My 50% Off Sears Haul

Hey everyone! I am not sure if you guys have heard but certain Sears have been clearancing their makeup department. I guess Sears haven't been doing so good in the makeup department so they decided to get rid of it and extend their jewelry department instead. I am just assuming since that is what it looks like is happening to my Sears. This haul was actually a few weeks ago. I would have posted it a bit earlier but I have been taking pictures on my new phone lately and it takes longer to edit the pictures. I might have to go back to taking pictures on my Nikon camera. Anyways, onto my haul. I was so excited when I found out that Sears was having this sale that I made sure to go straight there.

WHAT I BOUGHT:
CoverGirl Eyeshadow Quads "215 Country Woods" & "265 Sheerly Nudes"
When I saw these two quads, I instantly thought of both Naked palettes. If you put these two quads together, you can probably have your substitute right there, especially if you are on a budget. I haven't tried these yet but I will probably be using these when I go travel since the Naked palettes are a bit long and take up room. I would try these right now but I have been really liking my BH Cosmetics 88 Warm Palette and I want to try to hit pan on a couple of shadows before I move on. LOL

Nicole By OPI Drying Drops
I haven't tried this yet but I have been looking for fast drying top coats. Currently I have been using Seche Vite and I like it. The only things that I don't like it about is all the bad chemicals in it and the fact that once you get to the middle of the bottle, the formula gets goopy. I heard about the OPI Drying Drops from my friend, Marie and she swears by this stuff. It claims to dry to the touch in 60 seconds so that is a pretty good claim. I can't wait to try this. I just have to use up my current bottle of Seche Vite first. If you have tried both before, let me know which top coat you prefer.

Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum "Black"
I had to get this because it came with a bonus clear serum as well. It was just too good of a deal to pass up. I am not sure if my current Lash Boosting Eyeliner has been helping my lashes grow but they do appear longer whenever I use it. I thought maybe just applying any other eyeliner would work as well but nope it only works with my PF Lash Boosting Eyeliner. Hopefully these will make them longer because I love me some long lashes and have been sad ever since my ex ELF Eyelash Curler cut most of them in half.

While I was browsing through the aisles, I noticed that they had a bunch of samples in the center of the aisles. Because of that, I made a beeline straight to it and took a couple. I didn't go all crazy since I didn't know if any of the employees were watching and if there was a limit. LOL I picked out three different types of samples and they are all skincare samples since that was all they had. I got two Retinol Night Cream, 3 of the Lumene Sensitive Touch Cream and a single sample packet of the Lumene Bright Skin Radiance Nectar. I didn't end up keeping these since I gave them all to my mom. I usually only keep the makeup samples and give the rest to my mom. If you have tried any of these before, please let me know so I could tell my mom which one to try first. LOL

Before I end my little haul, I just want to say sorry for the lack of posts lately. I am been crazy busy and only get one day in the week to relax to myself. I am going to try to post up all my swatches and reviews since those have been piling up like crazy. I am going to try to post up swatches of my shine Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick and the Maybelline highlighter that I recently hauled.

Swatches: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush "Charisma"

Hey everyone! I have been meaning to put up this post for a while now but glad that I am finally having the time to type it up. If you have seen my makeup collection, then you would definitely know that I love the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blushes! I only own a few of them but wish someday that I could have the whole collection. I just love the whole overall product as well as the packaging. If you have a lot of Tarte blushes, then you would already know what I mean. Their packaging makes finding the shade that you want so much easier since the color of the packaging is similar to the actual color of the blush. Plus because of the colorful packaging, it just makes your blush collection look prettier.

I actually don't remember what set I got this shade from but I do know that it was a set since all my Tarte blushes are from sets. Tarte blushes regularly retail for $26 but I like to buy them in sets since you can more for your money but they usually aren't full size but half the size of a regular blush. This one is actually full size and I think it was a Sephora exclusive set around the holidays.

Charisma is actually a gorgeous shade. The Tarte website describes Charisma as a "warm golden apricot" but a lot of people have been describing it as a rosy peach with gold shimmer. I definitely agree with the gold shimmer part, as you can see in my swatches. If you are not a fan of shimmery blushes, you might not be a fan of this but for me, the shimmer doesn't bother me. I actually love wearing this blush in the summer for that golden glow.

It is definitely a pigmented blush that I can see looking gorgeous on a lot of medium to dark skint ones but of course, light skin tones can wear this blush too. Let me know how you feel about this blush.

QUESTIONS:
Have you ever tried any of the Tarte blushes?
How do you feel about Charisma?

Spotted: Forever21 Love & Beauty Makeup

Hey everyone!  I have heard so much about their makeup online that I just had to check it out while I was there shopping for clothes. I heard a lot of great things about this one eyeshadow palette but I couldn't find it at my store but I did end up finding other eyeshadow palettes and a lip gloss set. Doesn't their packaging look cute? I haven't looked at any Love & Beauty products in such a long time but I actually think they upgraded with their packaging big time.

Anyways, while I was there I made sure to check their makeup to see what all the hype was about and I came across these Gloss Trios. I don't know if there are other shades since on the box it states "natural shades" but these retail for $6.80 plus tax. The colors in this trio are gorgeous and they look great for any look and for any day of the week. If you have tried these, please let me know what you think about these. I actually have been thinking about going back to buy this but then again, I already have so many lipglosses in my collection and some of them haven't even been opened yet.

Another makeup item that I spotted was this Beauty Book. I really like how it has the little heart hanging on the binder of the palette and the clear heart shaped window on the cover giving you a peek into the shadows of the palette. This palette has two blushes and 16 eye shadows. This palette has shadows great for creating any eye look from neutral to smokey eyes. This one is $9.80 plus tax, which isn't that bad for an eyeshadow palette. Plus it has two blushes so that is always a plus.

The last eyeshadow palette that I spotted was this Eye Shadow Notebook. Again, how adorable is this packaging? I love the color and the flowers on it. Plus its a great size to travel with as well or just to throw in your purse for any touch-ups throughout the day. There is a mirror inside the cover and there is this cute quote, "I look stunning today!" I love it when palettes have positive quotes like that, especially by the mirror. There are 6 shadows and one blush with a mini applicator in this palette. This one is $4.80 plus tax, which is the cheapest out of all the eyeshadow palettes that I found. Great for those on a budget!

Okay now onto the nail polishes. I only found on nail polish set and this one is the DIY Floral Nail Design Kit. It retails for $8.80 plus tax, which is such a great price for 7 nail polishes and a top coat. These nail polishes have that pointed fine tip, which makes them great for doing nail art. I haven't tried these but didn't buy these because I don't have a steady hand. I do love the colors of the polishes that the set comes with through. I have tried some Love & Beauty polishes and they do have good formula and quality so I can see these probably selling out soon.

So that is all for my spotted haul. I didn't end up buying anything but if you have tried any of these, please let me know if you end up loving these. I would love to know your opinions. There are some products that I do want to go back and buy but I have so much makeup already that I am not sure if I am going to buy them. Maybe after I check out the swatches and reviews. LOL Who knows, right?

My Birthday Ulta Haul

Hey everyone! If you didn't know, my birthday was actually just a month ago and Ulta was actually nice enough to send me a $10 off anything Birthday coupon since I am a Platinum member. To tell you the truth, being a Platinum member isn't anything special. So far the $10 off coupon is the best thing but thats it. I haven't gotten any good offers or been invited to any special events (if they had any). Anyways, since they sent me the coupon, I knew that I couldn't let it go to waste. I made sure that I was going to take advantage of it before it expires. LOL The only bad thing was that I didn't know what I wanted when I walked into the store.

WHAT I BOUGHT:
Anastasia Bold Brows Kit "Dark Brown"
I have been wanting to try out the Anastasia Brow Powder Duo for the longest! I also wanted to try the Tarte Brow Mouse as well but my Ulta didn't have my shade in stock. Oh well, saves me money! LOL Anyways since I saw that Anastasia came out with this kit, I knew that I had to get it. It was such a good deal since it retails for $36. It comes with a full size brow powder duo, full size clear brow gel, and a mini brush. The brow powder duo itself retails for $23 and the brow gel is $22 so if I had bought them individually, I would end up paying way more than what I had paid for the kit. So if you have been wanting to try out the brow powder duo, you should definitely go and get this kit before its all sold out. I have been trying out the brow powder duo since I bought it and I have really been loving it. I love it way more than my beloved ELF Studio Eyebrow Kit but I wish that it wasn't on the pricey side. LOL

Maybelline Nail Polish "370 Shocking Seas"
I actually don't know the reason why I bought this since I already have so many other polish brands in this color but I think it was because I had a coupon for it. LOL Dang, me and my coupons! I will probably end up giving this polish away or saving it for a future contest, which I do plan to have. I just need to figure out all the details and how to have one.

As always, whenever I made a purchase at Ulta, I always make sure to try to remember to ask for samples at the checkout. Sometimes I do forget and regret it but I always try to remember. I actually got two samples and one of them is one that I was really happy to get! Can you guys guess which one? Do you have your guess yet? 3-2-1 It was the Benefit Stay Flawless Primer. Let me know in the comments below if you guys guess right. LOL Anyways, Benefit recently came out with a new primer and I was so happy to have gotten this as a sample. I have been using it everyday since and I must say that I really like it. If it wasn't on the pricey side, I would definitely purchase the full size of it. The other sample that I got was a RedKen Diamond Oil. Its supposed to make your hair really shiny so I am not sure if I am going to try this since I don't really want my hair to look oily shiny but we will see.

Anyways, that was my entire birthday haul from Ulta! So far, I am really loving the Anastasia brow powder but I am a bit peeved that right when I finally buy it, they change the packaging to black and gold instead of a shiny silver. LOL Don't you guys hate that when that happens? Don't be surprised when you see this in my monthly favorites. By the way, I still need to post up my July Favorites and hopefully I will get everything done this week. Sorry for the delay. Hope you guys liked my mini haul and hope to talk to you guys later!

DermaSilk Haul

Hey everyone! I don't know about you guys but I am definitely getting old here. LOL I am in my mid twenties and I already have some strong, defined wrinkles on my forehead. I have tried other wrinkles creams and serums but so far, none of them have really worked on me. The Origins one worked a bit but after constant use, it didn't work as much as it first did. Since CVS was having a sale on these a while back, I decided to get some to try out. I actually only had to pay tax for these since they were on sale and I had coupons. Plus I got my money back in ECBs. Hopefully these will end up working since I think they were regularly priced around $30 plus tax. I actually bought two of the DermaSilk 1 Minute Wrinkle Eraser Pen because this one was the only one on sale.

If you don't know what this is, its claims to "instantly plump, diffuse, and minimize the appearance of fine line wrinkles." It also says that it "reduces crease memory," which I am guessing crease memory means forehead lines. I actually gave one to my parents to try out and kept the other one for myself, which I will be trying out tonight. If it ends up working, I will definitely be posting a review up to let you guys know. Hopefully it does because I hate how my makeup makes my forehead wrinkles more pronounced, especially after I raise my forehead when apply mascara. Let me know if that happens to you too and if you have any wrinkles on your forehead.

QUESTIONS:
Have you ever tried DermaSilk before?
Do you have forehead lines or wrinkles?

Hey everyone! Just wanted you guys to know real quick that Lorac Cosmetics will be on sale on HauteLook starting tomorrow at 8AM on Friday, August 9, 2013. If you are a fan of Lorac, you should definitely check out this sale, especially before everything sells out quickly! You can click here: HauteLook to get a sneak peak of the sale as well as buying when the sale starts! I was looking at some of the pictures and it looks like they might have the Mint Collection (the Ulta Exclusive one). I actually even used the palette today and got compliments on my eyes because of the mint shade in the palette.

Mini ULTA Haul

Hey everyone! Whoa, I feel like its been a while since I hauled anything from Ulta. I feel like they haven't been having any good sales lately. Hopefully they will have their 40% off sale again because I am definitely excited for that one. Let me know if you guys are the same as well. LOL Anyways, the only reason why I decided to shop at Ulta again was because they had sent me a $3 off anything coupon in my email so of course, I had to use it. I actually went in not nothing what to get and since there wasn't anything that I was really interested in, I didn't want to spend money on something that I wanted excited for so I decided to look in the clearance section. I was hoping that I would be able to find something about $3 so that way, I would just end up paying tax. Pretty smart idea, yes? LOL

I just ended up finding one thing that was around $3. I actually never tried it before but have sometimes thought about giving it a try since people tend to like CoverGirl foundations. They actually had a couple of CoverGirl items on clearance. I just got the CoverGirl TruBlend Foundation in "450 Creamy Beige." Hopefully its the right color since they didn't have a huge selection to choose from. Usually I would just go with anything that has the word "beige" in it and pray that its the right color. LOL

I was glad that I only paid tax for this item and of course, I had to ask for a sample! I swear sometimes employees at Sephora and Ulta are sting-ey with their samples. Come on you guys get them for free to give out to your customers, do what you are expected to do. Am I right? She only gave me one sample (disappointed), which was the Prada Luna Rossa sample. I haven't smelled it but I will probably just end up giving it away to someone.

Anyways, that was my short haul. This was probably my smallest haul on makeup. Let me know if you guys ever hauled anything small like this before. I haven't tried the foundation yet but hopefully it will match and work great on my skin. I was kind of hoping that it will compare to the CoverGirl Outlast foundation. I would just get the Outlast foundation myself but all the reviews that I have read on it say that its a bit on the heavy, thick side so I want try other foundations first since I'm not much a fan of thick formulas.

QUESTIONS:
Have you ever tried this foundation before?
Do you like CoverGirl foundations?

Mini CVS & Walgreens Haul

Hey everyone! This is probably one of the smallest hauls that I have ever posted online. I actually bought these in the beginning of July but haven't had much time to post it since I wanted to post up all the spotted posts first. Since I am finally done with all my spotted posts, now is finally the time to post up my hauls that I have been regretting to do. This is just a mini haul that I bought at both CVS and Walgreens. An item from each store. I got to admit, it actually felt a bit weird to walk up to the registers with just one item. LOL Let me know if you guys ever felt the same as well.

WHAT I BOUGHT:
Maybelline Touch Of Light Luminizing Face Glow
This was what I bought at my Walgreens store. It was on clearance for $1 plus tax. I think this was a limited edition item that came out a while back so I was surprised to see it again. I didn't hear much about it when it first came out but I decided to try it out anyways since it was only a dollar plus tax. So far, I have been regretting on buying this but that could be because its summer right now and I don't want my face to be on the glowy side. Maybe I will like this better in the winter.

Revlon Super Lustrous Shine Lipstick "820 Pink Cognito"
I bought this at my CVS store.I love the Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks so I was excited to try out the new line of Shine finish lipsticks. I do wish I had bought two more to try out since different shades can be different. Pink Cognito is definitely a sheer lipstick but I like it because its a better than my lips kind of color. I can wear it and still have my makeup look natural. Plus I don't have to worry if it fades away weird.

That is all for my mini haul. If you would like to see swatches of any of these products, please let me know by commenting below! If you have tried any of these products as well, I would love to hear (or read LOL) your opinions! Also since I might be picking up two more shades from the Shine line, if you guys recommend any shades, please let me know!
