My Late Favorites 2013

Hey everyone! Sorry for these late favorites. I don't know why these just slipped my mind. Usually I am a few days late with my favorites post but I am never this much late. I have been so busy lately and with all my spotted posts that I have been trying to get up, I guess I just put my favorites posts on my back burner and just forgot about it. I wasn't sure if I was even going to be posting this favorites up but since I already took the pictures and edited them, I am definitely going to be sure to use them otherwise it would have been a waste of time. I am not going to be naming this favorites my June Favorites but these are actually my May 2013 Favorites. I think I am just going to skip my June Favorites or maybe combine them with my July Favorites. Let me know what you guys think. Would you guys still want me to do my June 2013 Favorites or just skip or combine it with my July 2013 Favorites post? Definitely let me know by commenting below!

FOUNDATIONS & CONCEALERS:
Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Foundation "150 Classic Ivory" & "255 Natural Buff"
I have really been liking this foundation, especially with the Beauty Blender. I actually bought two because one was way too light for me so I bought one a bit darker to mix together to get my actual skin tone color. I like wearing this foundation but not during those hot days because it will definitely not stay on that long, especially for those with oily skin.
The Original Beauty Blender
I love this and now definitely see what all the hype is all about! If you haven't tried this, definitely go out and get one (or two) for yourself. I have tried dupes in the past and the original is definitely where its all at. Its so soft and applies foundation on like a dream. I love using this with my Revlon ColorStay Whipped foundation and with my Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse foundation as well. I just wish that it didn't stain so quickly with foundation.
Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer "Light"
This is unfortunately my last back-up. I wish that Maybelline didn't discontinue this concealer because I love it for my under eye areas. It just brightens up my under ere area and makes me look more awake on those tired days where I just want to go back to sleep.

BLUSHES:
Maybelline ExpertWear Blush "20 Pinch O' Pink
I love blushes and if its a pink blush, I am going to love it more. This is actually one of my favorite pink shades and actually my second repurchase of this blush.
Philosophy The Color Of Grace "Beauty Is Art"
This is a light pink blush. Its actually blush with a highlighter or luminizer surrounding the pink blush but what I like to do is just use my brush and swirl it all around the compact. It just gives my cheeks this perfect pink shade and I always get compliments whenever I wear this blush.
NYC Blushable Creme Stick "645U Big Apple Blush"
I don't really use creme blushes that often but if I had to chose only one creme blush from my entire collection, this one would be it. Its the most pigmented creme blush in my entire collection, that I have tried so far. I love using this underneath my powder blushes to give my blushes that extra staying power. I am sad to say that these NYC blushable creme sticks are discontinued but I have heard that some have been spotting them off and on at the Dollar Tree.

EYES:
Revlon ColorStay Brow Enhancer "Light Brown"
I bought this at CVS from their clearance sale. There was only this shade and a blonde shade. Although this is a bit light for my brows, I love the concept of this and how easy it is to apply onto the brows. I would definitely love it more if they had a dark brown. Light Brown does have a bit of a red undertone to it so its not the perfect color for me but it does last all day on my brows.
Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Felt-Tip Eyeliner + Serum "Deep Brown"
I love this eyeliner and use it pretty much everyday. I don't really like using black eyeliner that much (unless I am wearing false lashes) but for everyday, natural eye looks I love this. I am still a liquid eyeliner beginner so this felt-tip applicator is great and easy for me to use. I don't know if it really helps my lashes grow but they do look a teeny bit longer when I have this eyeliner on.
Physicians Formula Eye Shadow Matte Collection "Canyon Classics"
This is one of my favorite quads. It contains all matte shadows. I have a review with swatches already so I am not going to go into detail about this. LOL If you want to see my review with swatches, please click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2012/08/reviewswatches-physicians-formula-matte.html
Revlon ColorStay Eye Shadow Quad "505 Decadent"
I remember when I first got this and didn't really like it but now this quad has been growing on me. Its not the most pigmented quad that I have tried but the reason why I have been liking this is because I like using it for creating soft neutral eye looks. Plus I think once you get past the top layer, the eye shadows are more soft to the touch and more pigmented. I just love the two shadows on the left because they are great all over the lid colors.

LIPS:
Nivea Lip Butter "Raspberry Rose Kiss"
This was actually my first lip butter and as you can see, I am almost done with it. Time for me to buy some more! LOL This just smells so good and is very moisturizing on the lips. I also have a review on this, if you want to check it out, you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/02/review-swatches-nivea-lip-butter.html
Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Tint "Perky"
This is actually my favorite shade out of all the Tarte jumbo lip pencils that I own. Its just a natural pink shade. I like the smell of these and the minty feeling that it gives my lips whenever I apply it. This is a great pink that goes with pretty much any eye look and is great for any day. Its very pigmented and isn't drying on the lips.
Wet N Wild MegaLast Lipstick "909D Coral-ine"
This was actually my first Wet N Wild MegaLast lipstick and because of it, I have already bought about 4-5 more from this line. I was never a fan of matte lipsticks because they are always so drying on my lips and I am a person who needs to apply lip balm every couple of hours. This is a matte that isn't drying on the lips and I love how long it lasts on my lips as well. If you are looking for a drugstore matte lipstick that isn't too drying, you should definitely give this line a try!

So that is all for my May 2013 favorites!! Like I said earlier, I am sorry that I am posting this up so late since it is already July 2013 but I wanted to get it up anyways since I had already edited the pictures and watermarked them. LOL Hopefully it was still helpful and I will try not to let this happen again. Review & Swatches: Nivea Lip Butter "Raspberry Rose Kiss"

Hey everyone! If you didn't know already, recently Nivea came out with some lip butters last month. I only bought one because they were fairly new and there wasn't any reviews on them yet. Now if you know me, I rarely buy products without checking the reviews and swatches. I have only bought three products this year without checking any reviews and they were the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation and pressed powder and this Nivea Lip Butter "Raspberry Rose Kiss". If you would like to check out my review with "demo" on the Revlon Nearly Naked line, you can CLICK HERE.

PACKAGING:
These Nivea Lip Butters come in tins. I actually like the size of these tins because its big enough to just apply straight to my lips from the tin. You could also apply this using your fingers but I wouldn't really recommend that since fingers can get dirty during the day and you wouldn't want to apply germs an bacteria onto your lips, which you might end up digesting. The tins are pretty sturdy. It has been in my purse everyday and never once has the top popped open.

FLAVORS:
So far, there are four flavors for these Nivea Lip Butters. The one that I purchased is Raspberry Rose Kiss. The other three are Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss, Caramel Cream Kiss, and Original.

WHERE:
So far, I have seen these at RiteAid and CVS. I think I saw these at Target and Walgreens too but I am not sure, so don't quote me on that.

PRICE:
I bought mines for $2.50 at CVS during a sale last month. These are regularly priced at $3.99 each but keep in mind, prices vary by stores and region.

RASPBERRY ROSE KISS:
I remember when I first opened this and held it up to my nose to smell it. Oh my goodness, it smelled so good! I really love the smell of this. It just so delicious that it makes me want to eat it but of course, I won't. LOL Keep in mind that after a couple of uses, the smell isn't as strong as when you first opened it. It still smells good but its very faint. When I first applied this onto my lips, it applied to smooth and was so creamy on. I love how it feels on my lips and it definitely does last a long time on the lips. It keeps my lips moisturized for hours, way better than using a lip balm throughout the day. Since I have been using this for a month, mines definitely has a huge dent in it because it so soft in texture, its so easy to make a dent with a press. When I bought this, I actually thought that it would leave a pink tint onto my lips because the packaging is pink and the actual product in the tin is pink as well but once its applied onto your lips, it just leaves a milky white tint onto your lips. I am not sure if you can see it in my swatches and on my lip swatches. Its not that noticeable but if you apply too much, it will definitely goop around your lips so be careful. I haven't tried the other flavors so I don't know if they are all the same.

OVERALL:
I love Raspberry Rose Kiss and actually plan on buying the other flavors and repurchasing this one. Since its been very cold lately and it recently hailed (yes hail) a few days ago, my lips have been on the dry side and this lip butter has actually kept my lips moisturized throughout the day and night. I always make sure to apply this before going to bed and when I wake up, my lips aren't as dry or cracked as they used to be prior purchase. The scent is delicious and the packaging is sturdy but I actually wish that Nivea would have these in tube packaging someday because I would actually buy those, especially if they don't change the formula when its repackaged. If you lips have been dry lately, then I would recommend these because they are so keep and moisturizing on the lips.

QUESTIONS:
Have you tried the Nivea Lip Butters?
Which flavor would you choose?

CVS Haul: Revlon Nearly Naked, Rimmel Clean Finish, & Nivea Lip Butter

Hey everyone! I am so excited to have gotten my hands on some new Revlon products. If you didn't know, last week, CVS had this awesome sale on the new Revlon Nearly Naked products!! They were on sale for $6.99 each and you get $2ECBs back (limit 6). Plus I had gotten a CVS coupon for $3 off $10 Revlon cosmetics purchase. For me, that was definitely a great deal. Since I was at CVS, I decided to check out the clearance sale going on right now. I always have to walk around the makeup aisles a couple of times to check any new products or to make sure that I don't forget to buy something. Anyways...

What I bought:
RIMMEL Clean Finish Foundation "240 Soft Beige"
This was on clearance for 50% off so I only bought it for $2.50 and I had $2.50ECBs from a previous purchase so I got this for FREE and only paid for tax!! Heck yeah! I have heard a couple of great reviews about this foundation so I am surprised that its on clearance. What makes this foundation really interesting is that it comes with a stick applicator inside so instead of having to pour out the product, you would just use the stick to get the foundation out.

REVLON Nearly Naked Foundation "150 Nude"
Oh my goodness! I am so happy to have gotten my hands on this new foundation. I was surprised that it was on sale so quickly. This was on sale for $6.99 (original price is around $9.99, depending on the store) but you get $2ECBs back and I had a CVS coupon, which made the deal even better. I only ended up paying $3.49 for this!! I have been trying this foundation out since I bought it and I have to say that I really like it. I already have a first impressions post coming up, so stay tuned for that. I just need to edit my pictures and type up the post. If you would like to see a more in-depth review as well, definitely let me know.

REVLON Nearly Naked Pressed Powder "010 Fair"
Usually when a new foundation comes out with a pressed powder, I don't ever buy the pressed powder that comes out with it but this time, it was an exception. LOL This was also on sale for $6.99 (original price is around $9.99, depending on the store) but you get $2ECBs back and I had a CVS coupon, which made the deal even better. I only ended up paying $3.49 for this as well. I have also been trying this pressed powder and I like it as well. I have been using this with the Nearly Naked liquid foundation as well as with my other liquid foundations. This product will also be featured in my first impressions post but I can do a separate post as well, if you guys want that instead. Just let me know!

NIVEA Lip Butter "Raspberry Rose Kiss"
These past two months, my lips have been super dry. When I wake up, my lip are dry to the point that they feel like they are going to crack, if I don't end up putting lip balm soon. Ouch! I have been on the search for the best lip balm or lip butter to make this annoying problem disappear. This is a new product that recently came out as well. It was on sale for $2.50 when I bought it. Hopefully this lip butter will work. There were also flavors on the display but I picked this one because I love berry scented products. I haven't given this a try yet but if you would like to see a review on it, let me know and I will start trying it out.

So those are all the products that I bought last week from CVS! I usually don't buy new products until I see a couple of reviews and swatches on these but these three products, I just couldn't wait, especially on the Revlon Nearly Naked products! I am surprised that I got such a great deal on all of these products, which is a bit rare for new products unless they are BOGO 50% sales.

QUESTIONS:
Have you tried out any of these new products yet?
Which product would you like to see a review on?

CVS Haul: FREE Nivea Plus MM, $0.49USD PF Matte Shadow, and FREE PF Lip Gloss

Hey everyone! Oh my goodness, this week at CVS is really good. Right now at CVS, they are having great sales on Physicians Formula cosmetics where everything regularly priced $7USD and over will be $7USD off. So for example, if your CVS store sells a PF concealer at $7.99USD then with the sale, the concealer will be $0.99USD plus tax!! Now that is definitely a great deal. I just bought two items for now because I wanted to see what other products were at the other CVS stores in my areas first. Plus there are 3 CVS stores near my area and all three have different prices and I couldn't remember which one had the cheaper pricing.

PF pH MatchMaker pH Powered Lip Gloss @ $2.99USD plus tax
(REG. PRICE $9.99USD)
Pay $2.99USD plus tax but there was a coupon on the product for $3USD off, so I got this for FREE and just paid tax

PF Matte Collection Quad Eye Shadow @ $0.49USD plus tax
(REG. PRICE $7.49USD)
Pay $0.49USD plus tax!!

Now that my friend is definitely a great deal. Paying only $0.49USD plus tax for matte shadows! That is a fantastic deal, especially for one who is trying to expand their matte shadow collection. Plus paying $0.49USD plus tax for one item when regular price, it would be over $8USD plus tax is definitely great for those who are on a budget or just want to try new products.

Also, one really big deal at CVS right now is on the Nivea travel tins! Right now, they are buy 1 at $0.99USD plus tax, get back $2ECBs so that is definitely a MM (moneymaker) deal. The limit is 4 per household card. If you can't find the regular blue tins, then the deal also works on the white tins as well, which are the Nivea Soft. I bought four in all one transaction and got my ECBs back. YAY! It was pretty much like CVS paid me in ECBs to buy these from them.

Buy (4) Nivea Creme tins or Nivea Soft tins @ $0.99USD plus tax (limit 4 per household card)
Pay $3.96USD plus tax, get back $8ECBs!! Total MM deal (moneymaker)!!

So that is all for my CVS haul. I definitely know for sure that I am gonna go back and buy some more PF products, especially with this great deal. Plus if you buy $30USD worth of PF cosmetics, you can get a $10 gas card back. I am not sure if I am going to buy that much but the deal would have been better if I had those $1USD off any PF cosmetics coupon from the Sunday newspaper because I would have saved more money with some of those. So if you haven't hit up your CVS store yet, definitely do so before CVS changes the Nivea deal. LOL

QUESTIONS:
Are you going to take advantag of both the Nivea and PF deal?

Target Haul (Last of 2011)

Hey everyone! Guess what? I went to Target for the last time of the year. Lets just say that it was such a freaking hassle. I went there in the sole purpose to look for the new products from both Maybelline and L'Oreal, like the Dream Bouncy Blushes and the Cream Shadows. In addition for the Revlon Lip Butters but I was out of luck. The Target store in my area didn't have either. The display for the lip butters were empty except for the ones that were already opened and swatched. Plus I went there to use up a couple of coupons that were going to expire. I had such a hassle with the coupons. Plus they were Target coupons. A tip for everyone who uses Target coupons (the ones that Target mails to us in those catalogs and brochures), go a day before the expiration date stated on the coupon. I wanted to use a couple of Target coupons that were expiring on 12.31.11 and they wouldn't let me because they kept saying that the coupons were expired. I don't know how they could be expired when I went on 12.31.11 and they made it such a hassle that I left all the products that I wanted to buy with the coupons back and didn't end up buying them. Has anyone had that problem with Target coupons before? Please let me know...

Okay, enough with my rant. LOL I only bought a couple of stuff. I bought clothes as well but I didn't think I could post them here since there is a Fashion place on Luuux. So for right now, I'll just post my Health & Beauty products. I finally gave in to the temptation and bought me some Maybelline Baby Lips. I have been seeing so many hauls and reviews on these Baby Lips that I thought it was finally time to try some out. Plus the display at Target has these two left, so I figured it was meant to be. I also got some other products that I got for free with my coupons.

What I bought:
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
These were a special value set. It comes with a 21ct. plus a bonus of 7ct. makeup remover cleansing towelettes. I was going to buy these because I already have a stock pile of ELF Studio Makeup Remover Cloths but these were on clearance and I have always been interested in trying these out. There were $4.12USD plus tax, which I thought was a pretty good deal.
Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover (x2)
These were also a special value kit. They are 2ct. full size bottles. These were also on clearance. These were a really great deal because just one bottle of this is around $6USD and I got 2 bottles for just $5.58USD plus tax!! I never tried these before. I have tried the Up&Up brand (which is a brand by Target) and I really like that one. Plus those two are exactly the same thing, made with the same exact ingredients!! I was going to buy an extra of the Up&Up one because mines is running low but when I saw these, I got these instead.

Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Calming Creme Daily Moisturizer (x2)
I had two coupons for these so I basically got these for free! I just had to pay tax for them. I thought these would be great to just either put in my car or in my purse.
Nivea Creme (x2)
I also got these for free with coupons. I heard that these are great to use as face moisturizer. I haven't tried them yet. I love how small and compact these are. These are going to be great to put in my purse and/or on vacations.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss
Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched
These two were the last ones in the display. I haven't tried them out yet. Right now, I am just trying out my EOS lip balms and I have got to say that I am really liking them right now. It does feel weird though using a round ball shape lip balm to the usual small tube of lip balm. LOL

Well I hope you all liked my little haul! It would have been a little bit bigger if I didn't have such a problem with the Target coupons. If you have ever had that problem, please let me know! Also if you guys have ever tried any of the products, featured in this haul, please let me know whether you like them or not.
