Sallys Beauty Haul (Again!)

Hey everyone! I have been meaning to post up this haul for a while now but I just never had the time to edit the pictures with my watermark. Let me just say, that editing pictures takes a long time, especially if you plan on posting everyday. LOL Oh well, I love it either way an have a fun time typing everything up and looking at the pictures. I actually bought all these products when Sallys Beauty had their sale where all their red tags were an additional 50% off. I went two times and already posted my first haul. I went to two different Sallys Beauty stores and this haul is from the one that is in my area.

WHAT I BOUGHT:
◊ Seche Benefiting Susan G. Komen For The Cure Support Awareness Set
I actually bought their other set last year as well and it came with a different pink polish so when I saw this, I knew that I had to pick it up. Its such a great deal, especially when you don't want to pay full price for a Seche Vite top coat. With this set, you get two full size bottles!! Plus you get this really cute key chain. I got one in last years set as well but it actually broke on my key ring so I am glad to have another. This set comes with China Glaze "Naked" and Seche Vite top coat. I am not sure how much this set cost when it first came out but I paid under $4 for this set! I am so happy to have another back-up of this top coat and another gorgeous pink polish in my collection!

◊ Ardell Natural False Lashes "Luckies"
If you've seen my false lases collection, then you would already know that I definitely don't need anymore false lashes. LOL I am not sure if I posted pictures of my lash collection yet, but if I haven't and you guys want to see it, just comment below to let me know! I don't know why I bought these but when I saw them, I wanted to try them out. They look like they would be great for natural eye looks. I like how they come to a point instead of flaring out. I don't have any lashes like these so I am definitely excited to try these out!!

◊ nuNAAT Silicone Hair Conditioning Mask
I have never heard of this brand or seen it but I mainly got it for my sister. She dyes her hair all the time (sometimes the next day after a hair dry, even though I warn her not too but she never listens) and because of that, her hair has become dry. Her hair is so damaged that she is always asking me fr products to try out. I bought this mainly for her since it says that it helps get rid to dry hair by putting moisture back into the roots. She only used it once and haven't used it again. She is just so lazy to take care of her hair so this has just been sitting on the bathroom counter since I bought it. I will probably give it a try sometime since I wouldn't want it to go to waste. If you have tried this before, definitely let me know what you think about it.

Sally's Beauty Haul (Feat. Nail Polishes & Face Brush)

Hey everyone! I thought that it was finally time to show you guys my haul from Sally's Beauty store. I haven't been there in such a long time and rarely go there because I usually would just go to warehouse nail stores since I could get name brand polishes for a couple dollar cheaper. This haul was done a few weeks ago, during President's Day when Sally's Beauty was having a sale where everything with a red tag is additional 50% off!! That is usually the only time where I go shopping there because you can get polishes for such great prices. I only picked out a couple of items because I arrived late into the sale and most of the containers were empty or picked through heavily. These are all the items that I bought:

◊ FINGER PAINTS "Sparkle Top Coat" LOL When I bought this, I didn't know that it was a top coat. I thought that it was just pretty and that I wanted it. This is my first Finger Paints polish so hopefully I will end up liking it. This also reminds me of my China Glaze "Luxe And Lush" polish, which was in the Hunger Games collection. I didn't realize it until I got home and was looking through my collection. They both look pretty much the same but "Luxe And Lush" has flakes where as "Sparkle Top Coat" has bar glitters. I'm thinking of doing a comparison post but am not sure. If you would like to see one, please let me know.

◊ CHINA GLAZE Makin' Memories Set This set came out in December 2012 so I was surprised that my Sally's still had it but nonetheless, I was happy because I got such a great deal on it. It comes with two China Glaze polishes: 1115 Winter Holly and 1111 Red Satin. Red Satin is a gorgeous red with a blue base. It takes two coats to make it opaque. Winter Holly has got to be one of my favorite greens. It is a green polish with gold glitter. The set also includes a mini picture frame. I thought it was so cute because it was shaped into the word, Joy. Plus it had a picture of a dog wearing a Santa hat so that helped sold it. LOL I gave the picture frame to my little brother since that was the only way that he was letting me buy these polishes since he made a promise to help me stop buying nail polishes. Haha! Our little secret deal. Shh...

◊ FACE SECRETS Face Brush This reminded me so much of the ones from Sephora but I got mines for under a dollar because of the sale. I did buy one from Sephora last year but the bristles were starting to get dirty so I thought that it was time to get another one. Hopefully the bristles are sturdy and won't shred when I wash it.

So those are all the items that I bought from Sally's Beauty. I actually can't wait for the next time they have this sale again because I love getting polishes for such great prices. If you would like to see more information on any of these products, please let me know. As with everything, I hope you all enjoyed reading my posts!!

Have you ever been to Sally's Beauty before?
What do you think of the polishes that I bought?
Have you ever tried a face brush?

Swatches: China Glaze For Audrey

Hey everyone! If you had seen my previous NATMs, then you would know that I wore both China Glaze "For Audrey" and "Luxe And Lush" on my nails when I went to go watch Hunger Games. Since I wasn't sure about the nail look, I decided to paint my nails with For Audrey again since it is such a beautiful shade. If you didn't know already, For Audrey is basically a dupe to Tiffany Co. blue. Because of that, it is a popular China Glaze shade and is well known among the beauty community. If you don't know what Tiffany blue looks like, then another way to describe For Audrey is that it is a robin egg blue. For Audrey first came out in 2007 and can be found almost anywhere China Glaze nail polishes are sold.

For Audrey is a creme polish and only took about two coats full opacity. It applies nicely onto the nails and goes on smooth. Plus the color is really pigmented and you can pretty much get away with just one coat. Sorry if the color looks somewhat light in my pictures. I couldn't get the lighting right and it was raining outside. LOL

QUESTIONS:
Do you have China Glaze For Audrey?
What do you think of this shade?
Do you think it resembles Tiffany Blue?

Haul: China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitter Collection

Hey everyone! Guess what I bought? I finally bought the China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitter Collection!! Yes, you read it right! This is the first time where I actually have every nail polish in a collection. Usually I would just buy one or two polish from a collection but this is the first time where I bought the whole collection. I love this collection and can't wait to wear it because I am a glitter lover, no matter how hard it takes to remove off the nails. Hopefully they all live up to all the hypes and swatches I have seen online!

In this collection, there are a total of 6 shades. All of them are gorgeous! Plus they each contain glitter and holographic particles to make them more eye catching. Each polish contains a main base shimmer with different rainbow glitters. The rainbow glitters are specks of This collection includes:

++PRISM++
purple holographic shimmer with pink, purple, green, orange and silver glitters
++ OPTICAL ILLUSION++
green shimmers with pink, green, silver, and orange glitters
++ FULL SPECTRUM++
pink with holographic purple tint with silver, pink, green, and orange glitter
++ POLARIZED++
silver shimmer with specks of orange, green, silver, and pink glitters
++ RAY-DIANT++
greenish gold shimmer with specks of pink, silver, orange, and green glitters
++ LIQUID CRYSTAL++
blue holographic shimmer with purple tint and green, silver, orange, and pink glitters

If you didn't know, this collection was just released this month but some stores have already started to put it a few days before April. I actually was lucky enough to buy it online from Amazon. Thanks to Lamanie L. for the heads up on where she bought hers from. She was so sweet to message me on Saturday to let me know which Amazon seller she bought from. After I got her message, I immediately ordered mines. I ordered mines on Saturday night and it just came today on Wednesday. The shipping was pretty fast. I was nervous when I got mines in the mail because the nail polishes were just seperated by bits of newspapers but they arrived safe and unharmed. Whew! If you would like to order from the same seller on Amazon: CLICK HERE.
Price: $13.94
Shipping: $5.00
Total Cost: $18.94

I had a $10 Amazon Gift Card from a survey a few months back. I used my gift card and only had to pay $8.94USD, which is a great deal. So for each polish, I pretty much paid $1.49USD each because of my gift card, which is definitely a great deal since individual shades retail for $8USD! Yay! I can't wait to try these out soon! I won't try them out for a couple of days because I have been wearing polishes a lot lately and I want to let my finger nails breathe for a while. So that is all for my haul! Hope you all liked it! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Are you considering getting any shades from this collection? Which ones are you looking foward to adding to your collection

NOTD: China Glaze "For Audrey" & "Luxe and Lush"

Hey everyone! I just wanted to show everyone what I wore on my nails when I went to go see the Hunger Games movie! I was so excited to go watch the movie. I was a little bit disappointed that when I went, it was also the same time that a bunch of middle school students went as well for their field trip. If you haven't seen the movie yet, you definitely need to go see it! Spoiler alert: I cried a couple of times. LOL

Okay back onto my nails! When I first wore this nail look, I wasn't sure how I liked it. I thought that I should have used a darker base color instead of For Audrey. I've seen swatches of Luxe & Lush and loved how it looks as a top coat over black but since Spring is coming, I wanted to wear it with a light creme color. Sorry if the pictures are a little bit blurry, for some reason my camera couldn't focus. I think it was having a hard time because of Luxe and Lush. For Audrey was a very opaque color and only required one coat. I usually paint my nails with thick coats so you are a person who paints with thin coats, you might need about two coats.

So that is all my NATM! I hope you all liked it! It isn't much but I have just been loving Luxe and Lush and with Hunger Games out, I was in the mood. LOL Did you guys watch the Hunger Games movie? Did you buy any of the polishes from the Capital Colours collection?

Swatches: China Glaze Electrify (Capitol Colours)

Hey guys! Guess what? The Hunger Games movie is coming out this week! YAY! I can't wait to go watch it. I am so excited! So far, I have only read the first book and am still trying to get my hands on the second one. I love it so much that I have also been trying the get the whole China Glaze Capitol Colours collection, which says a lot! If I do end up finding the whole collection and buying it, this will be my first nail polish compeleted collection.

Since the movie is coming out, I am painting my nails with one of the nail polishes from the collection as a dedication to the movie. When the movie comes out and if I do find the whole collection, I am probably going to be painting my nails with all the nail polishes. A different polish for each finger nail. I know that there are 12 nail polishes for each 12 districts so I am probably going to do some kind of design so I would be able to use all 12 on my nails.

Okay, so for this nail look, I am wearing China Glaze "Electrify". It is gorgeous glitter nail polish with both gold and red glitters. It has the tiny gold glitters and red hexagonal glitters. This is definitely a gorgeous glitter nail polish and I am loving it on my nails! If you didn't know already, Electify is made for District 5, which is the power district. Electrify is a clear based polish with glitters. In the pictures, I showed what this nail polish would look like with one, two, and three coats. For me, I prefer to use this nail polish with three coats because I like to have my nails completely covered with glitter.

You don't need to do three coats but can use Electify over a colored base nail polish. Electrify dried pretty fast, which is the usual for glitter nail polishes. I do have to admit though, that this nail polish dries gritty. So if you don't like glitter nail polishes that dries gritty, this might not be for you. I applied two coats of top coat, hoping to making the glitter smooth but I could still feel the glitters. So far, I am lovin this nail polish and can't wait to get the rest of the collection! Have you read the Hunger Games series yet? What do you think of the China Glaze Capitol Colours collection? What do you think of Electify?

Mini Capitol Colours Haul

Hey everyone! Guess what!! I finally bought two nail polishes from the China Glaze Capitol Colours collection. I am decided whether to buy the whole collection or not. What do you guys think? The store that I went to didn't have the whole collection since the new display was pretty much empty. I was lucky enough to find the two nail polishes that I wanted the most from the whole collection. If you didn't know already, the Capitol Colours collection is based on the Hunger Games movies that is coming out this Friday! I can't wait to watch the movie!

The two nail polishes that I was lucky enough to find are:
-Electify, which is for District 5 (power district)
-Luxe and Lush, which is for District 1 (luxury district)

I am so happy that I was able to get these two nail polishes. I love both of them and can't wait to wear both of them soon! I will be posting up a NATM using Electrify, so please stay tuned for that! I definitely can't wait to get the whole collection! Have you read the Hunger Games series? What do you think about the Capitol Colours collection? Which ones are you looking foward to?

NOTD: China Glaze in Re-Fresh Mint

Hey everyone! I'm back with another NOTD! I always tend to forget to take a picture of my nails whenever I paint them. Plus I feel like they don't really compete with all the freaking gorgeous nail designs being posted all over the Internet. This week I just painted my nails with China Glaze in Re-Fresh Mint.

I have been wanting this nail polish for so long and I was so happy when I finally found it. I saw it on the nail polish display and snatched it up right away. LOL It is the perfect minty nail polish. My only other minty nail polish is Milani in Dress Maker, which is more on the green side than minty. If that makes any sense! Plus Dress Maker has shimmers in it and it was really sheer. I wanted a nail polish that was just a creamy mint with no shimmers. Dress Maker took about 4 coats to get it opaque but Re-Fresh Mint only took 2 coats! LOVE! If you are like me, then you prefer nail polishes that don't need that many coats.

This nail look is pretty simple. I didn't add any nail art to it because it was my first time wearing Re-Fresh Mint and I just loved the color so much that I didn't want to change it or add anything to it. LOL Like I said its pretty simple. Re-Fresh Mint is pretty opaque, you can get away with just one coat but I actually wanted two coats because I wanted it to even be seen for afar. I know, I'm weird. That is how much I love this shade! LOL

As for my base coat, I used Orly Top2Bottom. Top2Bottom is a basecoat and topcoat all-in-one nail polish. I don't really like it as my top coat, because it takes forever to dry. A top coat that I have been really loving since I bought it is the Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat. This makes my nail polishes dry pretty quick and plus it gives them a nice shine. If anyone wants me to do a review on the Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat, just let me know by commenting below and I will post one!

Well that is all for my nail look! I hope you guys liked it. I know its pretty simple, but I promise I will try to do some nail art in the future once I get the hang of it and the patience to do it. If you have any other questions, let me know by commenting below and I will try my best to answer all of them!
Have you tried China Glaze nail polish in Re-Fresh Mint? Are there any mint nail polishes that you love and/or crave? Any that you would recommend?
