Hey everyone! I just wanted to show you guys what I got as a gift a while back. I was actually surprised when I saw this! Lorac Mint Edition Collection looks like it would be a great Spring palette. I actually can't wait to wear it and come up with spring eye looks. According to the packaging, "Lorac introduces a retro-cool collection, inspired by classic, feminine style. Mint Edition Eye/Cheek palette contains a variety of 6 matte and shimmer eye shadows and a blush, all made with Lorac's original velvety-smooth formula." Since this palette contains both mattes and shimmers, it actually reminded me of their Lorac Pro palette, which I love! Since I love that palette so much, I knew that I wanted to give this palette a try too since it looks great for the Spring.
Let me just say that the overall packaging is just so darn cute. I love how all the products are inside the wristlet and wrapped in mint tissue paper.
This collection also comes with a Lips With Benefits Lip Gloss "Christian" and a silver chain mesh wristlet. Christian is a gorgeous coral-pink shade. I love how the actual lip gloss has a tiger design to it. There are three colors in this one lip gloss. It has a light pink, bright pink, and a beige shade and when they are all applied onto the lips, it creates a beautiful coral-pink.
The silver chain mesh wristlet is cute as well. It has a faux-leather mint detailing. I also love how the inside of the wristlet is mint. I can definitely see myself using this for traveling and/or for going out during the day.
Overall, I am so happy with this gift! I haven't tried the products yet but I definitely can't wait. I am going to try out the eye looks on the package, especially the mint one. That one looks really pretty for the Spring. if I do end up recreating that eye look, I will be posting it up for you guys to see.

I have the same kit from my Ulta haul! the mint color is a little disappointing :/
ReplyDeleteThats great that you were able to get this set! Yeah I was a bit sad about the mint color. I have been trying to find ways to enhance the color more on the lid. Hopefully I will be able to find the perfect combination to get the mint to pop more.
