SPOTTED: Wet N Wild Summer Nail Pail

Hey everyone! Guess what? I was at CVS a few days ago and spotted this new WnW product. It was my first time seeing it and I knew that I had to take pictures of it. I am assuming that this is new because I haven't seen anyone post about it yet. I wish that I had bought it and taken it home with me. It looks like its a great product for nail polish lovers because it comes with a tons of different product for the nails.

What it comes with:
  • 7 WnW FastDry nail polishes
  • Nail File
  • 24 Nail Art Stencils
  • Nail Art Bottle
  • Toe Nail Separators

Sorry that I couldn't get the name of the polishes. They didn't list the names of the shades and it was hard to see the names on the actual bottles since everything was packaged together. I think this is a great summer nail polish set. It comes with all pretty summer shades. Plus it comes in a cute pail that you can reuse. Plus its only $9.99USD plus tax for a $30USD value! That is a really great deal. I don't know if this is exclusive to CVS or not because I have only seen it at one CVS store so far.

QUESTIONS:
Have you seen the WnW Summer Nail Pail?
Are you considering on getting this?

Natural Eye Look (Great For Monolids)

Hey everyone! Here is another eye look by me. Its pretty simple and great for those who are running short on time and/or have monolids. I don't know if you can tell in my pictures but I have monolids. I didn't really do much but I think this is a great look for beginners as well. Its simple and all the eyeshadows that I used are "drugstore" brand. The only thing that wasn't drugstore were the false lashes that I used but you can easily substitute then any other brand. I know that in some pictures it might look like I have an fold but its actually the false lashes that I am wearing thats giving my lids the illusion. I don't know why but everytime I wear false lashes, its creates a fold in my lids.

What I used:
  • ELF Essential Beauty School Beauty Book in Natural
  • Maybelline ExpertWear Single Shadow in 15S Linen
  • Milani Liquif'Eye Metallic Eye Liner Pencil in 01 Black
  • Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil in 061 Jet Black
  • Model 21 Lashes in #8
  • ELF Studio Eye Brow Kit in Dark

So that is all those are all the products that I used for my eyelook. Pretty much everything but the lashes are drugstore. All the ELF products can be found at select Target stores. The ELF Beauty Books for $5USD and the ELF Studio Brow Kit is sold for $3USD plus tax. The Maybelline, Milani, and Rimmel products can be purchased at any drugstore like Target, CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid, and WalMart stores. I hope you guys liked my natural eye look. If you would like to see a video on how I did this eye look, let me know. I have been debating on whether I should start a YouTube channel but I don't know if anybody would want to watch them. What do you guys think, should I start a beauty channel?

QUESTIONS:
Do you have monolids?
What do you think about this natural eye look?

Clearanced Walgreens Haul

Hey everyone! I don't know why I even went to Walgreens but I wanted to check out if they had any good deals going on. Well I didn't buy anything that was on sale but I did find a couple of items on clearance. Yay! If you know me, you know that I love buying things at discounts! I didn't get much because there wasn't that much left but I was lucky to get some stuff. Everything that I bought are nail polishes because I am a nail polish addict. LOL

What I bought:
- Wet N Wild ColorIcon Nail Polish in Diamond In The Rough
- Wet N Wild ColorIcon Nail Polish in Give Me A Price Quote
- Essie My Perfect Picks in Jazz & St. Lucia Lilac
- Essie My Perfect Picks in Real Simple & Very Cranberry

Everything was on clearance. Both the Wet N Wild nail polishes were $1USD plus tax each and the Essie mini duo sets were $2USD plus tax each. I was so excited that I found all of these on clearance. I have been wanting to try the Wet N Wild ColorIcon nail polishes ever since they came out but they were limited edition and long ago sold out. So that is all for my haul. I can't wait to try out these nail polishes!

QUESTIONS:
Have you been to Walgreens lately?
What brand nail polishes do you like?
How do you feel about WnW and Essie nail polishes?

Mini Collective Haul: Dollar Tree & Costco

Hey everyone! Yesterday was somewhat of a slow day so I decided to go check out Dollar Tree and see if they have anything good. Plus I wanted to buy some more glue sticks to make some more makeup organizers. I was supposed to buy some more foam boards but I forgot. LOL I was too busy trying to make sure that I got the glue sticks because the last couple of times I went, they were all sold out and a bunch of people were asking for them. Since this time that I went, they restocked, I made sure to grab two glue sticks packs. I also bought some nail art glitters. They had two different kinds, one looked like broken rocks and the other was bar glitters. I bought the last two bar glitters. It comes with red, orange, yellow, blue, silver, white, purple, and pink bar glitter all in cute mini bottles.

I also went to Costco, which wasn't that smart of me since it was a Sunday. If you have never been to a Costco before, it usually gets crazy hectic on Sunday because its an off day from work and they give out free samples. There were so many people and some of them were such butss. I don't know why people get so crazy over samples. It was just so hard to move around the store, especially when you are with your little brother. I was so worried that someone might accidently hit him with their cart. Even though I was worried, he was having the time of his life eating all the free samples that I was getting for him. LOL I did get irritated at one point where I was waiting to get a tuna sandwich for my brother. There were these two college girls (or older) who were at the free sample table as well. Every time the lady would put out more samples, those girls would just stand infront and grab all of them, stuff them into their mouths and grab some more. Don't you just get annoyed when people do that? I admit, I got somewhat irritated because there were other people behind them waiting in line but enough with that. I bought other stuff at Costco but the only thing beauty related was the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes. It comes with 4 refills (25 count each) and 2 travel refills (7 count each).

So that is all that I bought at both Dollar Tree and at Costco. It isn't much but its good enough for me for now. LOL I am really excited about the nail art glitters. I am planning on maybe mixing them all together. I also plan on using the silver bar glitter and making one similar to China Glaze Save Me. If you have any questions, please let me know!

QUESTIONS:
Have you been to the Dollar Tree and/or Costco?
Have you tried making or customizing your own nail polishes?
What do you think about the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes?

Swatches: Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in Rose

Hey everyone! If you didn't know already CVS was having another sale on their Physicians Formula products. The sale was buy any PF product, get back $7 in ECBs (limit 1)! Plus if you were lucky, you might have gotten a $3 off any PF product. So if you bought a product around $10, you might have been able to get it for free (after ECBs) and just end up paying for tax. The sale is now over and I wanted to post up this review during the sale but Luuux wasn’t letting me log on saying that there were too many Luuux members signed on. I thought it would still be nice to post this review and swatches on the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush since chances are CVS might have this sale again.

I only have one Happy Booster blush and its in the shade Rose. As you can see from my swatches, Rose is a gorgeous bright pink with a fuchsia undertone. It does have some shimmer but thats the whole point since it does have the word "glow" in its title. The shimmer isn't too much and doesn't make you look like a shiny disco ball. Its pretty pigmented so you don't really need a heavy swipe of this. In my opinion, I think Rose is a gorgeous blush for any skin tone. For light skin tone, you just need to lightly swipe your brush and for those with darker skin tones, you can either go light or heavy (depending on how much color you want to show up on your cheeks).

If you didn't know, Physicians Formula came out with the Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting line last year around Valentine's Day in 2011. When it first came out, it was a pretty popular drugstore product. It was pretty smart of PF to release this product around Valentine's Day, in my opinion. When it first came out, pretty much everyone wanted it. Its pretty with pink and red hearts plus it had a fragrance to it and the packaging is hot pink; everything about this blush was claimed to boost people's mood. I must say that after a while the fragrance does go away. I have had this blush for almost a year now and the rose smell that it had is barely there. It also comes with a mirror and a mini brush. The mirror is alright but I have never used the brush so I can't really say if its good or not.

If you are a girly-girl like me, then I would definitely recommend this blush. There are also four other shades in the Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush line: Pink, Warm, Natural, and Rose. Plus recently PF just came out with lipsticks for the Happy Booster line. I haven't tried the lipsticks or the bronzers for this line but I do plan on trying them all someday. If you have tried any of the other products from the PF Happy Booster line, please let me know your opinions!

QUESTIONS:
Have you gotten any PF products from the sale this week?
Are there any PF products that you love and constantly buy?
What do you think about the Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blushes, in particular, the shade Rose?

NATM: Matte Metal Madness

Hey everyone! I feel like I haven't painted my nails in a while. Its been about two to three weeks since I painted my nails. Before I was painting my nails constantly and I got worried that they were going to turn yellow so I gave them a break from nail polish so they could breathe. I would have given them longer time but I feel like every time I look at my polish collection, all my polishes are whispering for me to use them up. LOL

I have really been into matte nail looks so I decided to use my Hard Candy Matte-Ly In Love Top Coat. Its a great top coat to use whenever you want a matte finish. It mattifies your polishes within seconds and dries pretty quick. I bought mines at WalMart for around $6USD-$7USD plus tax. I wasn't sure which polish I wanted to use but I do remember a polish from the China Glaze Capitol Colours Collection that I have been wanting but so hard to get a hold of. If you don't know which polish I am talking about, it is the China Glaze Stone Cold. I just love how that polish looks that I had to do something similar to it. Sorry about the pictures. I know that they are not the best but for some reason, my camera couldn't focus right.

What I used:
ORLY Top2Bottom
ELF Nail Polish in Metal Madness
Hard Candy Matte-Ly In Love Top Coat

So that is all for my NATM. Its not much but its good enough for me. LOL What do you guys think? Do you think its somewhat similar to Stone Cold? Do you own any polishes from the Capitol Colours collection? Let me know, I would love to hear your opinions!

Maybelline & Revlon Haul

Hey everyone! I know I went a little bit crazy on this haul but not everything is for me. I only bought two things for me and the rest is for my cousins. Some of my cousins are just starting to get into makeup and I thought it would be nice to buy them a couple of easy beginners makeup. Plus I bought everything at such great prices that I might just go back and buy some more.

What I bought:
  • Maybelline EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in 858 Sapphire $3USD
  • Revlon ColorBurst Lipsticks in 001 Lilac (x2) and 040 Soft Rose $1USD each
  • Maybelline EyeStudio Cream Shadows in 15 Rose Revolution (x4) $1USD each
  • Maybelline EyeStudio Cream Shadows in 25 Neutral $1USD
  • Maybelline EyeStudio Cream Shadows in 20 Purple Possibilities $1USD
  • Maybelline EyeStudio Cream Shadows in30 Pedal To The Metal $1USD

If you are wondering which products are the ones that I bought for myself, then keep on guessing! LOL I'm just playing. I bought the Gel Eyeliner and Neutral for myself. Everything else are gifts. I will do a review (with swatches) on the Maybelline EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner soon, so stay tuned...

QUESTIONS:
Have you tried any of these products before?
What do you think about these products?

EOTD: Green With Falsies

Hey everyone! Today, I just had to go to my dentist to get my braces retightened. Yes I wear braces and I can't wait for the day where they will finally come off! If you want to know more about my braces, just let me know! I was going to get my braces taken off last month but I wanted my teeth to be more straighter so I am going to be wearing them a little bit longer. I don't know if that was dumb or smart. LOL Since I was going to my dentist today, I didn't want to go all out with my eye makeup so I just went simple. I would have taken a picture of my overall face and post it as a FOTD but I didn't do anything special with my lips or anything since it is the dentist (let's face it, if you wear lipstick to the dentist, it is just going to get all messed up).

I went a little out of my comfort zone and decided to wear green today. I barely wear any colors on my eyes besides neutral, brown shades. Yes my eyes are usuall boring. LOL Today I decided to wear green on my lids. I didn't go all crazy or creative but it was still a step up. Maybe I will try something more creative sometime in the future but I have to admit, its a little bit hard for me since I have monolids. If I end up going to far or wearing too much eyeshadows, I tend to feel like I am going for the prositute look (which I am not saying is a bad thing, if its your thing, but its just not for me LOL).

What I am wearing:
  • ELF Studio Eyebrow Kit in Dark (for my eyebrows)
  • Maybelline EyeStudio in 05 Flash of Forest (the middle cream green shade as an eyeshadow base)
  • Urban Decay Mildew (just lightly pat over the cream shadow)
  • Model 21 False Lashes in #4
  • Almay Intense i-Color Light Interplay Mascara in 032 Black Steel (to darken up the false lashes)
  • NYC Eyeliner in Black (to line my waterline)
So that is all I am wearing on my eyes. I know it isn't the best EOTD but keep in mind that I am just starting out with doing EOTD posts. I wasn't trying to go all out on my eyes since I wanted everything to be simple. If you have any questions about any of the products that I used or would like to see reviews/swatches on a certain product, featured here, let me know!
