Spotted: L'Oreal Limited Edition The Magic Top Coats Colour Riche

Hey everyone! I have been hearing so much about these Magic Top Coats from L'Oreal on YouTube. So many gurus were getting them before the collection was released from L'Oreal PR company and they looked really interesting. This collection comes with 6 base colors and 6 top coats. I have to admit, I love how the top coats look and now I am wishing I had bought one of each when I saw the display.

The regular nail polishes come in 580 Because You're Worth It, 460 Red Fate, 470 Haute Couture Red, 500 Violet Vixen, 530 Now You Sea Me, ad 560 Greycian Goddess. I just recently found out that three of the shades pictured in the display aren't part of the collection. I guess the employees accidentally put  340 Spice Things Up, 330 Smell The Roses, and 250 Wishful Pinking on accident or to take up space in the display. I hate it when that happens.

The Magic Top Coats are interesting because each of them have their own effect. Some are glitter, shimmers, mattes, and sheer. In the collection, there is 800 The Matte Velvet, 801 The True Gold, 802 The True Diamond, 803 The Sparklicious, 804 The Holohgraphic, and 805 The Shift Me. You guys have to admit, that the top coats are gorgeous! I am sure that they are flying off the shelves.

If you are interested in these, you should hurry before they are all sold out since they are limited edition. Let me know if you guys end up getting any and which ones appealed to you guys!

Please feel free to Comment, Like, Friend, & Follow!

My 50% Off Sears Haul

Hey everyone! I am not sure if you guys have heard but certain Sears have been clearancing their makeup department. I guess Sears haven't been doing so good in the makeup department so they decided to get rid of it and extend their jewelry department instead. I am just assuming since that is what it looks like is happening to my Sears. This haul was actually a few weeks ago. I would have posted it a bit earlier but I have been taking pictures on my new phone lately and it takes longer to edit the pictures. I might have to go back to taking pictures on my Nikon camera. Anyways, onto my haul. I was so excited when I found out that Sears was having this sale that I made sure to go straight there.

WHAT I BOUGHT:
◊ CoverGirl Eyeshadow Quads "215 Country Woods" & "265 Sheerly Nudes"
When I saw these two quads, I instantly thought of both Naked palettes. If you put these two quads together, you can probably have your substitute right there, especially if you are on a budget. I haven't tried these yet but I will probably be using these when I go travel since the Naked palettes are a bit long and take up room. I would try these right now but I have been really liking my BH Cosmetics 88 Warm Palette and I want to try to hit pan on a couple of shadows before I move on. LOL

◊ Nicole By OPI Drying Drops
I haven't tried this yet but I have been looking for fast drying top coats. Currently I have been using Seche Vite and I like it. The only things that I don't like it about is all the bad chemicals in it and the fact that once you get to the middle of the bottle, the formula gets goopy. I heard about the OPI Drying Drops from my friend, Marie and she swears by this stuff. It claims to dry to the touch in 60 seconds so that is a pretty good claim. I can't wait to try this. I just have to use up my current bottle of Seche Vite first. If you have tried both before, let me know which top coat you prefer.

◊ Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum "Black"
I had to get this because it came with a bonus clear serum as well. It was just too good of a deal to pass up. I am not sure if my current Lash Boosting Eyeliner has been helping my lashes grow but they do appear longer whenever I use it. I thought maybe just applying any other eyeliner would work as well but nope it only works with my PF Lash Boosting Eyeliner. Hopefully these will make them longer because I love me some long lashes and have been sad ever since my ex ELF Eyelash Curler cut most of them in half.

While I was browsing through the aisles, I noticed that they had a bunch of samples in the center of the aisles. Because of that, I made a beeline straight to it and took a couple. I didn't go all crazy since I didn't know if any of the employees were watching and if there was a limit. LOL I picked out three different types of samples and they are all skincare samples since that was all they had. I got two Retinol Night Cream, 3 of the Lumene Sensitive Touch Cream and a single sample packet of the Lumene Bright Skin Radiance Nectar. I didn't end up keeping these since I gave them all to my mom. I usually only keep the makeup samples and give the rest to my mom. If you have tried any of these before, please let me know so I could tell my mom which one to try first. LOL

Before I end my little haul, I just want to say sorry for the lack of posts lately. I am been crazy busy and only get one day in the week to relax to myself. I am going to try to post up all my swatches and reviews since those have been piling up like crazy. I am going to try to post up swatches of my shine Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick and the Maybelline highlighter that I recently hauled.
If you would like to see that haul, you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/08/mini-cvs-walgreens-haul.html

Have you ever tried any of these products?

Spotted: Kiss Gradation Polishes & Top Coat Trio

Hey everyone! I just got back from my CVS and thought that I should share some of the new displays that I was lucky enough to spot. I also came back with some goodies, so expect a haul post soon but right now, lets talk about the Kiss Gradation Polishes and the Kiss Top Coat Trio. I love how Kiss has already started coming out with sets for gradient manicures since its the latest trend. Usually drugstore brands are slow with nail polish trends so its nice to see one sooner than usual. I actually got really happy when I saw these sets for creating a gradient mani because I have tried this trend before and lets just say that I sucked at it. It came out looking horrible that I had to take it off my nails right away.

One of the sets on the display was the Kiss Top Coat Trio. This is a great set for those that love having different finishes with their nails. Plus I think this is great for beginners because they wouldn't have to buy so many polishes since they can change the look of the ones that they have with these top coats. There are three top coats in this set: gloss, matte, and shimmery. This is definitely a great set that I think many beginners and nail polish lovers will like. I haven't tried these yet so I don't know about the quality but they do seem pretty good.

The other two sets that were in the display were for creating gradient manicures and they are the Kiss Gradation Polishes. Each gradient set contains three polishes for three steps. Plus whats great about these is that you can also use the polishes on its own when you are not feeling the gradient trend. One set is for creating a pink gradient effect and another for a blue one. Can you guess which one I am going to pick up? LOL

So those are all the sets in this new display from Kiss. Please let me know if you spotted this new display at your store and whether you are going to be picking up any of these. I would also love to know what you guys think about gradation polishes and whether you think its still in trend. So far, I have seen this new display only at CVS but who knows it might pop up at Walgreens as well. By the way, these were $7.29 each at my CVS store.

QUESTIONS:
Have you seen this new display yet?
Are you still in love the gradation polishes?

CVS Haul (Feat. Maybelline, Sally Hansen, L'Oreal, Revlon, and Milani)

Hey everyone! I had some extra ECBs that were going to expire soon so I made sure to get my butt down to CVS to use them up. There were a couple of good sales going and some of them were buy a certain amount, get some ECBs back. Plus I had some coupons from the RedBox that made my transactions even sweeter and saved me even more money!! I didn't really intend to buy so much but most of these products were inexpensive with the coupons. If I had bought these products without my ECBs and coupons, then I would have paid a buttload more but with my deals, it was like I bought a couple and got the others for free!! Also, sorry for taking a long time to post up this haul. I have been meaning to post this up for a while but there were problems with the pictures uploading. For some reason, everytime I would upload a picture, the picture would be rotated sideways. Weird. Anyways, since this post is probably going to be posted late and if it ends up being posted before New Years, I just want to say HAPPY NEW YEARS to everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day with your family and friends.

Okay lets start off with the Maybelline products! I only bought three Maybelline eye products. I love Maybelline eye products because they are very great quality. I have been wearing false lashes everyday lately and thought that I should buy another gel liner so I bought the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner "Blackest Black". If you haven't tried this liner before, you should definitely give it a try. It lasts all day on my lid and dries fairly quickly. Plus its super pigmented and easy to apply. I already have one in Saphire, which I bought in the beginning of the year and its still creamy. Two other Maybelline products that I bought were the Maybelline 24HR Color Tattoo "Barely Beige" and the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara "Blackest Black". I have the waterproof version of this mascara and wanted to give the regular formula a try. Plus these mascaras are super inexpensive. Barely Beige is a color that I heard a lot of people loving so when I saw that there was one left, I decided to buy it to see what the big deal was about. I haven't given it a try yet but hopefully I will love it.

While I was there, I decided to get some nail products since the CVS RedBox printed me out some coupons for these products. With these coupons, I only paid under $0.50 for each nail product, which was a super great deal since each product regularly retails for $3-$4 each. I bought the Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Nail Hardener and the Revlon Nail Clipper. The Sally Hansen nail hardener claims to help prevent chipping, splitting, and cracking. I thought I should give this a try since my nails tend to chip and split at the ends sometimes. Hopefully this will help my nails become stronger because I hate how easily my nails can bend. The nail clippers were just an extra. Its never bad to have a bunch of nail clippers.

I also bought another foundation. I know, I know! I told myself and you guys that I won't be buying anymore foundations until I finish a couple up first but I just finished up my Almay foundation and thought that it was okay to buy another one to try out. I know that I still have two more backups of the Almay foundations but I wanted to give a newer one a try. I was unsure of whether to get the Neutrogena Shine Control a try but since its such a thick foundation, I decided to get the L'Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation "W4" a try. Plus I love how this one comes with a pump whereas the Neutrogena one doesn't. This foundation had been getting so many good reviews on it that I thought I should give it a try. Plus I love how it claim to give your skin a luminous look since I have been into that highlighting and brightening face look lately.

The last two products that I bought were from Milani. I love Milani and thought that I should try out more of some of their products. I only bought two Milani products but was happy that I got some coupons for these and saved so much money. The first Milani product that I bought is the Milani Shadow Eyes Eyeshadow Pencil "Champagne Toast". I heard that these are a lot like the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils so I decided to give this one a try. Plus it looks like it will be gorgeous to use as an all-over lid shade. I can also use in the inner corner of my eyes to give them a brighten look too! The second product that I bought was the Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eye Liner "Blackest Black". I love their regular pencil eyeliners so much that I wanted to try out a liquid one. This one is waterproof so it will be great to use. I haven't heard that many reviews on this but it could be becasue its a slightly new product. If you have tried this before, definitely let me know! I would love to know wht you guys think about this eyeliner.

So that is all for my haul. I can't wait to try out all these products. So far, I have tried the L'Oreal foundation and I really like it. If you want to see a review with pictures and swatches, let me know and I will post one up. I can post one up like my first impressions post on the Revlon Whipped foundation with pictures showing how well it covers up. If you have tried any of these products before, let me know. I would love to know what products you have tried and what you guys think about them.

Mini CVS Haul (Feat. Revlon Cosmestics)

Hey everyone! If you guys didn't know, last week CVS had a great sale on Revlon products. Sorry but this sale is now over. I didn't get much but just mainly went for the new Revlon ColorStay nail polishes. If you didn't already know, Revlon ColorStay nail polishes are new from Revlon for their ColorStay line. I just went to get the shade that I have been eyeing for a while now but when I got there, I ended up buying other Revlon products as well. LOL I hate it when that happens, like when you need to go to a store to buy one product that you really NEED but actually end up leaving with extra products that you just WANT. Let me know if you have the same dilemna as me whenever you go shopping.

What I bought:
REVLON LIP BUTTERS (X2)
As you can see, I couldn't stop myself from buying more Revlon Lip Butters. LOL This is the only line of lip products that I own the most of, which is crazy! I bought two Revlon Lip Butters in the shades 015 Tutti Fruti and 025 Peach Parfait. I have been looking for Peach Parfait for the longest time because I just love how gorgeous it looks on Emma Stone in the advertisements. This was one of the shades that was so hard to find. I am so glad that I found it. I haven't tried it yet but I am a little worried about this shade because looking at the actual product, through the clear window on top, I can see that it has shimmers (or glitters) in the actual lip product. I don't really like lip products with shimmers and/or glitters because sometimes the majority of them aren't small and fine shimmers and I hate that "gritty" feeling on my lips. Hopefully the shimmers in Peach Parfait are very fine that I won't even feel them on my lips.

REVLON COLORSTAY NAIL POLISH
This is a new line of nail polises from Revlon. I love the regular line of Revlon nail polishes. I haven't tried this yet so I can't really say if the formula and lasting power differs. I bought it in the shade 170 Coastal Surf, which is a gorgeous ocean blue. I heard that you are supposed to use this line of nail polishes with the ColorStay base and top coats as well for it to work as it claims. I didn't get any of them because I already have way too many base and tops coats as it is. Hopefully it will still work as good.

REVLON LIQUID QUICK DRY
This is supposed to instantly dry your nails while giving them a glossy and flawless finish. I haven't tried this yet. I actually wanted the Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat but I couldn't find it. I don't know if its discontinued, which I hope not because I really like it. I don't know if both of these top coats are similar in drying time but hopefully it works the same. I have seen a couple of reviews on the liquid quick dry and so far, all the ones that I have read are pretty good.

Revlon Liquid Quick Dry Top Coat
So I hope you all like my mini Revlon haul. Its not much but I am happy with the products that I bought. Plus I saved money, which makes me even more happy. LOL Have you tried any of the products featured in this haul? What do you think about the Revlon Lip Butters? Have you tried the new Revlon ColorStay nail polishes yet? What do you think about them? Have you ever tried the Revlon Liquid Quick Dry Top Coat?

My CVS Clearance Haul (Store #1)

Hey everyone! Guess what? CVS is having their clearance sale again. Its a month early this year but hey, that's fine with me. LOL They have a bunch of great items on clearance right now. I only bought a couple of items this time but I plan to go back to another CVS sometimes this week. The CVS that I went to were just starting to mark their items and I didn't have time to stay and check out all the items. Hopefully, the next time I go, I will be able to get more great items! All of the items that I bought in this haul are 75% off! They have a bunch of items 50% to 75% off! This is definitely the best time to go and buy a product thats on clearance that you have been wanting to try out!

What I bought:
  • Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails Strength Top Coat in Nude
  • (2) Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Polish in 460 Wet Cement
  • Almay Clear Complexion Makeup For Oily Skin in Neutral
  • Almay Clear Complexion Makeup For Oily Skin in Beige
Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails Strength Top Coat in Nude

(2) Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Polish in 460 Wet Cement
Almay Clear Complexion Makeup For Oily Skin in Neutral

Almay Clear Complexion Makeup For Oily Skin in Beige

The Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails Strength Top Coat wasn't on clearance. I had a $3USD off any Sally Hansen Top Coat CVS coupon so this top coat was under $1USD! YAY! I haven't tried it out yet so I can't wait to see if it really does make my nails hard and smoothes my ridges because my thumb nails have ridges.

If you haven't been to a CVS, you should definitely check it out either now or the next day before all the great items are gone! Not all stores have clearance stickers on their clearance items yet so don't get discourage if you go to your CVS and don't see any stickers. Just bring a bunch of items to the price scanner and check the prices. You can check out Noveau Cheap's Master List of Clearance Items (its updated regularly, which is awesome!). I can't wait to go back and buy some more stuff.

I hope you liked my CVS haul. This is probably going to be my first of many CVS clearance hauls! LOL Have you been to a CVS lately? Did you buy any items that were on clearance?
