Swatches: Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc "Golden Mosaic"
Hey everyone! I remember when I first got this. Sephora was offering a 500 point perk on a Laura Mercier set featuring four of the brand's popular products. This was also included in the popular Sephora Favorites: In The Glow Set for the 2012 Holidays. I never tried Laura Mercier before but have heard great things about the silk foundation and the tinted moisturizer. The set did include the tinted moisturizer, eye primer, foundation primer, and a shimmer bloc. All these products claim to be flawless best sellers. I was so excited when I got this set because all the products were decent sizes and were going to last me a while.
One of the products that I was most excited to try out was the Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc "Golden Mosaic". It is a gorgeous highlighter and I have heard that some people actually love using this as eyeshadows but I have only used it as a highlighter. It comes with four shades that you can use separately or mix them together.
I actually have been loving using it as highlighter. Sometimes I would mix the colors together for a golden bronze glow but whenever I want a champagne highlight, I would just dab my brush into the bottom shade. The shades are pigmented and definitely gorgeous.
But if you already have this and have no use for this, you might end up loving it as eyeshadows since the shadows do look similar to shadows you see in both the Urban Decay Naked palette and the Lorac Pro palette.
QUESTIONS:
Have you ever tried Laura Mercier products before?
What do you think about the Shimmer Bloc in Golden Mosaic?
