Recently Spotted: All New Drugstore Makeup

Hi everyone! I was recently at RiteAid buying some items for my mom and I noticed that there were so many new products out. I haven't been to a drugstore in a while because I have been so busy. Since the lines to check out were somewhat long and they only had one cashier available, I thought to myself, might as well kill some time and check out the new makeup displays and take some pictures for you guys to see! I am sure that everyone in line was thinking that I was funny or weird taking pictures of the new displays, plus it didn't help when I forgot to mute my phone and every time I took pictures, you would hear a loud click. LOL Don't worry, I finally turned it off after a few clicks. Didn't notice after a while since I was so excited with all the new makeup out.

By the way, I just want to apologize for some of my pictures. Some of them are in the wrong direction. I don't know how to fix that. To tell you truth, that is one of the main reasons why I haven't been blogging as often, that and being busy with work. It is just so irritating seeing my pictures in the wrong orientation and not knowing how to fix it. If you guys know how to fix that problem, please leave a comment below telling me how to solve that problem.

For those that haven't had the chance to try out the Physician's Formula Super BB Cream, you can actually buy the trial size. I think the full size regularly retails for a little over $12 before tax but now you can buy the deluxe trial size for just $3.95. If you want to see how the size compares to the full size, you can scroll down. I took a picture of the two side by side.

If you have been wanting to try out the PF Super BB Cream but don't want to pay $12 for it and about $4 for a little one, just head over to Instagram. I am selling the full size ones in "Light/Medium" for $4 each. I have a few left so if you are interested, better hurry. My selling Instagram is @MakeupFromLisa

L'Oreal finally came out with eyeshadow crayons! If you have tried any L'Oreal Infallible eyeliners, then you would know how creamy and pigmented they are. Lets hope that these have the same formula and color intensity. I love the range of colors that they came out with.

My love for Revlon lip products is constantly growing! When I first saw these, I told myself that I will definitely be buying some to try out, mainly the lipsticks. I think that Revlon lipsticks are the best drugstore lipsticks out there. With it being Fall and Winter almost here, I can see the dark colors first selling out fast.

Revlon came out a new foundation for their PhotoReady line. This one claims to give you the airbrush look. Plus it comes with a pump, which is always a great thing for drugstore foundations.

Again, sorry for the weird orientation of the picture above. I don't know how to fix it. If anybody knows, please let me know. For me to fix it, I would have to upload it about 4 to 5 times before the orientation is right and I don't have time for that. Anyways, this is another product for the PhotoReady line. This is the Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Fix Multi Use Balm. I think this is somewhat the same concept as the Mally one. I can't remember the name but this claims to prime and smooth skin when worn under makeup and can be used for touch ups to eliminate shin when applied over makeup.

Another new drugstore foundation but this time, from CoverGirl. I love how it comes in a plastic container. Hopefully that will help stop people from opening makeup and swatching it. I hate it whenever I would buy a product, take it home and only to find out that it was swatched already when I got home. I think they should start doing this to all makeup or already start sealing the whole product from top to bottom in plastic. LOL

Please let me know if you guys have tried any of these new products and what you guys think about them. I would love to know your opinions on them. If you guys have any questions, please let me know and I will try my best to answer them. As always, thank you for reading and I hope you guys enjoyed my posts!

Spotted: Revlon Holiday Eye Glam Lashes

Hey everyone! Happy New Years everyone! If you are one of those girls who like to look all glam up for this holidays then this collection is probably great for you, especially if you love dressing up your eyes! But if you like soft eyes and natural looks then this collection might not be for you. There are three new styles on this display. Two of the lashes are thick styles since they definitely are full and "2x layer" according to the packaging. In case you guys are looking for this display, I spotted it at CVS and Walgreens stores so far.

These were $5.99 each at my CVS store but remember prices vary by stores and location. I know that on the packaging there is a picture of the Revlon lash glue but these don't come with the lash glue, which somewhat sucks but if each pair of lashes did, the price would definitely by higher. They just tell you to use the lashes with the Revlon lash glue. Anyways let me know if you have tried these and if you have worn them for any holiday parties or for New Years! By the way, I hope you all had a great New Years and may 2014 start off with everything we wish for. Let me know what you guys did on New Years Eve and on New Years! I would love to know. Just comment below. Thanks for reading everyone!

Spotted: Revlon Age Defying CC Cream

Hey everyone! Ooh every time I see a new display with a tester, my heart just skips a beat! LOL I am sure that you all feel the same way, especially since it stops people from opening sealed products to swatch them and putting them back, only to buy the same exact shade but a brand new one. Anyways I think more drugstore brands should have testers for their products to stop those kind of people because there have been a couple of times where I have bought a product that was already opened and used. Eww, right? Anyways, I glad that there was a tester on this display.

This line has four shades, which is nice because CC creams and BB creams tend to either come out with two or three shades. The shades in this collection are light, light medium, medium, and medium deep. This is great for those that are in between shades. The tester that was on the display was in the shade light, which I did swatch on my hand. As you see in the pictures below, this cc cream doesn't have a runny formula and was very easy to blend. I would write more but I actually don't remember much, to be honest.

Please let me know if you have seen this new display at your stores yet. This one was spotted at my local CVS store but I am sure that it is already is RiteAid, Walgreens, Target and other stores. Let's give a hand clap to Revlon for including a tester in the display! I hope more stores will follow this and start doing the same. Anyways thanks for reading and I hope you guys have a great holiday and a happy new year! I still can't believe tomorrow is New Years! If you guys have tried this cc cream before, please leave a comment below letting me know what you think.

Spotted: Revlon Designed By Marchesa LE Nail Art Stickers

Hey everyone! Oh my goodness, when I saw this display I was definitely intrigued. I actually never tried any nail stickers from Revlon before but these really caught by eye with all the gorgeous designs. The designs look like something you would see on those fancy ball gowns or on dresses you would see in those "historical drama"movies and television shows.

There are four designs in this collection and all of them are gorgeous in their own way. If I were able to buy them all, I would have but at $9.99 a pop, that is just way too much for a set of nail stickers. These are a bit different from your typical nail stickers though because they are intricate nail appliques inspired by couture house Marchesa's signature designs. If you have seen this display at your drugstore before, let me know what you think about the designs and if you are contemplating on buying any.

Spotted: Revlon ColorStay ShadowLinks

Hey everyone! Yes! Another new display from Revlon! This display features the new Revlon ColorStay ShadowLinks, which allow you to mix and match shadows to customize your own palette. If this concept seems familiar, its similar to the ones by Sallys Girl sold exclusively at Sally's Beauty. These are interchangeable eye shadows, which you can slide together to create your own customizable palette. This collection comes 12 single shadows but I don't know if Revlon is going to add more to this line. I like the colors in the collection so far because they included some great neutral shades and ones for creating smokey eye looks.

Let me know if you have seen these new Revlon ColorStay ShadowLinks and if you would buy any. What do you guys think about the concept?

Swatches: Revlon Super Lustrous Shine Lipstick "820 Pink Cognito"

Hey everyone! I have been meaning to post swatches on this for a while now. I was actually thinking of purchasing another from the Shine line to swatch together but I didn't want to buy another lipstick just for swatching purposes so I am just going to have this lipstick alone. If you didn't know already, Revlon recently came out with a new finish of Super Lustrous lipsticks. Revlon claims that these Super Lustrous Shine lipsticks have "lightweight color [and] moisturizing shine." I really like how Revlon labels their finishes on their lipsticks because it makes it easier to figure out which one you want. I wish all drugstore brands would do that with their lipsticks.

I was really excited to try out Pink Cognito because I love pink lipsticks and the fact that it has a shine finish was interesting. I don't really like lipsticks with glitter or shimmer so I was a bit worried that the Shine line would contain them. The formula is actually pretty smooth and applies great on the lips. Although I love the formula, I was a bit disappointed in Pink Cognito. I thought it was going to be opaque and come out as the actual color that you would see in the tube but is actually quite sheer. You actually can't even see it on my lips, shown above. It looks like I have nothing on my lips. To get the color to even show up a bit on my lips, I would have to layer this lipstick on like crazy. You actually can't even tell if its on your lips so when it wears off, I guess that is a good thing since nobody would notice. If you are looking for an opaque, I would definitely not recommend this shade. If you are someone who wants a lipstick that pretty much acts like a lip balm, then you might like Pink Cognito. Let me know what you think!

QUESTIONS:
Have you ever tried any Super Lustrous Shine lipsticks?
Would you buy Pink Cognito?

Spotted: Revlon LE Art Major Collection

Hey everyone! Whoa, I have so many new collections to show you guys. I wanted to post up all my reviews and swatches but it looks like I am going to have to put those on hold again since I want to post up my spotted posts before they get old. You know with new collections, you got to keep up with them. Anyways most of these new collections that I am going to be posting were mainly spotted at RiteAid since I had the chance to visit one last week. I haven't been to one in a while so I was definitely surprised to see all the new collections that RiteAid had out, especially since my CVS and Walgreens stores are slow (like a snail) with bring out new products.

This collection that I am going to show you guys is the new Revlon Art Major collection. It is a limited edition collection so if you are interested in it, I highly suggest getting some before its all gone. These are duo nail polishes that give you nail art similar to a chalkboard look. I thought it was pretty interesting but I didn't buy any since I have heard that these Revlon duo polishes get bad faster than regular Revlon polishes. I have seen some chunk up and separate instantly in the store within weeks of release. Its weird. Anyways on the display, it says "master the trend with a matte black base and pop of pastel." I really like how the packaging is matte as you can see in the pictures. Its an interesting concept. Let me know if you guys bought any of these and what you think of them so far.

QUESTIONS:
Did you buy any from this collection?
How do you feel about the chalkboard nail art trend?

Please feel free to Comment, Like, Friend, & Follow!
