Influenster VoxBox Unboxing

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that this is not a sponsored post. I am not getting paid to film and post this video or blogpost. I am affiliated with Influenster and therefore get free products to try and review. If you are interesting in joining Influenster, feel free to use my invite: www.influenster.com/r/14811 I hope you guys liked watching my video and please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and LIKE the video after watching! I would really appreciate it!

So far I have already tried a few of the products that I featured in this post and I am loving them! I will list all the products that came in my Frosty VoxBox with their description. For the products that I have tried, I will include a mini review underneath the description. If you guys have tried any of these products, please definitely comment below and let me know because I would love to read your thoughts.

Products in my Frosty VoxBox:
No7 Protect & Perfect ADVANCED Sachet $22.99
This clinically proven serum is even more effective at reducing the appearance of fine lines for younger looking skin in just two weeks.

NYC Expert Last Lip Color "Sugar Plum" $1.99
Ready to take your lips to the next level? Try our NEW Expert Last Lip Color in twenty tantalizing shades. Get intense, amplified color and shine that lasts up to six hours! Our moisturizing formula glides on easily for a silky, smooth, velvety finish for all day wear.
Review: This lipstick is not at all drying on the lips. I love the scent because it doesn't have that typical lipstick smell. I can't say for sure that the lipstick lasts six hours because it didn't last that long for me but other than that, I love the color.

EcoTools Hair Brush $10.99
EcoTools hair brushes are designed with unique features that leave your head and hair happy and healthy. Long or short, straight or curly. EcoTools has the brush to tame any hair style with a variety of five brush head shapes and bristle designs specially crafted to suit every need.
Review: I love this paddle brush for my long hair. It doesn't pull out my hair and it is so easy to clean because of the bristles being spread apart.

Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover $7.49
Gently removes all eye makeup, including long lasting and waterproof makeup, with no oily residue.

Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner $4.49
Gives instant colour impact with its high intensity pigments. The ultra smooth and creamy formula glides on easily.
Review: These Rimmel eyeliners are so creamy and pigmented. These are really great drugstore eyeliners and probably comparable to some high end eyeliners like Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners. If you are looking for a creamy eyeliner that won't hurt your waterline then this is the one for you.

McCormick Gourmet Thyme $4.79
The freshest flavors deserve a fresh new look! McCormick Gourmet's Thyme imparts a light minty flavor that is distinctively arm and aromatic. McCormick Gourmet Thyme can be used throughout the day in dishes such as breakfast casseroles, hearty soups, stews, stuffing, and oven-roasted chicken.

Fruit Vines Bites $1.28-$1.79
Fruit Vines Bites are a new, soft, chewy fruit candy, from the Red Vines family, available in two fruit flavors - strawberry and cherry. Low ft and made with no preservatives, Fruit Vines Bites are available in three sizes: a 2oz single serve, a 5oz hanging bag, and a 10oz resealable stand-up bag and can be found at Walmart in the West, Kroger, Walgreens, Target, Safeway and Rite Aid.
Review: These are so freaking delicious and you can see how much I loves these in my video. They are so addicting and the fact that they are bite size makes them even more easy to munch on. If you love fruit snacks, then you should definitely try these.

Anyways, thank you for reading and I am sorry that I didn't include any pictures in my blog post. I am having some problems with my phone camera but if you guys want pictures, just comment below and I can borrow my mom's phone to take pictures of each item.

Luster NOW! Instant Whitening Toothpaste

Hey everyone! I wanted to do a review real quick on a product that I recently received in my Something Blue VoxBox from Influenster. I actually received the Luster NOW! Instant Whitening Toothpaste complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster. I have been using this product for probably about two weeks now and thought that it was finally time to do a review on it. According to the information card, provided in the Something Blue voxbox, you can "enjoy instantly whiter teeth with Luster NOW! Instant Whitening Toothpaste. Its propriety Bluverite technology creates the optical effect of instantly whiter teeth, with results that last for hours."

WHAT IT IS (taken from the Luster Premium White website):
Brush with NOW! Toothpaste for an instantly whiter smile:
✦ Instantly whitens teeth after just one brushing
✦ Contains Bluverite™, a propriety formula that creates the optical effect of whiter teeth
✦  Removes surface stains with daily use
✦ Gentle on teeth and safe for dental restorations
✦ Perfect for when your smile needs an instant boost

INGREDIENTS (taken from the packaging):
Sorbitol, Silica, Water, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, PVM/MA Copolymer, Flavor, Sodium Phosphate, Cellulose Gum, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Acesulfame, Titanium Dioxide, Xanthan Gum, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Menthol, FD&C Blue No. 1

PRICE:
The suggested retail for the Luster NOW! Instant Whitening Toothpaste is $7.99 plus tax but keep in mind that prices may vary depending on stores and region.

WHERE:
You can purchase the Luster Now! Instant Whitening Toothpaste at many stores. You can find it at drugstore like CVS, RiteAid, Duane Reade, Walgreens, and so on. It is also sold at mass merchandisers like Kmart, WalMart, Meijer, and Fred Meyer. It is sold at supermarkets as well like Albertsons, Kroger, Winn Dixie, and much more.
For more stores in the States, you can click here: http://www.lusterpremiumwhite.com/us-stores/
For more stores in Canada, you can click here: http://www.lusterpremiumwhite.com/canadian-stores

THOUGHTS:
When I opened the voxbox and saw this instant whitening toothpaste, I was excited to try it. I love trying out new whitening toothpastes and seeing which ones at the store really work and whiten your teeth. I have tried many toothpastes and none of them really whiten my teeth. Plus none of them claim to give you "whiter teeth after one brushing" so I was definitely intrigued by this. I never tried anything from this brand before or seen it but you think with the red packaging, it would have caught my eyes but I don't know why I haven't seen this sooner.

I tried it right away and was a bit sad that my teeth weren't whiter after one brushing, like it claims to do. I do think that if you already had white teeth then this would give your teeth an extra boost. After a couple of uses, I did notice that my teeth were getting lighter in color and I think that after constant use, my teeth will probably be white as heck. If you like getting a minty feeling after brushing your teeth, you might not like this one since it doesn't make your breath minty fresh. Plus I really like that it won Breakthrough Award for Allure 2011 because that is definitely a big deal. So far, I am really liking the toothpaste and definitely see myself finishing it all up.

Q-tips® Precision Tips

Hey everyone! Recently I got two packs of Q-tips Precision Tips complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster. They were in the Influenster "Something Blue" VoxBox, which I actually just got a couple of days ago. I have already been testing some of the products and one of the products that I wanted to get up real fast were these Q-tips Precision Tips. I have really been loving these and love it that Q-tips finally came out with these. According to the packaging, these "QTips Precision Tips are the Ultimate Home and Beauty Tool specially designed for touch-ups and getting into smaller spaces. Made with tapered tips are both ends, 100% cotton, and a gently flexible stick, Precision Tips are perfect for a variety of uses."

Since I love these so much and have been using them everyday since I got these in the mail, I wanted to make a blog post of these Q-Tips Precision Tips. What is different about these compared to your usual Q-tips is that these have pointed tips at both ends. The pointed tips make it easy to reach small areas and are ideal for precise application. You can use these precision tips for so many different things. You can use these for:
◊ Cleaning up any under eye smudges from your lower lash mascara
◊ Cleaning up any mistakes from applying mascara
◊ Applying concealer onto any blemishes by spot concealing

There are so many things that you can use these for. I can't name them all but I am sure once I get this post up, I will probably end up finding more new ways to use these. Different ways can be by:
◊ Applying highlighter onto your cupid's bow
◊ Fixing your brows from any application mistakes
◊ Fixing any bleeding from your lipstick
◊ Touching up your eye liner
◊ Applying highlighter onto the inner corner of your eyes
◊ Cleaning up messy manicures
◊ Cleaning up any goops in your inner corner of your eyes

Those are all the things that I can think of now but as you can see, there are so many uses for these Q-tips Precision Tips! What I really like is that these are so portable because they came in durable plastic case. You can just chuck these in your purse, luggage, or car and the cotton swabs will stay clean. Whenever you need one, just pop open the container and take one out to use. These are great for on the go touch-ups like a night out on the town. Plus when you run out, you can just refill it by buying a big pack or just buy a whole another one. These retail for around $2.59 to $3.35 plus tax, depending on the store.

If you haven't tried these yet, I highly suggest you go out and give these a try. You will seriously love these over your typical round cotton swabs. They are great for cleaning up any makeup mistakes. I definitely reccomend these! Please let me know if you know any other ways to use these precision tips. Plus I would love to know if you would like me to do a video on these, showing all these steps.

If you want to find out more about these Q-tips Precision Tips (like where to find these and what other products they offer), you can check out their official website: http://www.qtips.com/

Influenster Something Blue VoxBox

Hey everyone! Guess what I just got in the mail today! I actually just got it a couple of minutes and instantly went to my room to take pictures of everything. I received this voxbox from Influenster for free to review. I also filmed my FIRST YouTube video so please feel free to check it out whenever you have time. Keep in mind, its my first video ever so please be nice. LOL The video will just show me unboxing the voxbox and talking about the products. If you want to see that video, you can CLICK HERE. Also please make sure to subscribe and like! I also included the video

WHAT WAS INSIDE THE "SOMETHING BLUE" VOXBOX:
Q-TIPS Precision Tips
These retail around $2.59 to $3.35 depending on your store. These aren't your usual cotton swabs because the tips are precisely pointed at the tip. I actually love using these for cleaning up the under-eye area for any smudges and for fixing my eyeliner. Plus its great to clean up any mistakes you might get from applying mascara. On the info card, it says that you can also use these to apply concealer and to perfect your manicure. I like how these come in their own container, making it great for traveling. Plus whenever you run out, you can just refill them and keep the container.

Kiss everEZlashes "01 & 03"
These retail for $4.98 for a duo pack. I was actually surprised that I got two sets but glad that I get the opportunity to try out two different styles. Both pack comes with a lash applicator to make it easy to apply your false lashes. I really like how full and wispy they look. Plus they look very natural. I can't wait to try these out soon.

Dr. Scholl's For Her Ball of Foot Cushions
These retail for around $6.99 depending on your store. I have tried other Dr. Scholl's For Her products before and I love them. I tried these Ball of Foot cushions before and I love them with my heels. They make wearing heels so comfortable. If I can buy all of these for each pair of my heels, I definitely would. They make wearing heels comfortable all day. If you haven't tried these before, I highly recommend these. Dr. Scholl's also has foot cushions for different types of shoes as well, like for sneakers, flats, and etc.

Urgent Rx Fast Powders Ache & Pain Relief To-Go
These retail for $1.39 for one packet. The packets are the same size as a credit card, making it great to bring with you during the day or for any travels. I never heard of this brand before so I don't know if its a new brand. These claim to be fast-acting and what makes it really interesting is that you don't need any water with these powders. I actually got the lemon-lime flavor but I am curious about the other flavors. If you have heard of this brand before or tried these packets, please comment below telling me your thoughts.

Luster NOW! Instant Whitening Toothpaste
I am actually really excited to try this the most out of everything. This retails for around $7.99 plus tax. It claims to give you whiter teeth after one brushing!! Plus it won the Breakthrough Award from Allure in 2011. I actually haven't seen this product before at any of my stores so I am assuming that not all stores sell this brand. It also features bluverite technology, which creates the optical effect of instantly whiter teeth that lasts for hours.

MyTrio Rings Brochure
When I read the Influenster info card provided first before looking at all the products, I actually thought there was going to be a ring set in the voxbox. I never heard of MyTrio before so I thought it was like a inexpensive brand with quality similar to H&M and F21 jewelry so I was so excited to be getting rings but nope. LOL It just came with a brochure showing their rings. If you are shopping for engagement rings and/or wedding bands, you could try MyTrio since they offer jewelry for 65% off retails store prices.

So those are all the products that I received for testing purposes from Influenster! I am actually excited to try out all these products, especially the toothpaste and the Kiss lashes. I actually think this is a great voxbox for brides and brides to be. Plus its great for bridesmaids as well. Let me know if there are any products that you have tried already and/or if you would like to see a review on any of these. Plus I would love to know if you received this voxbox as well. Also don't forget to check out my unboxing video as well. Its my first video so please nice comments only. LOL

Review: Ivory 2-IN-1 Hair & Body Wash

Hey everyone! I just want to do a quick review on a product that I recently received for review purposes from Infuenster. I am not getting paid to do this review and all opinions are my honest thoughts. I actually got this product about two weeks ago and have been using it since for review purposes. Let me just say that when I opened the box, the first thought that came into my mind was, oh my goodness the bottle is freaking huge! Its definitely going to last my family and I a while before we even make a dent in it.

According to Ivory, "Ivory 2-IN-1 cleans head to toe while leaving hair conditioned. Say goodbye to the 3-step hassle of applying shampoo, conditioner and then body wash--Ivory Hair & body simplifies the showering experience, making it perfect for the whole family."

Taken from the information card provided,
"Product Highlights:
◊ Total body cleanser that leaves hair clean (down to the roots) and conditioned
◊ Free of dyes and heavy perfumes
◊ Saves shower space with one bottle
◊ 33% MORE vs. the leading 2-IN-1 brand (24oz vs. 18oz), without breaking the bank
◊ Not watered down--doesn't easily seep through your hands or into eyes"

For me after using this, I always felt the need to use a separate conditioner. It didn't leave my hair extra dry but I felt like my hair still needed that extra step. I think this might be a good product for a guy since guys don't usually use conditioner (well the ones that I know). They just use shampoo and body wash. The scent makes it a great product for both females and males to use this. Its a nice clean scent and it isn't overpowering. Its a great scent for the whole family.

It does lather up pretty good. I didn't need to much product for my hair and/or for my body. It keeps my scalp pretty clean and I feel like I don't even need to wash my hair for about three days. Usually I wash my hair every other day but I wanted to see how long my hair can last without washing by trying out this product. But keep in mind, my hair doesn't get oily that much. The only con that I can say about this is that if it gets in your eyes, it can sting a bit. I accidently got some in my eye and lets say, I didn't like it. I wouldn't reccomend this for babies for that fact. Other than that, I really like this product and I even purchase a bottle in the future.

Review: Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin

Hey everyone! If you didn't know already, I recently recieved a couple of products to try out and review in my Beauty Blogger 2012 VoxBox. One of the products was the Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin. I have been trying out this product a few times since I received it in my VoxBox and thought that it was time to give you guys some of my thoughts. If you didn't know already, this product came out maybe last year or in the beginning of this year. I can't remember but ever since it made its way to the stores, I have always been curious about it.

I have always used bobby pins for everything, whether its for holding my side bangs back or to pin back the ends in my bun, they have definitely become my staple hair product. I have bobby pins everywhere-in my room, my bathroom, my living room, my purse, and in my car. I have definitely lost some and always end up buying more and more. So when I found out that Goody released a nw hair product that claimed to style a bun without the use of any bobby pins, I was tempted to try it out.

Now the only thing that held me back from purchasing it was the price tag. These Goody Simple Styles Spin Pins retail for $7.29 for a pack of two pins. In my opinion, that is pretty pricey for two pins but I can see why the price on these are a bit higher than bobby pins because these spin pins claim to do the work of twenty bobby pins when styling a bun. Plus they come available in two colors: for light hair and for dark hair. I got the one for light hair to review even though I have dark hair but thats fine because once these spin pins are in your hair, you can't really tell the difference.

What I like about these spin pins is that you can use them to do three different updos. Plus there is also instructions inside the package to show you how to achieve them with pictures. The instructions show you how to style your hair into a soft bun, side bun, and a double bun. I have only tried the soft bun because if you know me, you would know that I am no expert at stylying my hair or anybodys' hair in fact. LOL So if you are a newbie like me, the instructions will probably come in handy. Plus there are also videos online that can show you step-by-step to create these looks using the spin pins!

Okay, onto the review. I have to admit that the first time I tried these spin bins, I was having a hard time in creating the perfect bun. LOL I even took a picture of my first time using them to show you guys how much trouble I was having. My bun came out and was looking like an elephants trunk with all my ends coming out. Plus if you look closely, you can see a yellowish-gold piece, which is part of the spin pin in my hair.

I read online that these spin pins do take practice and I am not the only person to have a hard first time using them. Thank goodness! After a few tries, I am getting better at using these for the soft bun. Once I get more useful with these, I am definitely looking forward to trying out the double bun! I would definitely recommend trying these out, especially if they are on sale. I think these are great if you wear your hair in a bun to work on a daily basis. They will definitely hold up your hair, if you place them right.

QUESTIONS:
Have you tried these Goody Simply Styles Spin Pins?
Do you wear your hair in a bun?
Do you use bobby pins?

Review: KISS Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit "05"

Hey everyone! If you didn't know already, I recently recieved a couple of products to try out and review in my Beauty Blogger 2012 VoxBox. One of the products was the KISS Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit "05". I just had the chance to try this starter kit out yesterday and thought that it was finally time to post up a review. If you didn't know already, I love false lashes! I have a collection of them. If you would like to see my collection, definitely comment below to let me know! First off before I start this review, I just want to stay that this is the first time that I had ever tried KISS lashes and my first pair of 100% human hair. Recently, KISS came out with a starter kit that includes a pair of lashes, lash applicator, and lash adhesive that retails for $5.99 plus tax.

For this review, I am going to talk about all the products that come in this starter kit individually. First, lets talk about the lashes. In this box, these lashes look gorgeous and full. I was so happy that I received these lashes and loved how they looked on the model on the back of the packaging. These lashes are 100% human hair, which was another reason why I was so happy. I have always wanted to try a pair of lashes that were made out of 100% human hair but could never justify paying $6 to $20 for a pair to try. For instance, my current favorite lashes are from Model21 and they come in a box with 10 pairs of lashes for $3-$6, depending on where you buy them. Even though the lashes are 100% human hair, to me they feel like they are made out of plastic. I don't have any other lashes to compare them to so I don't really know if all human hair lashes have that feeling. Okay, when I first tried these lashes, I was so disappointed. I don't know if its because its made out of human hair but it just weighed down my lashes. I tried curling both my lashes and the falsies but they would just go straight down. These were just horrible.

Now for the lash adhesive. Oh my goodness, I thought that this lash adhesive was going to be like the Revlon Lash Adhesive because on the outside, the packaging looks pretty similar. I have heard so many great reviews on the Revlon Lash Adhesive and have always wanted to try it out but could never find it so I was pretty excited to get the Kiss one. First off, this Kiss lash adhesive is so different. The Revlon one comes with a brush but instead of the brush, the Kiss one just has a plastic stick. Because of the plastic stick, it makes it so hard to get glue onto the lash band. The plastic stick is so stiff that I wish that Kiss had replaced it with a brush instead. It would have probably made the application easier. This lash glue claims to be 24 hour hold but I disagree. It could have been because of the lashes but when I applied the glue onto the lashs, since the falsies weighed down my actual lashes, the glue didn't hold at all. If I had worn them all day, the lashes would definitely have fallen off on their own. I am going to try this lash adhesive on my other lashes but with these Kiss lashes, they just didn't work well together.

Last but not least is the lash applicator. I always apply my falsies by hand. I know some people use lash applicators or regular tweezers but I have better luck with my fingers. I have to admit that I did have trouble applying the false lashes with this. I was just not used to it and it was just too hard for me. I have tried other lash applicators before like the one from ELF, which I also had trouble with. LOL I have heard good things about the Kiss lash applicator so I am not going to go into huge detail with this since I had trouble using this. It might just be because I am not used to it. If you have tried this lash applicator, please let me know how you feel about it.

Overall, I don't really like this starter kit. The lashes just weren't for me and the lash glue just didn't go well with them. I will try to give the lash glue another chance and try them with another pair of my lashes. If you would like to see a more in-depth review and know if I ended up liking the lash glue, definitely let me know. For the actual lashes, I won't be trying them again. I might just clean off the glue and give them to my sister to try out. I am not sure if I would reccommend these since to me, lashes are like mascaras and they might not work on everybody. It just depends on your natural lashes, the glue that you used, and which styles you are used to wearing.

Have you tried the Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit?
What do you think of Kiss lashes?

Review: Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream

Hey everyone! Sorry about not posting as much these past few weeks. I have been busy and just didn't have time but I promise to do better. I wish I could have a post up everyday or be like some people and have like five posts a day. I think I used to do that before when I first started but now I have just been procrasinating and all my to-do posts have been piling up. Since I haven't been hauling makeup that much lately, I don't have any haul posts to blog about so I thought that in the meantime, I will just post up the reviews that I have been wanting to do.

One review that I have been meaning to do is on the Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream. If you didn't know already, I was lucky enough to receive a few products to review from Influenster. If you haven't signed up for Influenster yet, you definitely should because its a great way to get the chance to try out new products that you haven't tried yet and review them. All you have to do is complete some badges and increase your influenster score to qualify for their voxboxes.

Okay onto the review! I actually got the travel size version to review, which is fine because it comes with a ton of product and will definitely last me a while. This hair cream is great for those who have frizz. I don't really have that much frizz but my hair does tend to get frizzy on the top of my head whenever I blow-dry my hair. I have tried a couple of products and there are some that I would recommend and there are some that I would never buy again.

WHAT:
From the NYM's website, "Got frizz? Straighten up and tame that mane... or whatever you call it. SMOOTH MOVES is your call to fighting out of control hair and will help reduce your styling time. Infused with natural coconut and silk extracts this salon formul will keep you and yout hair thinking straight all day."

HOW:
From the NYM's website, "Wash and towel dry hair. Apply a small amount in palms and work into your hair. Distribute evenly with a comb then blow-dry or air dry to reveal straight, frizz-free hair with superior shine."

PRICE:
This sample comes with 44mL (1.5 fl. oz) and the full size product comes with 4oz of product. The full size retails for $6.00 plus tax but prices may vary depending on the store and region. They also have the travel size, which is what I have for sale too but I don't know how much it retails for.

SCENT:
Oh my goodness, this hair cream smells so yummy! If you are a fan of coconut scents, then you would definitely love the smell of this. I don't love eating coconut but for some reason, I love it whenever the scent is in hair products! Whenever I use this, my hair smells so good throughout the day. I even have gotten compliments on how good my hair smells.

THOUGHT:
I have been using this product everytime I wash my hair and I can honestly say that I love it. This hair cream makes my hair so smooth and shiny whenever I use this. It makes my hair smell so good that sometimes I would catch myself lefting some pieces of my hair to my nose to smell it. I would suggest going to the store to smell this product but they have safety seals on them, which is great because then you know that nobody had tampered with the product. I would just use a little of this and work it into my scalp because thats where I would get frizzy and this product really does help with that. It minimizes the frizz and keeps my hair tame throughout the day. Plus it doesn't weigh down my hair, which is a plus because I definitely need all the volume that I can get. It also doesn't make my scalp oily. I could definitely see myself purchasing this product when I run out of the travel size. If you have any frizzy hair, I would recommend this product. If you don't want to shell out $6 for a full size, you can buy the travel size version to try out first.
