Recently Spotted: All New Drugstore Makeup

Hi everyone! I was recently at RiteAid buying some items for my mom and I noticed that there were so many new products out. I haven't been to a drugstore in a while because I have been so busy. Since the lines to check out were somewhat long and they only had one cashier available, I thought to myself, might as well kill some time and check out the new makeup displays and take some pictures for you guys to see! I am sure that everyone in line was thinking that I was funny or weird taking pictures of the new displays, plus it didn't help when I forgot to mute my phone and every time I took pictures, you would hear a loud click. LOL Don't worry, I finally turned it off after a few clicks. Didn't notice after a while since I was so excited with all the new makeup out.

By the way, I just want to apologize for some of my pictures. Some of them are in the wrong direction. I don't know how to fix that. To tell you truth, that is one of the main reasons why I haven't been blogging as often, that and being busy with work. It is just so irritating seeing my pictures in the wrong orientation and not knowing how to fix it. If you guys know how to fix that problem, please leave a comment below telling me how to solve that problem.

For those that haven't had the chance to try out the Physician's Formula Super BB Cream, you can actually buy the trial size. I think the full size regularly retails for a little over $12 before tax but now you can buy the deluxe trial size for just $3.95. If you want to see how the size compares to the full size, you can scroll down. I took a picture of the two side by side.

If you have been wanting to try out the PF Super BB Cream but don't want to pay $12 for it and about $4 for a little one, just head over to Instagram. I am selling the full size ones in "Light/Medium" for $4 each. I have a few left so if you are interested, better hurry. My selling Instagram is @MakeupFromLisa

L'Oreal finally came out with eyeshadow crayons! If you have tried any L'Oreal Infallible eyeliners, then you would know how creamy and pigmented they are. Lets hope that these have the same formula and color intensity. I love the range of colors that they came out with.

My love for Revlon lip products is constantly growing! When I first saw these, I told myself that I will definitely be buying some to try out, mainly the lipsticks. I think that Revlon lipsticks are the best drugstore lipsticks out there. With it being Fall and Winter almost here, I can see the dark colors first selling out fast.

Revlon came out a new foundation for their PhotoReady line. This one claims to give you the airbrush look. Plus it comes with a pump, which is always a great thing for drugstore foundations.

Again, sorry for the weird orientation of the picture above. I don't know how to fix it. If anybody knows, please let me know. For me to fix it, I would have to upload it about 4 to 5 times before the orientation is right and I don't have time for that. Anyways, this is another product for the PhotoReady line. This is the Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Fix Multi Use Balm. I think this is somewhat the same concept as the Mally one. I can't remember the name but this claims to prime and smooth skin when worn under makeup and can be used for touch ups to eliminate shin when applied over makeup.

Another new drugstore foundation but this time, from CoverGirl. I love how it comes in a plastic container. Hopefully that will help stop people from opening makeup and swatching it. I hate it whenever I would buy a product, take it home and only to find out that it was swatched already when I got home. I think they should start doing this to all makeup or already start sealing the whole product from top to bottom in plastic. LOL

Please let me know if you guys have tried any of these new products and what you guys think about them. I would love to know your opinions on them. If you guys have any questions, please let me know and I will try my best to answer them. As always, thank you for reading and I hope you guys enjoyed my posts!

Spotted: Physicians Formula YouthWear Spotless Makeup

Hey everyone! Polka dot, polka dot, polka dot, alfro! Haha, sorry I am watching Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted and they were singing this song while I am writing this post and I just had to say it, especially since this new product line has polka dots (or spots) all over their packaging. It was just too funny not to say. I have seen that movie so many times with my little brother and we love it each time. It's such a funny and great family movie, if you guys haven't watched it yet.

Anyways, onto the makeup! Let's just say how cute and interesting the packaging is with all the purple spots all over. Physicians Formula has come out with new products for their YouthWear line, it's the YouthWear Spotless. They came out with new foundations, powders, and concealers. I have tried the original YouthWear foundation and I love mixing it with my CoverGirl 3-in1 foundation. I might actually want to try this new foundation once I use up the one that I have and pick up the concealer as well.

The foundations come in three shades: light, medium beige, and medium. I think the concealer only came In two shades: light and light/medium. I can't exactly remember the shade for the powder but I think it was transcluent. I haven't tried the products yet but I have seen some swatches of the concealer and it looks pretty good, coverage wise. If you have tried any of these products before, please let me know. I would love to know what you think of these products and if you love them! Also as always, Physicians Formula has $3 off peelings on these. I love it when Physicians Formula does that because they help you save money on new products. Thanks for reading!

Spotted: Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish

Hey everyone! I am so excited for these nail polishes. I always see them in peoples hauls in the UK and have been wondering when they were going arrive to the States. I was mainly curious to try them out to see if they would really dry in 60 seconds like they claim but now that I look at the display, I noticed that it doesn't say that they dry in 60 seconds but that they give you color and shine in 60 seconds so that's pretty interesting. If you have tried these before from a swap, please let me know if the UK ones claim to dry in 60 seconds. I would really like to know. Haha!

So far there are 15 shades in this line and I think Rimmel might have a few more that they will later add. Like I said, I haven't tried this line of polishes but I have tried a few Rimmel polishes and I do like their brushes in their Lasting Finish polishes. If you have tried these, let me know what you think of them. Thanks for reading!

Spotted: Physicians Formula Nude Wear Collection

Hey everyone! First off let me just say how cute is this display! I know that Physicians Formula tends to have really cute displays but this one just takes the cake with all the pink, rose gold, and the bows on the actual products. I am positive that all of you would definitely agree with me on this one! This display is called the Nude Wear, which is a new line from Physicians Formula. These products claim to be "glowing nude makeup" for a "beautiful bare skin effect and skin-glowing finish."

This collection has bronzers, highlighters, and blushes. The blushes are definitely what I would be after. Each product says "Nude Wear" on the actual product itself. This actually reminds me of a product that Dior (or was it Dior?) came out with a few months ago with the word "Nude" on the actual product. I would if Physician Formula had them in mind? Thanks for reading!

Spotted: L'Oreal New True Match Mineral Instant Shine Eraser Powder

Hey everyone! Here is another new foundation in drugstores! First off, let me just say, how cute is the packaging! Usually I am a huge fan of sleek black packaging but the white on this make it look sophisticated as well. Doesn't it look like something you might see at a department store? Maybe white is the new black? LOL Anyways, these are the new L'Oreal True Match Mineral Instant Shine Eraser Powders. I haven't seen any reviews on these yet but I do love the True Match line in general. I have tried their foundations from that line and I remember really liking them. The True Match line was actually the first makeup products that I remember trying out when I first started wearing makeup.

So far there are four shades in this new collection but I am sure that L'Oreal will come out with more because L'Oreal is usually known for their shade variety in foundations in the drugstore. I do wish that there were some testers on the display, a few samples, or maybe even some coupons but we can't always get what we wish for. Anyways the claim on these are pretty interesting since they claim to keep you shine free through the day. Let me know if you guys are excited for these. Thanks for reading!

Spotted: Kiss New Looks So Natural False Lashes

Hey everyone! If the dramatic false lashes that I posted a few days ago were too much for you then you might like these. These are the Kiss Looks So Natural lashes. These claim to feel softer and look more natural on the eyes. If you are looking for everyday false lashes then you might love these. This collection has 6 different lash styles but one of them was completely sold out by the time I found this display. It makes me curious enough to see what those lashes look like since they were sold out. They must have been really pretty.

These are only $3.99 each at my Walgreens. Plus what is even better is that they come with a glue. I actually wish I had included close-ups of each lash so you guys can see a little better. For the mean time, you can just zoom in on the picture. LOL Sorry about that. If you have tried these, let me know what you think and if they really do really softer than the usual false lashes. Thanks for reading!

Spotted: Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation

Hey everyone! I am so excited that Rimmel has come out with a matte foundation. If you have bee keeping up with me these past few months, then you might know that I have been loving the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. I actually use it everyday to set my liquid foundation. I love it because it sets my foundation without changing the color. Well now, Rimmel has come out with their Stay Matte Foundation to go with their pressed powder. Rimmel claims that it "feels weightless and cakeless" while keeping you matte hence the name. It has a liquid mousse texture, according to the display. I think there are eight new shades in this line but I am unsure because some of the shades were already gone.

What makes it even better is that the display has tear pad coupons for $1 off the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation! I think the foundation was $5.99 at my CVS and with the $1 off coupon, you only pay $4.99 before tax. Since I love the pressed powder so much, I actually decided to pick one up to try out but I actually might have to go back and exchange it because when I opened it to try out, I noticed that someone had already opened and swatched it because the foundation was all over the inside of the cap. Don't you guys hate it when that happens? So make sure before you buy these to double check since there are no safety seals on these. Let me know if you would like to see a first impressions using this or a full on review using this foundation.

Spotted: Maybeline New Dream Wonder Powder

Hey everyone! How is your day so far? I hope that everything is going great for you guys? I still can't believe that its already 2014. I still forget sometimes and write 2013 whenever I write the date down on forms and etc. LOL Let me know if you guys have the same problems as well. That always happens to me each year for a couple of days before I just remember automatically. I am so excited that its 2014 because lots of makeup brands are coming out with new products and all the good tv shows are coming back from their mid-season or season break! Let me know which shows are you guys most excited for.

Okay onto the makeup. I actually spotted this collection at my Walgreens store. It was located right in front of the cashiers so I know for sure that both them and the customers in line were staring at me taking pictures of makeup. Haha! Sometimes when I do take pictures of makeup displays and people are right there, I wonder if they even know what the pictures are for. Anyways, if you guys didn't know already Maybelline came out with new powder foundation. What's funny with these is that these claim to be "the first powder with less talc" and because of that they "feel like powderless powder for a creamy glide and smooth flawless finish." I just thought that claim was funny because it would have been better to just make the powder with no talc than less talc.

I haven't tried these yet but not sure if I would buy them anytime soon since I already have a ton of powders that I need to finish up first. If this goes on sale or if I run out of my numerous powders then I might just have to buy this to try out. Let me know if you tried these yet. I do wish that they came with testers like other Revlon and CoverGirl displays are having.

Spotted: Rimmel ScandelEyes Retro Glam Mascara

Hey everyone! Here is another new display that I recently spotted. I actually spotted this display at my local Walgreens store. I was actually happy when I saw this display because I love trying out Rimmel mascaras. I do have to admit, some Rimmel mascaras don't work on me but the ones that do work on my lashes are the ones that I love!

These are the new Rimmel ScandalEyes Retro Glam mascaras. I heard that Rimmel is discontinuing the ones in the packaging since they are on clearance at CVS but I do not know for sure. These claim to give a "bold, wide-eyed look" with no clumps. The brush looks pretty interesting. It has that in and out wavy look, which is mean to plump and fan out the lashes. If you are in need to a new volume mascara to try and tried these, please leave a comment below letting me what you think of these.

Spotted: Maybelline Sensational The Buff Collection

Hey everyone! If you are a lip junkie who loves nude shades then Maybelline is definitely calling your name! They came out with a new collection of ColorSensational lipsticks in all nude shades called The Buff. Maybelline calls these fleshtone pigments. Maybelline claims that you will definitely find your perfect nude shade in this collection.

In this collection, there are 10 new nude shades. If you are a fan of nude lipsticks then I am sure you would fall in love with each and every one of these shades! From left to right, the shades are: 910 Bare All, 915 Blushing Beige, 920 Nude Lust, 925 Maple Kiss, 930 Truffle Tease, 935 Sin-A-Mon, 940 Touchable Taupe, 945 Stormy Sahara, 950 Untainted Spice, and 955 Espresso Exposed. Let me just say that I love the names of these shades. They all sound sexy or delicious. LOL I think if you haven't found your perfect nude lipstick yet, you will probably find it in this collection.

Spotted: CoverGirl New TruBlend & TruMagic Products

Hey everyone! Look at this huge display! I can't believe that I almost walked past it. The CVS store that I went to had huge storage tins all over the beauty aisles, which was really annoying. I don't know how they would even sell any items with storage tins blocking everything. That's why my first picture was a bit blurry. It was kind of hard for me to take a picture of the whole display with storage tins all around me. I was so afraid that someone might bump into them and it would come crashing all down on me. Scary! So I did all this for you guys! CoverGirl came out with a bunch of new products for their new TruMagic line. They came out with "primer," foundations and concealers. If you are interested, definitely keep reading, especially if you are a CoverGirl fan! Plus I also include a few swatches of the products shown because the display had testers! What is even better is that each shade of the foundations had it's very own tester so now everyone can find their perfect shade.

(L-R) The Mattifier, The Sunkisser, and the Luminer
The first product that I am going to show you guys are the CoverGirl TruMagic Skin Perfectors. I have heard that some people say that these remind them of the Mally Poreless face Defender. I think that's what Mally's product is called. I have seen it and the actual product is pretty similar to the first shade shown in the picture. I haven't tried the one from Mally so I can't compare the two but I am sure that someone out there already has done a blog post or a video comparing the two already. There are 3 different shades for the Skin Perfectors. They are the Mattifier, the Sunkisser and the Luminizer. Each has it's own purpose as you can tell from its name. These claim to be oil-free and soft to the touch. You can use these under and/or over your makeup. I was mainly interested in the Mattifier and the Sunkisser, to be honest. I was definitely excited that the display has testers for me to swatch and post for you guys!

I was pretty excited to try these out. I don't really use primers but I do love trying out products that claim to give you a mattifying finish. I don't really like foundations that claim to give a glow because I feel like my face just looks oily throughout the day. I prefer having a matte finish so this seemed like an interesting product. It did have an interesting feel to it. These do look like a cream product in the packaging but they feel like a solid gel type consistency. When swatches, this has a clear look to it. It swatched it on my hand and it made me hand look pore-less and matte. I am not sure if you can see that in the picture but if you zoom in, you would be able to tell. If I were to buy this, I think I would definitely love using this under my makeup as a primer.

This one is called the Sunkisser. It has the same solid gel-like consistency. When swatched on the hand, this product reminds me of a cream bronzer. I really like this product and think it will be great to use as contouring. It blended so well when I swatched it on my hand. Since this is a solid gel-like consistency, I feel like I would have better luck contouring with this than with an actual cream bronzer. Let me know what you guys think as well.

This one is called the Luminzer and it has the same consistency as the other two products. shown above. The Luminer looks like a golden shimmery product in the pan but once swatched, all you really see is the yellow golden shimmers. I am not sure how I feel about this but then again, I only swatched it twice. Haha! All three TruMagic Skin Perfectors have a silky feel to it. If you haven't tried them yet, out of the three that I have tried from the testors on the display, I would probably end up buying the Mattifier and the SunKisser because of how it performs on the skin.

I love how CoverGirl came out with a variety of shades for this line. They have some for light, medium, and deep skin tones. I do wish that they had regular names for the shades, rather than numbers. I am just weird like that. Usually I would buy medium beige and any shade similar to my skin tone with the name beige in it. Most of the time that works for me. Haha! I am glad that each shade has a tester because that makes it so easy to find your correct shade. Too bad not all drugstores do this with their new and permanent products.

First off let me say that these foundations come with pumps!! When I pumped some onto my fingers, I noticed that the foundation is definitely on the runny side. I have to say from what I noticed is that its not heavy coverage. I would say with one layer, its probably light to medium but more light coverage. It would have been better if I had swatched it on the back of my other hand because I have a mole on that hand so it would be better to see the coverage.

The new display also came with new CoverGirl TruBlend FixStick Concealers. These pretty much remind me of the L'Oreal stick concealers, packaging-wise. I don't know how well they perform but I remember a lot of people loving the L'Oreal one when it first came out. People were crazy over the L'Oreal ones because they were great as a concealer (under eye and blemishes), eyeliner (to brighten up the waterliner), inner corner highlight, and etc. I wonder if these are meant for different uses. Let me know if you guys have tried these or if you have seen any of these products at your stores. I would love to hear your opinions on all these products and whether or not you would love to try these.
