Review/Swatches: Lorac Mint Edition Palette

Hey everyone! Since Lorac came out with a new limited edition palette, I wanted to make sure to get this post up as soon as possible. If you didn't know, Lorac Cosmetics recently came out with two limited edition sets. One is exclusively sold at Sephora and the other is sold exclusively at Ulta. I actually wanted to get both but of course, I didn't because that would just be ridiculous. I actually got the one that was sold exclusively at Ulta stores. If you would like to see that haul and what other products that the set came with, you can CLICK HERE.

When I first saw this palette in the Ulta catalog, I literally fell in love. I love Lorac products and my favorite products from them are their eye shadows! They are so smooth to the touch and blend wonderful. My favorite palette from them of all time would definitely be their Lorac Pro palette, which made me want to try out more of their products! Hopefully one day I will be able to try out all of their products! The thing that really sold me on this set was the colors in the palette and the clutch that came with the set. The overall look of all the products in the set is so gorgeous and definitely perfect for the Spring!

This palette comes with 6 eye shadows and 1 blush, which I will be showing you swatches of. I swatched them alone as well as with the Lorac Behind The Scenes Eye Primer, which I love as well. The eye shadows in this palette are great for creating so many different eye looks, perfect for all year around. There are three matte shades and three shimmery shades, just like the Lorac Pro palette where half of the shadows are matte and the other half are shimmery. The blush that is included in the palette has a shimmery finish, which is nice because I love blushes with that type of finish for the Spring and Summer.

All the shadows in this palette perform exceptionally well, except for the mint shade (which I am a bit sad to say). You definitely need a base and a primer for the mint shade to show up well on the eyes. I actually had to swatch it a couple of times for that one eyeshadow to show up in the pictures. All the other shadows are pigmented and perform as great as the shadows in the Lorac Pro palette. The blush is a gorgeous peachy pink blush. I love how it looks on my cheeks. This blush is soft that it makes me want to try out other blushes from Lorac! I am definitely in love with this palette. So far, I have been using it pretty much everyday. I just love the shimmery eye shadows included in this palette! Lorac definitely did another great job with this palette!

  1. Looks good! Though I personally don't like palettes with like blush and shadows together. I prefer palette with only one type of product. I would hate it if some shadow got on the blush!

    1. I haven't had that problem with this palette or pretty much any of my palettes that contain both blush and eyeshadows. Sorry to hear that it happens to you..
