Asian Goodies From My Mom

Hey everyone! Guess what? I have been meaning to post up this for such a long time but I thought I had lost the pictures either somewhere on my computer or on my phone. But I finally found them by stumbling onto them by accident! Yay! If you remember, a few months ago I had some posting because I didn't have time. Well it was because my mom had gone to Vietnam for a month and she bought me back some goodies! She actually bought a lot more back but I had to share some with my sister and of course, my mom also bought some for herself as well.

Of course, the first thing that I asked my mom to bring back for me was the Model21 Fashion Lashes. Even though I barely burned through my first stash of these lashes since the first time I went to Vietnam but I wanted some more just in case. Plus they are so much cheaper buying them in Vietnam than buying them here or online. I love these lashes! They re a bit long for my eyes but I always end up cutting off the ends anyways so it doesn't matter much to me. Plus these lashes come in a box with 10 sets of lashes! These normally retail for $6 a box but if you buy them in Vietnam (depending on the store), you can get three to four boxes for $6!! Crazy right! I just asked my mom to pick out whatever designs that she thought I would like and wear the most. She picked out all the designs with the #4. LOL She bought a bunch of lashes but I only took 5 boxes because I didn't want to seem greedy! The ones that I picked out were 4L and 4T.

Before my mom went on her vacay, I gave her my Missha BB Cream because she was looking for a great foundation with skincare benefits. I gave her the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream and my Missha Signature Real Complete BB Cream. Lets just say that she fell in love with both of them. Since her plane was making a pit stop somewhere in Korea, she decided to be on the lookout for some Missha products. I told my mom how much these normally retail for and she said that she was definitely going to pick some up because it would just be cheaper to buy there than to buy online. Good thing there was a Missha shop at the airport that my mom's plane stopped at because my mom went crazy and bought like 5 bottles of each. LOL My sister and I only took one of each and told my mom to keep the rest. Plus if we ever run out, we can always ask her for some more. My mom saved so much money buying them directly than by having me order them online. Plus the lady working there gave my mom a ton of samples as well. My mom got a bag full of Super Aqua Marine Stem Cell Intensive Serum. I only took four to try out and my mom kept the rest.

The last thing that my mom bought for me as well was the Andrea ModLash Adhesive. I didn't ask my mom to buy my any lash glue because I am trying to finish up my DUO lash adhesive. I also wanted to try the new Revlon one but I can never find it anywhere so I am always on the lookout for that one. I guess the place where my mom bought the Model21 lashes from got my mom to buy some lash glue as well. LOL I haven't given this a try yet but if you would like a review, definitely let me know. This is in the color Dark, which will be the first time with me since I always buy the clear one from DUO.

So that is all that my mom bought back for me, beauty-wise!! Yay! I always love it when people go to Vietnam and bring me back goodies, especially the false lashes! Those are my favorite lashes! Haul From A Lovely Friend (You Know Who You Are)

Hey everyone! Guess what I got some more goodies this week. This time I got it from a lovely friend and I am so lucky enough to have meet her! You know who you are, girl! LOL I actually got these products before I received my winning prizes from Gloria ♥. My friend found out that I was curious about Missha products and decided to give me some of the samples that she got from her purchase. She is so kind to give me these. I thought that she was just going to give me some Missha Perfect Cover B.B Cream samples but instead she surprised me with a bunch more goodies! Joan, if you are reading this, you are the sweetest friend ever and thank you again for everything!

What I got:
❀ Missha Perfect B.B Deep Cleansing Oil
This is sort of like a makeup remover but made especially to remove B.B cream. It is a botanical deap cleansing oil for the removal of B.B creams. I guess B.B cream is a little hard to remove because this product is made especially for it. LOL I haven't used it yet. I have just been using my usual makeup removers. Once I do use this a few times, I will try to do a review on it.

❀ Missha Perfect B.B Cream (x2)
Joan was generous enough to give me two different shades of samples. The shades that she gave me to try are No. 23 Natural Beige and No. 31 Golden Beige. No. 23 Natural Beige is the perfect shade for me! It matches my skin tone perfectly! I have only worn this three times and so far, I am loving it! It doesn't irritate my skin or anything. I am probably going to use this for now on instead of my usual foundations. I haven't tried the No. 31 Golden Beige one yet because I already fell in love with Natural Beige. LOL If you don't know what a B.B cream is, it is sort of like a foundation but lighter that orginated in Asia. It is said to help lighten the skin tone while reducing thr appearance of wrinkles and blemishes. Plus it has SPF42, which is great as well. I generally use one layer of this on my whole face and then add another layer onto where I have redness and blemishes.

❀ Missha M B.B Boomer
I have tried this once so far and I think its sort of like a brightening primer for your B.B cream. It says that it makes your B.B cream last longer and gives your skin a brighter appearance with the pink pearl and soft afterfeel. You just apply this before you apply your B.B cream. Its very moisturizing and has the feel of a face moisturizer. I think that this is a great primer because I have tried using the B.B cream alone and it just doesn't have that same nice look.

❀ Stila Illuminating Finishing Powder in Rose Gold
This is my first Stila product!! My friend said that this was her favorite highlighter. She bought this as her back-up before but I am guessing since she probably has hit pan on her first one, she decided to give her back-up to me. LOL You are too funny, girl! I have been using this as an all-over finishing powder over the B.B cream and it just gives my face that extra glow, which I am loving. It is pretty shimmery so I really need a light hand when using this.
❀ Smashbox Fushion Soft Lights in Dusk
This is also my first Smashbox product! I have already tried an eye look with this because I love neutral shadows. Its not the most pigmented product and its somewhat awkard to have an eyeshadow brush in there in get the exact color but other than that, I still love it. Even though its hard to get the brush in there for the exact color, I do like how small and compact it is because it makes it so easy to bring with you during the day for any touch-ups.

❀ AHA Brazilian Peel
At first I didn't really know what this was. I thought it was an actual needle with some kind of lotion inside but its actually a DIY professional strength treatment. LOL Its supposedly the first professional strength peel for at-home use. Its said to be safe and gentle but 5x stronger than than your typical low strength peels. I haven't tried this yet just because I am afraid that it might burn. LOL Yes, I know I am a scaredy cat. This brazilian peel is supposed to brighten, tone, firm, and smooth out your skin tone for a younger look.
❀ Dermalogica Daily Defense Block SPF15
This is basically like a face moisturizer to use after washing your face. I haven't tried this yet or anything from the Dermalogica brand before. I am not sure if this sample is meant for females. It might be meant for males because on the back of the sample, it says to use after shaving, apply to your face, neck, ears, and the back of your neck so I am pretty sure that this is for the boys instead of for ladies. LOL
❀ Dermalogica Intensive Eye Repair
I haven't tried this either but its basically an eye cream to reduce the look of prematurely-aged skin. You would just apply this onto the eye area and you can wear this alone or under your makeup.

Overall I love pretty much everything even the ones that I haven't tried yet. If you would like to see some swatches and/or reviews on a certain product, just comment below and I will try to do one! This month, I am especially loving the Missha B.B creams and now I know why everyone has been raving about Missha products. I thought I was never going to be able to get my hands on any Missha B.B creams and thought that I was just going to have to buy the Neutrogena one that has just recently come out but now I guess I don't have too. But I can't promise that for sure because I still want to try it out and compare it to the real orginal B.B creams. LOL Plus if there is a sale going on with the Neutrogena B.B cream then you know that I will be buying one because I love sales. LOL So thank you again Joan for everything. I Won GLORiA ♥'s Giveaway!

Hey everyone! If you haven't seen from my title, I won GLORiA ♥'s giveaway! Gloria was having a giveaway on Luuux last month and I was one of the lucky three to win! I was so excited when I found out. After reading my email from her, I started doing my happy dance. LOL It was pretty funny! It didn't take that long for my package to arrive. I didn't even know when it was coming so it was a complete surprise when I saw it on my doorstep. I immediately grabbed it up and starting opening it in the trunk of my car! That's how excited I was because I didn't even bother opening the door to my house. I just couldn't wait. Everything came all neatly bubble wrapped! Plus there was those pink peanut foam thingys at the bottom. Plus it came with a cute Hello Kitty note as well! I love Hello Kitty! Gloria, you have such the neatest and pretty handwriting! LOL So thank you, Gloria! You made my day! If you don't know who GLORiA ♥ is, you should definitely check her out. She is a sweet, pretty girl who does great posts. Most of the posts that I have seen from her are from the Health & Beauty and Fashion universe! I especially love her hauls and her outfit of the days!

Okay, so last month, Gloria was having a giveaway consisting of a bunch of great prizes, which were mainly Korean brand cosmetics. I have never tried Korean cosmetics before this giveaway so I thought that it was a great chance to try it out if I won. I never would have thought in a million years that I was going to win. I have tried this once so far and I think its sort of like a brightening primer for your B.B cream. ❀ Missha The Style Crystal Nail Polish in JRD01
This is such a gorgeous nail polish! I can't wait to wear this! Its a shimmery nail polish. Its a pink with silver shimmers in it! I have never tried Missha nail polishes before and didn't even know that Missha sold nail polishes. LOL I just knew that they had the best B.B creams! The packaging is very unique. I am not sure if you can tell from the pictures. I do love the cap of the polish, its sort of like the shape of a slanted heart. Sorry, I didn't take a picture of the top of the bottle, so you can see.
❀ Peripera Perfume Nail Polish in P003 Pink Shot
Okay, the bottle of this nail polish is just so freaking adorable! The top of the polish is in the shape of a cat with its' tail sticking straight up! I hope you can see it from my pictures! Its just so cute! I have never tried this brand of polish before so this is my first time hearing about it. I wonder if all their polish bottles look like this. Pink Shot is sort of a milky pink with blue, purple, green irridescents. Its such a pretty polish!

❀ Missha Signature Glam Art Rouge in SPK101
Oh my freaking goodness! I thought that I was happy when I got my hands on the B.B cream but when I saw this lipstick, I just instantly fell in love with it! So thank you again, Gloria for this! I love you, girl! LOL I hope you can see from the pictures how absolutely gorgeous the packaging on this lipstick is! I just love how the lipstick cap looks and how everything is gold! It is the most beautiful lipstick that I have ever seen! I took a couple of pictures of the lipstick so everyone can see how beautiful the packaging of it is! I know that if I ever use up this lipstick, I am definitely going to be keeping the case of it. Its just so pretty that I am going to keep it for as long as I can. LOL

❀ Castle Dew Over Setting Tint Pearl Effect Makeup in #1 Cherry Red
At first, I didn't know what this was because it looks like a jelly consistency inside the tube. LOL I assumed that it was just a simple lipgloss but its actually a plumping lipgloss. I haven't tried this yet. It is a blood red color! I can't wait to give this a try!

❀ Peripera Wonder Kiss Gloss in #5 Glam Beige
I really like the box that this came in. LOL Its pink and it sort of has little lace details around the box, if you can see from my pictures. I would call this lipgloss a nude with silver shimmers. I haven't tried this yet but I do love the overall packaging. Korean products sure do have cute packaging!

❀ Aloe Vera Face Mask
I haven't tried this face mask out yet because I have so many that I have bought and haven't tried yet. LOL I can't wait to try this though! The whole packaging is in Korean or Japanese, I can't tell. LOL So I am assuming that it has Aloe Vera in it. This definitely looks like a great product to try, plus it would probably be fun wearing this to scare my little brother with. LOL
❀ Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer
I don't really know what this sample is, so if anyone knows that it is, could you please let me know. LOL Thanks! I haven't looked it up online yet so I might give that a try after I post this up.

 ❀ Chupa Chupo Lollipops
Haha, I remember I used to eat these when I was a little kid but I haven't seen these for so long. It brings back so many memories. When my brother saw these on the table, he immediately starting grabbing one while I was trying to take pictures. LOL He thought he was being all sneaky but I caught him with the picture as my proof. LOL So far, the only ones that we have tried are the Watermelon ones, which is my little brother's favorite.

All-in-all I am in love with all the products that I got, especially the Missha Signature Glam Art Rouge Lipstick and the Missha B.B products. No other lipstick can ever compare to that lipstick. LOL I just love the packaging so much that I wish I could buy some more solely on how gorgeous it looks! LOL I am so lucky enough to win this giveaway so I want to again say thank you to Gloria! You don't know how much this means to me! I can't wait to try out everything that I haven't tried out yet. I am so glad that I was able to try out the Missha B.B creams! I know that I have said this a bunch of times, but thank you Gloria!!
