Haul: Physicians Formula Products

Hey everyone! This is a haul that I have been meaning to post up for you guys for a while now. I had actually bought all this stuff at CVS when they had their sale where all Physicians Formula products were 50% off. Now when I see a 50% off sale, I definitely have to go check it out, especially if I have coupons making the sale even better. I only picked up four things because I had coupons for all of them and because I didn't want to go crazy. With the sale and coupons, I ended up spending around $2 plus tax for each product. Now that my friends is definitely a great deal, especially since each product retails for around $12 plus tax. I saved about $10 on each product so overall about $40!!

WHAT I BOUGHT:
◊ (2) Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush "Natural" & "Rose"
I have been wanting to give these blushes a try since they came out. I thought that the whole idea of these were so cute and plus the packaging is adorable! I love the lace design with the black blow and little stiletto shoe attached. On the actual blush, there is also an imprint of a stiletto. According to the packaging, these blushes are supposed to have a seductive scent and a pheromone boosting blend. I love it that claim to give your cheeks a "not so innocent" glow!

◊ Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Bronzer "Bronzer"
Like I need anymore bronzers in my collection. LOL But I just had to give this a try, plus the price was just too good of a deal to pass up. According to the packaging, the bronzer claims to "create a hot and sultry bronze glow" and they supposedly have that seductive scent as the blushes. Hopefully this bronzer will be a great as the other Physicians Formula bronzers that I have in my collection.

◊ Physicians Formula Super BB Concealer "Light/Medium"
I have also been curious about this concealer since I did a spotted post on it. I never tried a BB concealer before so I knew that I had to give this a try. Plus with all the benefits that this concealer claims to do, I just had to get it. It claims to do over 10 things and has SPF 15 in it. According to the packaging, it is supposed to be "smoothing, concealing, correcting, anti-dark circles, anti-puffiness, line-smoothing, brightening, perfecting, protecting, and long-wearing."

So those are all the products that I bought from CVS during their 50% off sale on Physicians Formula products. I haven't tried these yet but I will soon once I finish up a couple of products in my collection. I don't want a bunch of opened, used products that will go bad fast. If you have tried any of these products before, definitely let me know what you think about these because I would love to know your thoughts and opinions on these. Spotted: New Revlon Products

Hey everyone! If you saw my previous post, then you would know that I saw a bunch of new displays recently. The second display that I am going to talk about is the Revlon PhotoReady Primer + Shadow Palettes. I was actually excited when I saw these because I really like Revlon products, especially their ColorStay line.

I also liked that the display had a tester. I love how a lot of drugstore brands are having testers on their new displays now. It makes it easier to decide what your right shade is and whether you like the product or now. On the display, I saw 8 new palettes but one of them was already sold out.

The tester that was provided on the display was the Revlon PhotoReady Primer + Shadow "520 Watercolors". I must say that these shadows are pretty soft to the touch but I hate to admit that the shadows in this palette aren't that pigmented. Plus they are quite on the powdery side. Plus the sparkle top coat (which is the sparkly pink shadow at the end) is a mess. Its the least pigmented in the palette and it has a ton of fallout, which you can see in the pictures. I guess the person before me was trying to wear it but just created a pink glitter mess. Plus the primer in the palette is a bit weird. Its not your usual wet primer but its a tad bit on the drier side. Of course, it could be because the palette was open on the display as a tester for who know how many days. What do you guys think?

Other than that, I am not sure if I would end up buying any of these anytime soon. I just have way too many shadows in my collection and I am not a fan of these shadows but the other palettes could be different. Have you seen these new Revlon PhotoReady shadows? What do you guys think? What palette caught your eyes? What do you guys think about the swatches?


Another display that I am going to talk about is the Revlon PhotoReady  BB Cream. I wonder if these are going to be more similar to tinted moisturizers than to the actual Asian BB Creams. I wish I had bought one to bring home with me but I was just so excited seeing all the new displays. I was just taking pictures, oohing and ahhing, then would move onto another display and start the whole process all over again. LOL There was a tester on this display as well, which I really liked.
So far, they only have three shades and I don't know if they are going to have more shades later on. On the display, there were only three shades: Light, Light/Medium, and Medium. This BB Cream claims to "hydrate like moisturizer, smooths like primer, covers like foundation, blurs flaws like concealer, and protects with SPF 30 like sunscreen," according to the display.

From the tester, I actually think that this does have a good coverage. By the way, the tester on this display was the "020 Light Medium" shade. As you can see from my swatch, a little goes a long way with this. I can actually see that whole amount covering my whole face or if I would want a bit more coverage, then one side of my face. I really like how its easy to blend out and it feels really nice on my skin. I am not sure on how well it covers up blemishes because it made all the tiny lines of my wrist more noticeable  I think this would probably be great for those who have a flawless face and doesn't need much concealing with blemishes or is worried about any wrinkles. Other than that, I do like it but I hate how it makes all my lines more noticeable. You can see in some of my pictures, where the BB cream is blended out that the lines or more noticeable whereas the parts that don't have the BB cream is less noticeable.

Spotted: New Physicians Formula Products

Hey everyone! Today, I am going to do another post but on new products from Physicians Formula so definitely keep an eye out for the other posts coming right after this one. I love it when a new year comes (well except for the getting older part LOL) because all the drugstore brands start coming out with a bunch of new products. It might not be good for the wallet but its just so much fun for the eyes looking at all the new products. In this first Physicians Formula post, I am going to talk about the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Bronzers.

I am so excited for these new products because I love the Happy Booster line, especially their blushes! I love the bold pink packaging and how the actual product has hearts on them. I am not sure if they actually do change your mood and make you happy but I do get a smile on my face whenever I pull them out of my collection. What makes this new collection really interesting is that the Happy Booster line finally has baked bronzers! Plus if you didn't know already, Physicians Formula is actually considered the #1 brand for drugstore bronzers! This new display shows a regular baked bronzer and an illuminating bronzing veil. I love how Physicians Formula always has $3 off coupons on their new products!!

The first bronzer that I am going to show you a close-up of is the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Illuminating Bronzing Veil. Instead of your usual bronzing pearls like other brands have, Physicians Formula made theirs with little loose hearts! This bronzer is supposed to give you an illuminous bronze glow. According to the packaging, it comes with both a puff powder brush and a their regular brush.

The next product in the display is their Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Baked Bronzer. These look like gorgeous baked bronzers and sort of remind me of this one collection from MAC that they had a long time ago where the powders had hearts in the middle. If you know which MAC collection that I am talking about, please leave a comment below!

So that is all the new products for the Physicians Formula Happy Booster line!! I am so excited for both of these bronzers and can't wait to get my hands on the Baked Bronzer during a sale. Hopefully when they have the sale, the coupons attached to the packaging aren't gone because usually whenever CVS has a sale on Physicians Formula products, all the coupons are gone. I don't know if customers take them or if CVS stores have their employees take them off so they can get more money with less hassle of having to deal with coupons. What do you guys think? Here it is again, another drugstore brand has come out with their own BB Cream! This time, Physicians Formula thought to throw their hat into the game and came out with a new line of products. This line is called the Physicians Formula All-In-1 Beauty Balm Makeup, which includes BB concealers, BB creams, and BB powders. I have only tried BB creams so its interesting that a drugstore brand decided to up their game by coming out with BB concealers and BB powders. Now let me just say that when I walked into CVS, this display definitely caught my eye! Its is definitely a shiny display and even the products are shiny because of the holographic print on them. Chances are, you will probably not miss this display, if it comes across you. According to the display and packaging, these claim to have more than 10 beauty benefits. They claim to be:

• ◊ Smoothing
• ◊ Moisturizing
• ◊ Protecting
• ◊ Firming
• ◊ Priming + Filling
• ◊ Perfecting
• ◊ Concealing
• ◊ Brightening
• ◊ Line-Softening
• ◊ Long-Wearing

I am not sure if you can see the before/after pictures on the display that I took. Those pictures show that you can use these products to completely cover up blemishes, acne, and redness. Usually BB creams have light to medium coverage but these products seem to have full coverage but I am not sure. Their Super BB cream claims that it can replace both your moisturizer and your foundation, plus it has SPF in it. I am really excited for these all these products in this line and can't wait to see the reviews on them. I would have bought all three, if I had the money and also if there were on sale. LOL I always wait for a sale for Physicians Formula products because they can be on the pricey side for drugstore products. For example, the Super BB cream is $13.99 each, the Super BB Cream is $16.29 and the Super BB Powder retails for $14.99 each. Have you seen these new Super BB products from Physicians Formula? Last but now least, I just wanted to let you guys all know about a new line from Physicians Formula!! I am guessing that this new line is like their Happy Booster line but instead of making you happy, its supposed to make you feel sexy whenever you put on these products! If you haven't guessed what this new line is called, it is the Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Makeup. This new line includes blushes, bronzers, and lipglosses but I don't know if they are going to include powders and highlighters later on. Each has two different shades.

First off, I just have to admit how much I am in love with the packaging and the design on the powders! The first product in this line is the Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Bronzer. The packaging on these are kind of similar to their Cashmere line but with a lace print on the compact. I love how the compact is black and red lace print and on the side, it has a black bow with a heel on it. Plus what makes it even cuter is on the actual bronzers, there is an imprinted corset. I don't know why but tis just reminds me of a sexy vampire with all the red and black packaging. LOL Let me know if you guys are on the same boat as me. According to the packaging, these blushes have a seductive scent with a pheromone boosting blend.

The second product in this new line is the Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush. These also have the same black and red lace print packaging as the bronzers but instead of the imprinted corset, there is an imprinted heel on the blushes. According to the packaging, these blushes have a seductive scent with a pheromone boosting blend, which is the same as the blushes.

The last things on the display are the Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Glossy Stains. According to the packaging, these claim to have a kiss proof wear, intense color, and a high shine. This also has a seductive scent with a pheromone boosting blend like both the bronzers and the blushes. These also have a cute packaging on them. They both have red tops and come in a glass packaging. Around the lipgloss is a strip of red and black lace print design with the black bow and heel.

If you guys have seen these new products, definitely let me know! I would also love to know what the seductive scent smells like and if the scent really is seductive, like they claim. Spotted: New Rimmel Products

Hey everyone! Today, I am going to post on all the new Rimmel products that I recently spotted. I am so excited because I actually think Rimmel is a great brand. They have some great mascaras and their lipsticks are great. I just wish that they would get more attention in the beauty world. In this post, I am going to talk about the new mascaras that Rimmel recently came out with. I spotted this display at Walgreens, which is where I would usually spot new Rimmel products first. For some reason, the CVS store right by my house doesn't sell Rimmel products so if I had to buy any Rimmel products from a CVS sale, I would have to drive further to another CVS store.

Recently, Rimmel came out with the new Rimmel ScandalEyes Show Off Mascara. The brushes on these mascaras look pretty interesting because instead of your typical mascara wand, at the end of the wand is a spikey curved ball to lift up your lashes for a lasting effect. On the display, it says that the brush is flat for volume. They claim that this mascara has a fiber formula that is meant to lengthen your lashes. I never tried a mascara that has a wand like this before but I have seen some high-end mascaras that have wands similar to these. Have you seen these Rimmel ScandalEyes Show Off mascaras yet? What do you think about the mascara wand?

It seems like all the drugstore brands are coming out with BB creams. I think there are still a couple of drugstore brands that haven't come out with their interpetations of BB creams yet like Wet N Wild. The reason why I say interpetations is because these BB creams aren't the same as the actual Asian BB creams. To me, they are more like tinted moisturizers. This time, it is Rimmel that came out with a BB cream. Rimmel claims that this is a 9-in-1 super makeup SPF25 BB cream. Rimmel came out withh four shades but the display that I went to only had three of the shades in stock. The four shades are Light, Medium, Medium/Dark, and I am going to assume that the last shade is Dark. Like I said before, this BB cream is claimed as a 9-in-1 cream. According to the display, Rimmel claims that their Rimmel BB Creams:

• Primes
• Minimizes
• Protects
• Moisturizes
• Brightens
• Mattifies
• Smoothes
• Conceals
• Covers

This actually sounds like an interesting BB cream, in my opinion. I thought it was pretty interesting that it mattifies. I wish that there was actually a tester on the display because I really want to try it out. I would have bought it too because Rimmel products aren't pricey but I just have way too many foundations and BB creams that I need to use up first. Later in the future, I would probably end up buying it, especially if its on sale. LOL Have you seen this display yet? What do you think of American BB creams and Asian BB creams?

If you are a fan of matte lipsticks, then this new collection might just be for you! I actually don't have any matte lipsticks in my collection but I do have some matte cream lip creams from NYX. I haven't tried any lipsticks from the Kate line but I heard that they were pretty good. These claim to have a velvety rich color while being comfortable on the lips. That should be pretty interesting because usually matte lipsticks are drying on the lips and can be uncomfortable for some people. In this collection, there are a total of ten new shades for the Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish 8HR Matte Lipstick Collection. The packaging looks pretty nice and is just all red but with black in the middle. On each lipstick has the name Kate on the cap. I actually wish that these lipsticks either had a clear window on the top of the cap or had one of those bottoms where you could see the actual color. I feel like before buying these, I would have to check each one to make sure that they weren't swatched or tampered with beforehand since they have no safety seals on these. What do you think about the lipsticks' packaging? Have you seen these new lipsticks from Rimmel?

And last but not least is the Rimmel Get Your Bronze On SunShimmer Shimmering Maxi Bronzers. These are illuminating bronzers that you can use on both your face and your body. There are three new shades in this line. These actually look good for the body like maybe on the chest area and on the shoulders for a shimmering bronze effect. These are regularly priced at $8.49 each but prices may vary be store and region. Have you seen these Shimmering Maxi Bronzers? What do you think of these bronzers?
