My Current Mascara Collection

Hi everyone! I have always wanted to do these types of posts (videos) featuring my makeup collection. Don't get me wrong. I do want to do the usual makeup collection/storage video but I am keeping that for a later time in the future for when I have more subscribers. Once I reach a certain number of subscribers that I have in my head, that is going to be the first video that I am going to post as a treat for myself because I love watching those types of videos. LOL If you are the same, comment below! I also love watching hauls too even though they are somewhat bad to watch because they just make you want to buy more.

This video is going to feature the mascaras that I currently have open and have been using. Once this video is done editing and posted onto my channel, I am going to be throwing away some of my mascaras because to be honest, some of them are old. Remember if your mascaras are past the 3 month date since the first time you opened it and if it starts smelling or is dried out then it is time to throw them out. Don't be an old mascara hoarder! ;)

As always, thank you for reading and for watching my video! Hope you guys enjoyed it!

Collection: Ring Holder & Rings

Hey everyone! I have had this post on my computer for the longest and IDK why I never bothered to post it up. I remember wanting to do this post when I first bought this ring holder from Claires. I only bought it for $1 plus tax!! That is the most inexpensive ring holder that I have ever bought but then again, I only have one. LOL I remember walking into Claires and seeing this right away. I was immediately curious about it and actually didn't even know its purpose. I had to ask one of the employees what it was and she told me that it was a ring holder. I instantly put it in my basket and asked her if she had anymore but she said that she only had more in the back and wasn't allowed to bring anymore to te front until a couple days later. Bummer!

I love how its in the shape of a hand and all the fingers are separated so it can hold a lot of rings-big rings to small rings. Plus I also love how the nails are pink, my favorite color!! So far, I am definitely loving it! This ring holder is where I store all my rings. As you can see, I have a bunch of rings that you can find at F21 and H&M. Thats all I can afford for now. LOL Anyways, I hope you guys liked it and please comment below telling me how you store your rings. I would love to know!

QUESTIONS:
Have you ever seen a ring holder like this before?
What do you guys think about it?

Please feel free to Comment, Like, Friend, & Follow!

My Mascara Collection

Hey everyone! I have been meaning to get up this post for a while now but since I recently finished up some of my mascaras, I knew that it was time to do a mascara collection post before I started opening up new mascaras to add to my collection. Some of these mascaras featured in this post will also be in my next empties post so don't be surpised when you see them again. Mascaras typically go bad in 3-6 months, depending on the amount of usage. I don't use the same mascara everyday since I like to switch it up every once in a while so my mascaras tend to last a bit longer. Plus I always make sure to write down the date when I opened a new mascara on each to help me know when to throw them out. If you guys tend to forget how long you have a mascara, you should try marking them with the date as well because it helps out a lot.

Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara "Blackest Black"
I always make sure to have at least one waterproof mascara in my collection, in case for rainy days and/or special occasions where I knew there might be a slight chance of me crying. LOL This mascara doesn't get my crazy volume, like it claims but I like to use it everyday for my lower lashes since it doesn't smudge as much as muy other mascaras. I think this mascara (or maybe the regular formula)will be better for those who have long lashes.
Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara "Black"
I really love this mascara and will definitely love to buy another, if Mary Kay still sells it. This mascara gives me length and volume. Plus it doesn't smude or flake off. It is literally one of my favorites mascaras that I have tried. I really like the brush as well. Its not too big but not too small where the bristles would end up poking your eyes or leaving bits of mascara on your lids.

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara "Extreme Black"
This mascara claims to make your lashes appear up to 117% longer in 30 days and look instantly 80% longer. I remember the first time when I tried this and it really did make my lashes appear longer. If you are looking for a mascara that lengthens, you might end up liking this but it doesn't give any volume. The wand is pretty much the same as the Mary Kay Ultimate mascara but it doesn't have as many bristles. This is also one of my favorite mascaras because it doesn't smudge and doesn't flake off either. The formula is a bit on the wetter side, so try not to sneeze rght after applying this. It happened to me once or twice and I had to start over. LOL

Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara
This was probably my second full size high-end mascara. I first bought it to try out since I loved the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! mascara so much. The packaging is pretty nice since its all wooden. The wand is pretty much the same as the other two lashes. I am guessing I love mascaras with that kind of brush shape. For me, this mascara doesn't lengthen that much unless I apply a couple of coats but the problem with this is that if you apply way too many coats, it starts to flake throughout the day. Whenever I use this mascara, I always make sure to apply only two coats and no more. I am not a big fan of this mascara since it doesn't give my lashes that wow factor. I will however, finish this one up and my back-up of it.

Too Faced LashGasm Mascara
The bristles on this wand are pretty small so you do have to be careful unless you want to poke your upper lashline. This mascara does give my lashes some length. I remember wanting to buy the full size of this mascara when I first tried it out a couple of times but after a while, the formula or consistency changed and its just okay now. It does give my lashes little length and the curl holds all day. It doesn't flake or smudge. Its not a bad mascara but I won't be buying the full size anytime soon.

Tarte Lash Primer
Tarte MultiEYE Lash Primer
These two are pretty much the same so I will just talk about them together. I actually love these. I use them with other mascaras too. These are great lash primers. I just apply one layer of the lash primer and then apply any other mascara over for extra length. I am glad that I have a couple of back-ups of these samples.

Lisa's Bronzer Collection (With Swatches)

Hey everyone! As always, I was cleaning out my makeup collection and reorganizing everything and decided to take out all my bronzers to show them off in a collection post. Yes, I do tend to reorganize my makeup collection a lot. It calms me down and plus I like looking at all the makeup. LOL If you are the same as me and tend to reorganize your makeup collection a lot, definitely let me know! I've had people ask me what are you doing because all they hear stuff moving around and when I tell them that I am reorganizing my makeup, they just say "seriously, again?" Haha! Yes again!

Anyways while reorganizing my makeup collection, I noticed that I had a couple of bronzers. Keep in mind that I am just going to be featuring the bronzers that I have opened and already used. I do have a couple other bronzers in my collection but those are brand new ones that are placed in a different drawer. I won't be opening those until I finish up a couple that I already have opened. The reason why I have it like that is because makeup starts to go bad when you open it and expose it to air (and of course to bacteria) so I try not to have a ton of products opened.

As you can see, I actually have a wide variety of bronzers with different finishes. In this post, I am just going to show the bronzers that I have really been liking and/or just using at this moment. Some of them are matte and some of them have tiny shimmers but no bronzers with glitters, thank goodness! For my bronzers, I like to either use them to contour with or as a powder all over the face (if I am really pale at the time LOL).

MY BRONZERS:
NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder "Sunny"
I really like this bronzer. I bought it mainly because of all the hype about in online from all the YouTube gurus and bloggers. I think Sunny is actually one of the most talked about drugstore bronzers. Its great for contouring your cheekbones, temple, and nose because its a matte bronzer. Plus its inexpensive and is priced under five dollars, what more can you ask for?
Physicians Formula Bronze Booster "Light/Medium"
I love this bronzer. Its actually one of my favorite bronzers in my collection. I think this is actually one of the very first bronzers that I bought when I started falling in love with makeup. Even though this bronzer does have a bit of shimmer in the pan, once applied on your face, it pretty much looks matte. I think this bronzer is around $12-$14 plus tax, depending on the store and region. I really like using this bronzer for contouring all year around and even lightly applying it all over my face like a setting powder in the summer to give my face that sun kissed glow.
Physicians Formula HealthyWear Bronzer "Tan"
This is not a favorite of mines. The reason why I don't really like it is because its so hard to get product onto the brush. The bronzer is so hard that it was actually a bit tough for me to get the swatch since I had to press down on it a lot. I am actually trying to finish this all up or at least the most of what I can because it has an expiration date. Mines actually expires December this year so hopefully I will hit pan on it soon. I don't know if this bronzer is discontinued because I bought mines at Big Lots for around $4 plus tax but if you know, definitely let me know.
ELF Studio Contouring Blush/Bronzing Powder
I think this is actually one of the very first ELF products that I bought. So far, they have came out with different shades and also a cream version of this. For some people, this is actually an inexpensive alternative to the NARS blush/bronzer duo. I wouldn't really call this a dupe for that but it is nice to have and I don't feel like I am missing out. I think this is actually nice to travel with because it has both a bronzer and blush in one compact. This bronzer is so pigmented that you only need to lightly tap your brush. Even though it does contain a bit of shimmer, its great for contouring.
Too Faced Bronzer "Sun Bunny"
This is a great bronzer. I like it because you pretty much get two bronzers in one. You can use each shade separately or use them together. I actually just swirl my brush in the whole pan because its a great bronzing shade for my skintone. I think that if you want that sun-kissed glow, you should definitely give this bronzer a try!
Tarte Mineral Bronzer "Park Ave Princess"
I actually have the mini size of this bronzer and another one in a Tarte holiday collection. I can't remember the name of the holiday set but the makeup came in a mirrored box that can be used as a jewelry box. I really like how the packaging of the mini size is the same to the full size bronzer. I rarely used this bronzer when I bought it but have been using it from time to time. Its a great bronzer for that "highly pearled golden tan," according to Sephora. It is a shimmery bronzer so I mostly use it as an all over setting powder to give my face a tan.

So those are all my bronzers that I have been currently using. I do have other bronzers in my collection that I have opened from Sephora and others from Physicians Formula but I mainly wanted to feature these because these are the ones that I have been using and because they are still in stores (meaning easy access to). All the bronzers that I have shown are products that you can purchase from your local drugstores and from Sephora or Ulta. If you have tried any of these bronzers, definitely let me know what your thoughts are about them! I would love to hear them. Plus let me know if you would like to see more posts like these with my blushes, powder foundations, etc. I would try doing one on eye shadows but I just think that will be too many swatches since the majority of my eye shadows are palettes.

QUESTIONS:
Have you tried any of these bronzers?
Which bronzer would you recommend?

Collection: Gel/Cream Liners

Hey everyone! Here is another post showing you guys parts of my collection. Last time, I showed you guys my Rimmel lipsticks collection and my concealer collection but this time, I am going to let you guys get a peek into my collection of gel/cream liners!! Yay! In case, you guys are wondering, I do have other liners like pencil liners and liquid liners but for this post, I am going to show you guys my gel/cream liners otherwise if I showed you all my liners together, it would just be one huge post and you would be here all day. LOL Keep in mind, these are just my opened gel/cream liners. I do have maybe 2 more but I haven't opened those so I am not going to feature them here and talk about them since I haven't tried them yet. This post will just feature the ones that I have opened and have been using.

Wet N Wild MegaLast Gel Eyeliner "886 Black"
I remember before I had bought this, so many people were raving about this but when I bought it and gave it a try, it sucked! I don't know why so many people like this liner because its just a horrible liner. I guess people like it because its creamy (at first) and its inexpensive but I would rather spend a couple dollars more for another liner than to buy this again. Within a week of opening this, it started drying up. Plus it flakes throughout the day, which I hate because it would leave little black flakes on my cheeks and some would get in my eyes. I just hate this eyeliner and would not recommend it at all. Definitely a miss!
To see my review on this, you can CLICK HERE.

Maybelline EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner "Sapphire"
I love this gel eyeliner! Its one of the best that I have tried and I will definitely be repurchasing this. Its so creamy and applies smoothly. Plus the best part is that it doesn't flake! This definitely stays on all day and it doesn't smudge. I have had this opened since April 2012 and its almost been almost a whole year yet it is still as creamy as when I first used it! If I can, I would be getting all the shades and adding them to my collection!
To see my review on this, you can CLICK HERE.

L'Oreal HiP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner "960 Eggplant"
I think this is actually discontinued but I think Big Lots might still sell it but I can't say for sure. This is actually a pretty good liner. It comes second to my Maybelline one. I am not going to talk about this one too much because it is discontinued so it will be hard to get your hands on. Lets just say that is is creamy and applies smoothly. If you would still like to see a review on this (with swatches), let me know!

So that is all for my gel/cream eyeliners collection! I hope that you guys liked it and that I provided enough information on each of the liners. Plus if you guys would like to know more, I did provide links to some of my reviews. As always, thank you for checking out my posts and I hope that you guys liked them! Plus definitely let me know if you guys have tried any of these liners and what you guys think about them. My Rimmel Lipsticks Collection (Plus Swatches)

Hey everyone! I just wanted to show you guys a review on some lipsticks (that I bought with my own money) in my collection. Recently, I've been reorganizing my makeup collection and thought that it was time to take pictures of my collection. I still don't know if I am going to be featuring them brand by brand or by product. I think for my lipsticks, I am going to do brand by brand and everything else will be by product like with my concealer collection. If you haven't seen my concealer collection yet, you can CLICK HERE. For this post, I am going to be talking about my Rimmel lipsticks. As you can see, I don't have that much. I only own five and none of them are from the new lines. The two that I have are from the lines: Rimmel Lasting Finish and the Rimmel Moisture Renew. The Moisture Renew ones are in the shiny purple packaging where the Lasting Finish lipsticks are in the dark packaging.

My favorite lipsticks from Rimmel would definitely have to be the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks, which is why I own more from that line. For me, they are actually more pigmented and creamy. I love how I only need one coat for it to be opaque on my lips. Plus they are very moisturizing on my lips. The only time where I wear a gloss with these is when my lips are a bit dry or when I don't feel like reapplying throughout the day.

The Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick shades that I have are:
  • Pink Blush
  • Celeb
  • Airy Fairy
  • Vintage
For me, these last a couple of hours on my lips but the moisture fades quicker than the color, which is why I prefer wearing a gloss with these. For instance, if you are eating and drinking, the color will fade a bit and your lips won't be as moisturized as they were when you first applied it. All the ones that I own, except for Vintage are creme finishes whereas Vintage contains finely milled purple shimmer. If you are not a fan of shimmer, I wouldn't recommend Vintage because the shimmer does stay a bit on your lips even after the color is wiped off completely. Also keep in mind that the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks that I have are in their old packaging. Rimmel recently changed the packaging to a dark color with silver in the middle of the tube with the words "Rimmel" on the silver.

I only have one from the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick line. These are moisturizing on the lips but I feel like they aren't as moisturizing as the Lasting Finish Lipsticks but keep in mind, I only own one so it might not be true for the other shades in this line. The one that I have is a gorgeous pink but I feel like its not as creamy as I would like.

Out of all of my Rimmel lipsticks, my favorite would have to be Celeb. Its just a gorgeous color and goes with pretty much any eye look that I create. Plus I feel like it really makes my lips pop. My lips are already a bit pigmented so this shade tends to show up more. So thats it for my Rimmel lipsticks collection. I hope you guys all liked it and as always, thanks for reading my blog!

QUESTIONS:
Have you ever tried Rimmel lipsticks?
If so, which shades do you own and love?
Which shade would you recommend?

My Concealer Collection

Hey everyone! A few days ago, I was going through my collection and cleaning some stuff out. While I was cleaning everything out and reorganizing, I thought that it would be a great thing to take pictures of my collection. These posts are only going to show the products that I have opened and am currently using. I won't be featuring any products that are new because I store those products somewhere else. All of concealers are products that I have bought within the last few months to last year. I don't like keeping old products. Once it starts smelling differently or the consistency changes, I throw it out. The only concealer that I have to throw out is the Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer because its no longer thick but now on the watery side. The product inside is already separating and going bad so after typing up this post, I am going to throw it out, which is such a waste since its like 98% full.

CONCEALERS IN MY COLLECTION:
CARGO OneBase Concealer + Foundation In One
This concealer is a deluxe size sample that I got for free last year from Sephora. Its a bit dark for my skin so I only tend to use it in the summer. It comes with a sponge-tip wand applicator. The formula is alright but I would repurchase the full size. I feel like this doesn't really cover as well as my other concealers and I have never tried it as a foundation before but I can't tell you guys if its any good as a foundation.

MAYBELLINE Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer "Buff"
I actually like using this for my under eye areas to the top of my cheekbones to give them a glow. I don't have any dark circles around my eyes so I don't know if this conceals well. The applicator is a brush wand and you have to twist the bottom for the product to come out. Besides the glow, I really like that its easy to blend out.

ALMAY Clear Complexion Concealer + Treatment Gel "Light/Medium"
I tend to use this concealer for my pimples because it contains 0.6% salicylic acid and its a concealer meant to heal acne. It does have a bad smell to it and I don't like using it for areas underneath my nose because I can smell it sometimes. If you are a person who is sensitive to smells, you might not like the smell of this. If you want to check out my review with swatches on this, you can CLICK HERE.

ELF STUDIO Concealer Pencil & Brush "Light"
I have been using this a lot in February because I broke out like crazy. It covers pretty well and doesn't irritate my pimples. It also comes with a brush, which I hardly use anymore. I just blend this out with my fingers. The only thing that I don't like about this concealer is that its not retractable so you have to sharpen it, which wastes a ton of product. Plus sometimes when I sharpen it, some of the wood gets mixed into the concealer and them you end up getting them on your face when you use it. If you would want to check out my review with swatches on this, you can CLICK HERE.

HARD CANDY Concealer Pencil "Light"
I haven't tried this out yet so I can't say anything about it. I might have to give it a try tomorrow to see how well it conceals. This came with the Glamoflauge concealer.

HARD CANDY Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer "Light"
This is definitely a thick concealer. You only need a little to cover all the imperfections on your face, like a tiny half pea size amount. I only used this a couple of times but am surprised with how bad it went so fast. If you buy this, make sure you use it up well because it might separate on you.

L'OREAL Infallible 16HR Concealer "682 Medium"
This is a concealer meant to cover up any dark circles but since I don't have any dark circles, I wouldn't really know if it covers well. I intentionally bought this to conceal my pimples but it didn't work well in that department. I have tried this for my under eye area and I don't like it at all. It makes your lines even more noticeable and doesn't blend into the skin well. I would not recommend this.

MAYBELLINE Dream Mousse Concealer "Light 4-5"
I love this for my under eye area and wish that Maybelline had never discontinued it. I remember when I found out, I bought so many back-ups and this is now my last one. Its still half way full because I have been using it sparingly. LOL

MAC Studio Finish Concealer SPF 35 "NW20"
This is my first MAC concealer and hopefully it won't be my last. I bought this mainly to cover up my blemishes but instead I love using it to brighten up my under eye area. Its not good on my pimples because it will emphasize all the dry patches around them but its perfect for the eye area. Its so creamy and easy to blend out.

BENEFIT Erase Paste "No.2"
I got this in a set last year. This was one of the first Benefit products that I have tried. I know that a lot of people really like this concealer for their under eye area but I just can't stand the consistency. Its just so thick that I feel like it just sits on my skin. I just don't like this at all.

So those are all my concealers! Keep in mind, I do have other concealers in my collection but I want to use these up first before I try out the others. Definitely let me know if you have any of these concealers in your collection and what you think of them. If you would like to see a more in-depth review on any of these concealers, please let me know but keep in mind that some of them I have already done reviews on them. And as always, thank you for taking the time to read my post and I hope it was helpful.

QUESTIONS:
Have you tried any of these concealers before?
What do you think about my collection of concealers?
