Review (Plus Swatches): Wet N Wild ColoriCon Trio "Walking On Eggshells"

Hey everyone! Finally a review from me! Since I am in my blogging mood right now, I decided to do a review today. Hopefully I get to finish it and am able to post it up today. This review is going to be on the Wet N Wild ColorIcon Eyeshadow Trio in "Walking On Eggshells". It is definitely a gorgeous neutral trio. If you don't mind eye shadows with shimmery and frosty finishes, then I am sure that you would like this trio. Wet N Wild definitely makes great eye shadows and this is one of my favorites. I don't have much of their eye shadows but I am sure that one day, I would be able to get my hands on all of them. Let me know if you have any favorites from Wet N Wild and which ones you would like to see a review on. For me, I think this brand is great for those who are on a budget, or a makeup hoarder, or just someone who loves good quality, pigmented shadows. If you don't have this trio yet for some reason, you might want to know that these eyeshadows are all a dupe to some MAC eye shadows.

This trio has great neutrals for everyday eye looks. It comes with three shadows-hence trio. ;) I love how each shadow is labeled for its purpose, which is great for beginners but of course, you can use them anyway you want. I would generally use either the top or bottom shade as an all over lid shade and the crease either in the crease or as an outer corner shade. If you would like to see any eye looks using this trio, please let me know. I haven't posted any eye looks in while. My phone camera has gone crappy on me, which sucks because it used to take beautiful pictures.

The first shade in the trio is a gorgeous shimmery and frosty champagne. It is great for the brow bone and as an all over the lid shade. I heard that this is MAC Naked Lunch. If you want to see swatches of both shadows next to each other, I am sure that you can find them on Google. The second shade is great for the crease because its a satin brown. Although on my eyelids, it comes off as a coppery-gold because of my yellow undertone. This shade, I heard is a dupe for MAC Cork. I only own two MAC eye shadows and I rarely ever touch them because my sister gave them to me and they aren't shades that I would normally go for. For a person who rarely wears eye makeup, I don't know why she would pick out a green and a reddish copper shade.

As you can see from the swatches (below and above), these Wet N Wild eye shadows don't mess around. They are pigmented to the touch. If you are someone either starting to love makeup or someone with a budget but still wants good quality eye shadows, I would definitely recommend Wet N Wild eye shadows. I actually prefer their trios and their 8 pan palettes. They used to have 6 pan palettes but those got discontinued, which was shocking because they were popular too.

Like I said earlier, if you never tried these before, I highly suggest you go out and get yourself this trio and even try out their other eye shadow trios as well. To save you even more money, right now RiteAid is having BOGO FREE on all Wet N Wild cosmetics! The trios are probably around $1.99 to $2.99 each. I can't remember the exact price but with the sale, its even more inexpensive. I told myself not to buy anymore makeup until I sell some of the ones that I have but its hard not to want to buy more when stores have these rare makeup sale. Let me know if you guys end up going crazy for this sale and if you intend to buy anything. I would love to know! As always, thank you for reading!

Spotted: Wet N Wild Spoiled LE Lip & Nail Duo

Hey everyone! Here are some other sets that I have been meaning to post up before or around Christmas since these are holiday sets. I actually think theses are cute and are great to give to anyone who loves nail polishes and lip glosses. Each set comes with one Spoiled nail polish and one lip gloss. I actually don't know if Wet N Wild is going to permanently sell Spoiled lip glosses but they sure do look cute. You know what the designs on those Spoiled lipgloss remind me off? They remind me of the stripe design on those peppermint candies. Let me know if you think the same as well. Maybe that was what Wet N Wild was going for when they designed these. Anyways there are three different sets.

I have to say that the pink and purple one look nice. I have to say pink, of course because it's my favorite color but also because the purple set includes a purple glitter polish. Let me know if you have seen these yet at your CVS stores. I heard that these are actually ringing up as holiday clearance so if you are interested in these, you better hurry before your CVS store starts clearing out all the holiday clearance for Valentine's Day items. Let me know if you guys get any.

Spotted: Wet N Wild Powder Play Collection

Hey everyone! Yes! Wet N Wild came out with new eyeshadow palettes! I don't know if these are limited edition or permanent products but if you know, please leave a comment below. Sorry if this spotted post is a bit late. I think I spotted this at my CVS store last week. Right now, I am trying to type up all my spotted posts to have them scheduled on my blog so no more slacking off. I really want to try to make my blog the best that it can be. If you guys have any suggestions, please leave a comment below. I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

This collection includes five new eyeshadow palettes. I have to say that the neutral one in the middle caught my eyes but I didn't get it because it reminds me of Vanity which I am still using and loving. I am even wearing Vanity on my eyes today. I just love my neutral colors. The five palettes in this collection are Floral Values, Art in the Streets, The Naked Truth, Tunnel Vision, and I'm His Breezy. From this whole collection, there is only one with all mattes and that is Art in the Streets. The other palettes have different finishes like shimmer, glitter, satin and they each have at least one matte shadow. Each palette is $3.99 and what is even better is that they each have $1 off peelie coupons on them. Let me know if you have seen this display at your stores yet and if you have bought any.

Mini Lipstick Haul

Hey everyone! Finally its been a long time since my last haul. I have been trying not to haul so much unless I have rewards expiring or if there is a really good sale that I can combine with coupons. You know me and my coupons! I try not to pay full price for anything unless I have to or if its a gift for someone else. Anyways, I had some ECBs expiring at CVS so I knew that I had to go and use them. I didn't even know what I wanted since the CVS store that I went to didn't have any new products in yet so I had to figure what to buy from the permanent displays. I wanted something makeup and since I wanted the most out of my ECBs, I decided to look at the Wet N Wild permanent display.

I have really been loving the lipstick that I have, which is the Wet N Wild MegaLast lipstick in Coral-ine so I knew that I wanted to buy more. Sorry for the weird swatch picture of Coral-ine, it is night time right now while I am typing this post up so taking swatch pictures right now isn't the best since the lighting now sucks. I just took the pictures from my recent Favorites post and edited the pictures a bit. LOL Anyways, while I was at the store, I wish I had looked at swatches online prior to buying since I was standing there, in front of the display, for what felt like a hour trying to figure out which shade would be pretty when worn. LOL I am sure you all have felt the same way as well and have gone through this situation before, maybe even multiple times.

There are so many pretty shades in the Wet N Wild MegaLast lipsticks line but I decided to control myself and only buy three (for now). I decided to pick from a range of shades so that way I could get the feel of these lipsticks better. Since I already had a reddish shade in my collection from this line, I knew that I wanted to get a hot pink, baby pink, and a neutral nude. The shades that I decided to buy were:
◊ 905D Smokin' Hot Pink
◊ 901B Think Pink
◊ 902C Bare It All

Those are the only three that I bought but I am pretty sure that I will end up buying more from this line. Who knows, maybe someday, I will be able to get my hands on all the shades and have them all in my collection to try out and swatch for you guys! I will end up posting a swatch of these lipsticks soon but right now, I want to post up all my hauls first. LOL Hopefully you guys won't get mad seeing a bunch of haul posts one after the other. Anyways, I hope you guys liked my haul and thanks for reading my post! Definitely let me know if you have ever tried this line of lipsticks before.

My Late Favorites 2013

Hey everyone! Sorry for these late favorites. I don't know why these just slipped my mind. Usually I am a few days late with my favorites post but I am never this much late. I have been so busy lately and with all my spotted posts that I have been trying to get up, I guess I just put my favorites posts on my back burner and just forgot about it. I wasn't sure if I was even going to be posting this favorites up but since I already took the pictures and edited them, I am definitely going to be sure to use them otherwise it would have been a waste of time. I am not going to be naming this favorites my June Favorites but these are actually my May 2013 Favorites. I think I am just going to skip my June Favorites or maybe combine them with my July Favorites. Let me know what you guys think. Would you guys still want me to do my June 2013 Favorites or just skip or combine it with my July 2013 Favorites post? Definitely let me know by commenting below!

FOUNDATIONS & CONCEALERS:
Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Foundation "150 Classic Ivory" & "255 Natural Buff"
I have really been liking this foundation, especially with the Beauty Blender. I actually bought two because one was way too light for me so I bought one a bit darker to mix together to get my actual skin tone color. I like wearing this foundation but not during those hot days because it will definitely not stay on that long, especially for those with oily skin.
The Original Beauty Blender
I love this and now definitely see what all the hype is all about! If you haven't tried this, definitely go out and get one (or two) for yourself. I have tried dupes in the past and the original is definitely where its all at. Its so soft and applies foundation on like a dream. I love using this with my Revlon ColorStay Whipped foundation and with my Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse foundation as well. I just wish that it didn't stain so quickly with foundation.
Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer "Light"
This is unfortunately my last back-up. I wish that Maybelline didn't discontinue this concealer because I love it for my under eye areas. It just brightens up my under ere area and makes me look more awake on those tired days where I just want to go back to sleep.

BLUSHES:
Maybelline ExpertWear Blush "20 Pinch O' Pink
I love blushes and if its a pink blush, I am going to love it more. This is actually one of my favorite pink shades and actually my second repurchase of this blush.
Philosophy The Color Of Grace "Beauty Is Art"
This is a light pink blush. Its actually blush with a highlighter or luminizer surrounding the pink blush but what I like to do is just use my brush and swirl it all around the compact. It just gives my cheeks this perfect pink shade and I always get compliments whenever I wear this blush.
NYC Blushable Creme Stick "645U Big Apple Blush"
I don't really use creme blushes that often but if I had to chose only one creme blush from my entire collection, this one would be it. Its the most pigmented creme blush in my entire collection, that I have tried so far. I love using this underneath my powder blushes to give my blushes that extra staying power. I am sad to say that these NYC blushable creme sticks are discontinued but I have heard that some have been spotting them off and on at the Dollar Tree.

EYES:
Revlon ColorStay Brow Enhancer "Light Brown"
I bought this at CVS from their clearance sale. There was only this shade and a blonde shade. Although this is a bit light for my brows, I love the concept of this and how easy it is to apply onto the brows. I would definitely love it more if they had a dark brown. Light Brown does have a bit of a red undertone to it so its not the perfect color for me but it does last all day on my brows.
Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Felt-Tip Eyeliner + Serum "Deep Brown"
I love this eyeliner and use it pretty much everyday. I don't really like using black eyeliner that much (unless I am wearing false lashes) but for everyday, natural eye looks I love this. I am still a liquid eyeliner beginner so this felt-tip applicator is great and easy for me to use. I don't know if it really helps my lashes grow but they do look a teeny bit longer when I have this eyeliner on.
Physicians Formula Eye Shadow Matte Collection "Canyon Classics"
This is one of my favorite quads. It contains all matte shadows. I have a review with swatches already so I am not going to go into detail about this. LOL If you want to see my review with swatches, please click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2012/08/reviewswatches-physicians-formula-matte.html
Revlon ColorStay Eye Shadow Quad "505 Decadent"
I remember when I first got this and didn't really like it but now this quad has been growing on me. Its not the most pigmented quad that I have tried but the reason why I have been liking this is because I like using it for creating soft neutral eye looks. Plus I think once you get past the top layer, the eye shadows are more soft to the touch and more pigmented. I just love the two shadows on the left because they are great all over the lid colors.

LIPS:
Nivea Lip Butter "Raspberry Rose Kiss"
This was actually my first lip butter and as you can see, I am almost done with it. Time for me to buy some more! LOL This just smells so good and is very moisturizing on the lips. I also have a review on this, if you want to check it out, you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/02/review-swatches-nivea-lip-butter.html
Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Tint "Perky"
This is actually my favorite shade out of all the Tarte jumbo lip pencils that I own. Its just a natural pink shade. I like the smell of these and the minty feeling that it gives my lips whenever I apply it. This is a great pink that goes with pretty much any eye look and is great for any day. Its very pigmented and isn't drying on the lips.
Wet N Wild MegaLast Lipstick "909D Coral-ine"
This was actually my first Wet N Wild MegaLast lipstick and because of it, I have already bought about 4-5 more from this line. I was never a fan of matte lipsticks because they are always so drying on my lips and I am a person who needs to apply lip balm every couple of hours. This is a matte that isn't drying on the lips and I love how long it lasts on my lips as well. If you are looking for a drugstore matte lipstick that isn't too drying, you should definitely give this line a try!

So that is all for my May 2013 favorites!! Like I said earlier, I am sorry that I am posting this up so late since it is already July 2013 but I wanted to get it up anyways since I had already edited the pictures and watermarked them. LOL Hopefully it was still helpful and I will try not to let this happen again. If you have any questions about any of these products, definitely leave a comment below and I will definitely try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. Plus don't forget to check out my YouTube channel. I only have 2 videos right now but hopefully I will have some time to be able to post more since I had a fun time filming my second video because I was more comfortable. Also if you have any ideas on what my next video should be, leave a comment below as well. Thanks for reading!

What were your favorites for May or June?

Spotted: WnW $9.99 Set

Hey everyone! I just wanted to show you guys what I saw at my Walgreens. I have only seen this at Walgreens stores so it might be exclusive to Walgreens. This is a set of polishes and a nail file in a bag for $9.99 plus tax. The bag looks really cute and looks like it would be great for carrying makeup for travels. This set contains 4 Fast Dry polishes and 4 MegaLast polishes. The colors all look great for all year around since I can definitely see shades for the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter! I don't know the shade names but I am sure that some of you can figure it out, especially if you already own a couple of Wet N Wild polishes

QUESTIONS:
Have you seen this Wet N Wild nail polish set at your Walgreens yet?

Spotted: WnW Party On The Roof Collection

Hey everyone! Don't you guys love it whenever Wet N Wild comes out with new products or new sets? I do and I always get excited whenever they come out with new eye shadow palettes, like especially for their 8-pan palettes! I know thats just not me. Definitely comment below, if its you too! There are actually four new sets in this collection and each set retails for $4.99 plus tax. This is definitely a good deal because you save more when you buy in a set rather than buying the products individually. There are actually two sets that I am very interested in and they are the ones with the baked eye shadows. They also come with the WnW MegaWear mascara but I am more interested in the baked eye shadows since I missed out on the previous collection when they had similar collections released a while back. One palette contains blue shadows and the other contains a variety of pinks and purples.

The other two sets just contain a nail polish, lipstick, and lip gloss in each set. I can't remember the actual shades of each nail polish in each set but if you want to know, I can try to find out for you. Just let me know below.

So those are all the products that I saw were included in this collection. Definitely let me know if you have seen this collection at your stores and if you are going to be picking any of these sets up.

Have you seen these new sets from Wet n Wild?

Spotted: Wet N Wild Hot Rocks Nail Polish Collection

Hey everyone! I actually spotted this new display at a CVS store. They didn't have a bunch of new collections, only this one and a Maybelline one but I had already spotted that at Walgreens first. This post is going to be about some new polishes from Wet N Wild. They recently came out with a new collection, featuring their Fast Dry polishes, called Hot Rocks. According to the display, you can "rock the heat with these sizzling shades!"

There are 6 new polishes in this line and all of them are glitters! So you are a glitter fan, you will probably end up loving these! These polishes are $1.99 plus tax. The new shades in this collection are (from back to front):
◊ Rocking Rubies
◊ Caught On Sapphire
◊ Quartz Of Course
◊ Penny For You Thoughts
◊ Emerald The Crown Jewel
◊ 18K Gold

Spotted: Wet N Wild Color Wave Nail Polish Set

Hey everyone! I just wanted to show you guys what I recently spotted at my Walgreens. Its been a while since I've been to Walgreens but the last time that I went, they had a bunch of empty shelves so I knew that they were going to have a bunch of new displays soon. While I was there, I spotted a couple of new nail polishes. One of the sets that I spotted and am going to talk about in this post are the new Wet N Wild Color Wave sets.

According to the packaging, "Ride the color wave! This perfectly-coordinated collection gives each nail special attention with a spectrum of color. From light-to-dark or dark-to-light, you'll be struttin' the hottest new trend in nail. And with an extra glitter top-coat to boot, wear the trend like it's never been done before! When it comes to nails, there's no such thing as too much color!" They all contain mini nail polishes and only come in two different sets. One set contains mostly blues and the other set contains different shades of pink. Each set is $3.99 plus tax. They are all part of the Wild Shine line.

QUESTIONS:
Have you seen these new sets yet?
