven't been posting as much as I used to. I have been trying to work more on my YouTube channel, LisaLovesMakeup87. Plus I have been busy with life as well. LOL First off, I just want to wish you guys all
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS
Anyways I finally had the time to go to CVS and check out all the new products that they had. I love seeing new products and I am sure that you all do too as well. I ended up going to another CVS store a bit further down from my neighborhood and noticed that this CVS has a lot more room in their beauty department to have more new displays.

One of the displays that I spotted was the Kardashian Beauty "A Week of Kisses" collection. This collection includes products for lips as well as a shimmer body spray, which I found a bit weird since the display is called "A Week of Kisses" so you think it would be a whole collection of lip products. Either that or they just got lazy and decided to name the collection the same name as their lipgloss set. What do you guys think? LOL Anyways this collection includes a tinted lip balm duo, mini gloss set, and a hair & body shine spray.

I haven't tried either products and to be honest, I don't think I will unless they were free. LOL If you have tried any of the products featured in this collection, please leave a comment below and let me know what you think of them. I would love to hear your opinions!

October 2013 Favorites

Hey everyone! This is my first time doing a monthly favorites in video form. Hopefully it turned out alright and that you guys liked it. Sorry about all the noises from the products. If you guys want to learn more information about the products shown, please comment below to let me know. I probably won’t be doing a written post here about my October Favorites since I decided to do this video instead.

I don't know if I am going to continue doing my monthly favorites in video form or just go back to taking pictures and writing everything out. Please let me know which one you would like more. I do love doing videos because it is fun filming but it is a hassle editing them and uploading them up. Writing everything out is nice too because it would only take me about a hour or less to type up a post and edit pictures. Let me know which option you guys prefer.

Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and please feel free to LIKE the video. ;)

Spotted: Maybelline ColorSensational Color Elixir Liquid Color Balm

Hey everyone! While going shopping for clearanced Halloween items like inexpensive candy to snack on. Haha! That probably wasn't a good idea since chances are, my face will be breaking out in a few days because of all the consumed chocolate. Let me know if you did the same thing too and will probably be regretting it in a few days time. Anyways, while I was at Walgreens looking at their 75% off clearance, I made a note to check out to see if they had any new makeup displays as well. I did end up seeing a couple so you will be seeing them being posting up.

This one will be on the Maybelline ColorSensational Color Elixir Liquid Color Balm. These claim to give off saturated color, sensuous balm care, and a polished lip shine. When I first saw these, I thought that they are so cute because they are sort of like mini travel size lipglosses. Let me just say that I am glad with the shade range that Maybelline came out with for this collection. I also love how there are purples and dark lip shades, which are definitely great for the fall and winter. I think there are two of each shade in this display so there is a total of 20 different shades so far in this collection.

Also if these sound sort of familiar, they do remind me a bit of the Almay Color+Care Liquid Lip Balms but thats mainly because they are both liquid lip balms. If you want to see that post on the Almay Liquid Lip Balms, you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/05/spotted-almay-colorcare-liquid-lip.html Definitely let me know if you have seen this display at your store yet and if you will be picking up a couple for your collection.

Spotted: Pretty Woman USA Texture, Dimension, & Flash Nail Collection

Hey everyone! If you are a nail lover, you will probably have fun with these nail sets. I spotted these at RiteAid a few days ago. I though they were pretty interesting because the sets were definitely eye-catching, thats for sure. I haven't tried anything from this brand since I just found out about it when I spotted the display. I don't know if itsa new brand but if you know, please comment below so I will know if its a new brand. Each set looks interesting because they let you custom design your nails with so many options to choose from.

The first set is called Seashells, which contain different color "shells" for creating textured nails. You get four different shades of the "shells" and one clear polish as your base.

The second set in the collection is called Foil Effects, which is used to create foil nail art. This set contains 4 foils and a black polish for the base color. I actually never tried foil nail art before but this set makes it seem simple since it contains instructions in the back.

Each set retails for $7.99 plus tax. The suggest value is $14.99 so thats a pretty good deal, especially since there are other nail sets from high end brands that are more expensive. Let me know if you have tried or heard of this brand before. If you have bought these sets before and/or just love seeing designs, you can go check out their website at www.prettywomanusa.com for creative nail designs.

Spotted: Revlon Designed By Marchesa LE Nail Art Stickers

Hey everyone! Oh my goodness, when I saw this display I was definitely intrigued. I actually never tried any nail stickers from Revlon before but these really caught by eye with all the gorgeous designs. The designs look like something you would see on those fancy ball gowns or on dresses you would see in those "historical drama"movies and television shows.

There are four designs in this collection and all of them are gorgeous in their own way. If I were able to buy them all, I would have but at $9.99 a pop, that is just way too much for a set of nail stickers. These are a bit different from your typical nail stickers though because they are intricate nail appliques inspired by couture house Marchesa's signature designs. If you have seen this display at your drugstore before, let me know what you think about the designs and if you are contemplating on buying any.
