Giveaway Winnings From Eve Nguyen

Hey everyone! You have no idea how excited I was when I got the email from Eve Nguyen letting me know that I won her giveaway on her blog. I was estatic! LOL I may have overreacted when I read it because I started yelling and clapping my hands so loud that I literally scared my little brother. LOL Her giveaway was only for the Urban Decay Single Eyeshadow in Sin but apparently she included a couple of extras, which of course, I didn't mind at all. LOL She was so sweet to do that and I love everything. I can't wait to try everything that she included! She also sent everything with a cute card that had a blue and green flower on it. I will be keeping this since I always keep the cards and/or that come in packages from contests.

What Eve was kind enough to give:
URBAN DECAY SINGLE EYESHADOW IN SIN
I love this eyeshadow! It is a gorgeous shade and is also in many of UD palettes like the original NAKED palette. Sin is a shimmery champagne with a touch of pink. It is a gorgeous shade that you can use all over the lid and even wear it by itself. This is definitely one of my favorite UD eyeshadow shades! You can find this at Ulta and Sephora stores. You can also buy it online from the UD website.

JULEP NAIL VERNIS IN JENNIFER
This is a very cute nail polish. From looking at the bottle I can tell that this is going to be a sheer polish, which will probably be great for french tip manicures and/or whenever I want a sheer wash of color onto my nails. Jennifer is basically a sheer and neutral pink. This is definitely one of those shades that you can always get away with at work.

NYX ROLL ON SHIMMER IN SEA FOAM
I have never tried NYX Roll On Shimmer before and was almost going to buy one at Ulta during the 40% off sale. The mail man handed me the package right when I was locking up the door to head to Ulta so I am glad that I didn't have to buy one. I haven't tried it yet so I don't know how it will do. This can be used on the eyes, face, and body. Its a loose powder with a rollar applicator, kind of like with those old school lip glosses. The packaging is made out of hard plastic. Sea Foam is a really pretty bluish-green with silver shimmer.

MAKEUP BAG
I was surprised when I saw this and to tell you truth, I was a little bit confused. LOL That is until I opened the bag up and saw all the goodies inside. This is such a cute makeup bag. Its pink with black hearts. I love pink and I love hearts! I will definitely be using this bag to carry my makeup whenever I am traveling.

So that is all. I just wanted to say again, "THANK YOU EVE!" for everything! You were so kind and sweet for the extra surprises. You didn't have to, but I am glad that you did! LOL Thanks for having the giveaway! So far, I am loving everything! If any of you haven't checked out Eve's blog: CLICK HERE She does great posts with reviews (with tons of swatches) and of course, one of my favorites HAULS! I love seeing other peoples' hauls posts, probably because I am nosy and always want to see what others buy. LOL IDK, what do you think? Do you love seeing haul posts? Which posts are your favorites?

NOTD: Julep Nail Polish in Anne

Hey everyone! If you didn't know already but I just recently received my Julep Maven a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love with one of the nail polishes that I got! If you can't tell which nail polish from the pictures, it is the Julep Nail Polish in Anne. When I first saw this Anne, I instantly fell in love with the color. Its just such a gorgeous color. I don't have anything like it that resembles it in my nail polish collection.

I have been wearing this nail polish since Thursday. You only need about one coat but I did two bcause I wanted the color to show up on my nails so that people far away could see it too. LOL Yes, I am like that! I like to show off! This is the first Julep nail polish that I have tried. I have about 4 Julep nail polishes and a Julep top coat, which equals to 5 in my collection. I haven't tried the other Julep nail polishes that I have so I don't know if they are all the same in consistency and staying power. I have to say that the consistency is alright. It was a little bit goopy, which I disliked because it made it a little bit harder to work with. The staying power wasn't that good either because it chipped the next day!! And for those who might ask, I did wear a top coat over it.

So far, Anne is a pretty color but the lasting power isn't the best. I have never had a nail polish that started to chip the next day until this one. I don't know if the other Julep nail polishes are the same but I probably won't be purchasing it again.

Have you guys ever tried Julep nail polishes before? Did yours chip the next day as well? Which is your favorite Julep nail polish? Have you tried the Julep Maven box and what do you think about it?

My Second Julep Maven Box

Hey everyone! So I am pretty sure that everyone has been hearing so many great reviews about Julep Maven nail polishes. If you didn't know, Julep Maven is like a monthly programs like MyGlam and BirchBox. For each Julep Maven box is just $19.95USD with free shipping. For new members, they are having a special where your first box is $5USD but you need a certain promotion code. I have just started using Julep nail polishes and they were having so many great promotions lately like get a box for $0.01USD for new members! I got this box a few weeks ago but I haven't had the chance to post it. I think these boxes are a great way for people to try out Julep nail polishes for great prices because one Julep nail polish retails for $14USD, which is crazy!

What I got in my Julep Maven box:
❀ Julep Nail Vernis in Anne
Julep describes Anne as an ultra-saturated violet and that it dries semi-matte creme. If you know me, you know that I love how matte nail polishes look. I only own two matte nail polishes and they are both from Sinful Colors, which I love! I heard that this color is very pigmented and you only need one coat. Anne is such a gorgeous color and I can't wait to wear it!
❀ Julep Nail Vernis in Maria
Julep describes Maria as a shimmering platinum rose. This is such a gorgeous color. I am definitely wearing this in the next couple of days. Its sort of like a light purplish-pink with a pearlescent finish to it. I have seen swatches of this and read that this also only needs one coat to get it opaque.

❀ Julep Glow On Age Defying Hand Brightner
I haven't tried this yet and am not sure if I am going to keep this. I am still 24 years old and my hands haven't showed any signs of aging yet, thank goodness! I might just give this to my mom to try out. Hopefully she will like this. Its supposed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and age spots on hands while giving them a glow and evening out the skin tone.

❀ Julep Everyday SPF Hand Cream SPF 30
This is a sample and I haven't tried this either. I might also give this one to my mom as well because her hands are really cracked and dry. She has been looking for the best hand cream and so far, the Ponds Dry Skin is working okay but not fast enough. LOL

I can't remember the exact name of this box. Hopefully they still have this on the Julep website, in case some of you want this. This is a great way to try out Julep nail polishes at such a great price. If you guys want to try out Julep nail polishes, signing up for their program is the best way! Plus you can save some money rather than buying the nail polishes individually. If you have any other questions, please feel free to comment below! My 1ST Julep Maven Box

Hey everyone! So I have been hearing so many great reviews about Julep Maven nail polishes. Julep Maven are doing monthly programs like MyGlam and BirchBox. For each Julep Maven box is just $19.95USD with free shipping. For new members, they are having a special where your first box is $5USD but you need a certain promotion code. I have never tried Julep nail polishes before and they were having so many great promotions lately like get a box for $0.01USD for new members! I got this box last month but haven't had the chance to post it. I think these boxes are a great way for people to try out Julep nail polishes for great prices because one Julep nail polish retails for $14USD, which is crazy!

❀Leah
Leah is a gorgeous vivid green with shimmer. I would almost call it a lime green but not really. LOL Its is great spring and summer color. I heard that this polish is really sheer and requires about three coats to get it opaque as it appears in the bottle.
❀Megan
Megan is an aquamarine blue with shimmer. This is a gorgeous nail polish! I already have nail polishes similar to this color but I will love it anyway. I can't wait to try this. It reminds of the color of what a mermaid would wear on her nails, if mermaid painted their nails. LOL

❀Hayden
Hayden is a neon peach. This is first peach nail polish. It is so pretty! This shade is perfect for both spring and summer! It would probably look really gorgeous on tan skin.
❀Fast Dry Top Coat
I haven't tried this yet but hopefully, it does work. I have only one other fast dry top coat in my collection and its by Revlon. I really like it so I can't wait to try this one by Julep! Hopefully it will make my nail polish dry fast because I hate waiting for nail polishes to dry. It feels like it takes forever without any fast dry top coat. Haha!

I also got two samples included in my box. I think their boxes always comes with at least one sample. I haven't tried either samples yet but I can't wait. Both samples are 2mL, which is pretty small but I can't complain because free is free! The samples that I got are:
❀Julep Facial For Hands in Glycolic Hand Scrub
I can literally feel the beads though the packaging so I can't wait to try this. Who knows, if its really good, I might buy the full-size!
❀Julep Everyday SPF in Hand Cream SPF30
I never thought of buying lotion with SPF for my hands. Usually whenever I buy lotion with SPF, its for my face so this sample is interesting.

So I hope you all liked my little Julep Maven haul. Its not much! Also, if anyone was wondering which box I got, its called It Girl. I think this is the only box that comes with 4 nail polishes. Have you ever tried Julep nail polishes? What do you think about Julep Maven?
