Spotted: Maybelline By FaceStudio Master Bronze

Hey everyone! So many new products are coming out at the drugstore that I am getting excited to see everything in the stores. Some new products that I have seen are from Maybelline. They recently came out with some new bronzers for the upcoming summer. What makes these unique in the drugstore is that these are matte bronzers. Now if you love drugstore makeup as much as me, you know that matte drugstore bronzers are hard to find. Even harder to find are good matte bronzers. I haven’t tried these new bronzers from Maybelline but if you have, please leave a comment below letting everyone know what you think about these. These come in three different shades. I don’t know if these are limited edition or permanent but the three shades are 310 Weekend Bronze, 320 Vacation Bronze and 330 Paradise Bronze. I actually spotted this display at both my Walgreens and CVS stores. Depending on your region and stores, these bronzers will range from $8 to $9. Let me know if you have seen these bronzers and whether you are looking forward to trying out these new bronzers.

Spotted: Maybeline New Dream Wonder Powder

Hey everyone! How is your day so far? I hope that everything is going great for you guys? I still can't believe that its already 2014. I still forget sometimes and write 2013 whenever I write the date down on forms and etc. LOL Let me know if you guys have the same problems as well. That always happens to me each year for a couple of days before I just remember automatically. I am so excited that its 2014 because lots of makeup brands are coming out with new products and all the good tv shows are coming back from their mid-season or season break! Let me know which shows are you guys most excited for.

Okay onto the makeup. I actually spotted this collection at my Walgreens store. It was located right in front of the cashiers so I know for sure that both them and the customers in line were staring at me taking pictures of makeup. Haha! Sometimes when I do take pictures of makeup displays and people are right there, I wonder if they even know what the pictures are for. Anyways, if you guys didn't know already Maybelline came out with new powder foundation. What's funny with these is that these claim to be "the first powder with less talc" and because of that they "feel like powderless powder for a creamy glide and smooth flawless finish." I just thought that claim was funny because it would have been better to just make the powder with no talc than less talc.

I haven't tried these yet but not sure if I would buy them anytime soon since I already have a ton of powders that I need to finish up first. If this goes on sale or if I run out of my numerous powders then I might just have to buy this to try out. Let me know if you tried these yet. I do wish that they came with testers like other Revlon and CoverGirl displays are having.

Spotted: Maybelline Sensational The Buff Collection

Hey everyone! If you are a lip junkie who loves nude shades then Maybelline is definitely calling your name! They came out with a new collection of ColorSensational lipsticks in all nude shades called The Buff. Maybelline calls these fleshtone pigments. Maybelline claims that you will definitely find your perfect nude shade in this collection.

In this collection, there are 10 new nude shades. If you are a fan of nude lipsticks then I am sure you would fall in love with each and every one of these shades! From left to right, the shades are: 910 Bare All, 915 Blushing Beige, 920 Nude Lust, 925 Maple Kiss, 930 Truffle Tease, 935 Sin-A-Mon, 940 Touchable Taupe, 945 Stormy Sahara, 950 Untainted Spice, and 955 Espresso Exposed. Let me just say that I love the names of these shades. They all sound sexy or delicious. LOL I think if you haven't found your perfect nude lipstick yet, you will probably find it in this collection.

Spotted: Maybelline New FaceStudio and ExpertWear Products

Hey everyone! I meant to get this post uploaded on New Years since I took these pictures on New Years Eve. Yes I actually went shopping the day before New Years. I didn't want to do it because I knew it was going to be crowded as heck but I had to do it because I had a $10ECB that was expiring on 12/31 and knowing me, I forgot about it and found out last minute. I was afraid if is went tomorrow and tried to use it, my store wouldn't let me because it was too high of a value. Man let me tell you, there were some crazy ass drivers out there. Some people either pretended that they forgot how to drive and park or they just didn't care. The parking lot was crowded as hell and it was so hard to find a decent parking spot because a lot of people were parking in two spots. I had to park at a takeout place and walk my butt to CVS because I didn't want anybody parking too close to me and closing me in like they did with a lot of other cars. Let me know if you guys were brave enough to go out at night on New Years Eve and if you dealt with any drama during it.

Anyways enough with my drama, onto the makeup! While I was at CVS trying to find stuff to spend my ECB on, I found a whole Maybelline display full of new makeup. I did want to buy some to try out but I hate how this CVS store always puts those ugly security stickers on all the makeup. They are so hard to take off whenever I buy them and want to take pictures. Plus they are just generally ugly in pictures and in person. I wish people didn't steal because both the CVS and Walgreens in my neighborhood cover all the makeup with these stickers and the stickers are so huge that sometimes the employees put them over the shades names or over the clear windows of the makeup making it hard to see the actual color. Let me know if your stores are like this too.

Anyways let's ignore the ugly security stickers on the side and talk about these blushes. LOL These are the Maybelline MasterGlaze Glisten Blush Sticks. These are meant to give you a sheer color on the cheeks. These sort of remind me of the NYC Blushable Creme Sticks because it's in a stick form. There are six new shades and I don't know if Maybelline is going to come out with new shades or if these are just limited edition products. I should have read the display more or taken a picture of the whole display in one picture but I was rushing to get out of the store because it was packed. The six shades are, from left to right: 10 Just Pinched Pink, 20 Pink Fever, 30 Coral Sheen, 40 Warm Nude, 50 Make A Mauve, and 60 Plums Up. I love how they have every shade that you can use year around. They have pinks for the spring or year around, corals and nudes for the summer, and purples for the winter.

Now onto the new powder blushes! If you have been following me for a while then you would know how much of a blush addict I am, especially when it comes to pink shades! I love light pinks to bright pinks. If its any shade of a pink blush, chances are I will fall in love with it! This line is the new FaceStudio MasterHi-Light blushes/ These claim to give you color and shimmer for a natural glow. These will definitely be great for the summer and spring. Plus I love the design on the actual blushes themselves. I don't know what that design is called but I guess I will either call it plaid or the weave design, if you guys know what I mean. Haha! Hopefully you guys do and I am not just crazy. There are six new shades in this collection and I got to say, I think the pinks would be the first ones I would love to try.

Now onto the eyeshadows! Maybelline already has these eyeshadow quads out but apparently decided to change the packaging again. Do you guy remember the other times when Maybelline changed the packaging on their ExpertWear eyeshadow quads? I remember they used to be blue and then black. Then they decided to change the size of the shadow pans and make them different sizes in the quads and now they change the packaging again to just a straight rectangle quad. I actually like this design of the quad way more because it looks more sleek and plus it makes it easy to stack upon one another whereas the old ones were a bit curvy on the sides and the top so they wouldn't lay flat on top of one another when stored away. I don't think these are new shades in the quads since some of the names are familiar like Amethyst Smokes and Chai Latte. Let me know if you like the packaging on these more.

Now onto the new single shadows! Again, Maybelline changed the packaging on these. I love the flat packaging on these as well. It makes them look more sleek compared to their old curvy ones. Let me know if you feel the same way as well. I don't know if Maybelline reformulated these shadows but if you know, please comment below. So far, the ones that I have seen in this collection are all neutral shades. Thanks for reading everyone! If you guys have tried any of these products yet, please let me know because I would love to hear your thoughts on them!

Spotted: Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser

Hey everyone! First off, how cute is this new collection from Maybelline? I was definitely attracted to the cute blue and pink packaging when I first saw these. It sort of reminds me of the cute packaging on Japanese products. This new collection is the Maybelline "Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser" and these claim to give you a poreless finish. I am guessing that these are pretty much similar to the Benefit PoreFessional Primer and they even have the similar baby blue packaging. I actually haven't tried the Benefit PoreFessional Primer so I can't compare the two but if you have, please leave a comment below telling us your thoughts. This claims to "visibly blue pores without clogging them and smooths and refines skin."

I haven't tried this yet but I know for sure, once it goes on sale, I will definitely be grabbing one to try. I like the concept on how it claims to give you a poreless finish. Who wouldn't want to try out a product with that kind of claim and get a flawless face?

Spotted: Maybelline ColorSensational Color Elixir Liquid Color Balm

Hey everyone! While going shopping for clearanced Halloween items like inexpensive candy to snack on. Haha! That probably wasn't a good idea since chances are, my face will be breaking out in a few days because of all the consumed chocolate. Let me know if you did the same thing too and will probably be regretting it in a few days time. Anyways, while I was at Walgreens looking at their 75% off clearance, I made a note to check out to see if they had any new makeup displays as well. I did end up seeing a couple so you will be seeing them being posting up.

This one will be on the Maybelline ColorSensational Color Elixir Liquid Color Balm. These claim to give off saturated color, sensuous balm care, and a polished lip shine. When I first saw these, I thought that they are so cute because they are sort of like mini travel size lipglosses. Let me just say that I am glad with the shade range that Maybelline came out with for this collection. I also love how there are purples and dark lip shades, which are definitely great for the fall and winter. I think there are two of each shade in this display so there is a total of 20 different shades so far in this collection.

Also if these sound sort of familiar, they do remind me a bit of the Almay Color+Care Liquid Lip Balms but thats mainly because they are both liquid lip balms. If you want to see that post on the Almay Liquid Lip Balms, you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/05/spotted-almay-colorcare-liquid-lip.html Definitely let me know if you have seen this display at your store yet and if you will be picking up a couple for your collection.

Spotted: Maybelline LE Gilded in Gold Holiday 2013 Collection

Hey everyone! Maybelline just recently introduced a limited edition collection for the holidays. This collection is called Gilded in Gold and it includes three shimmer blushes. What caught my eyes with these is that the blushes have all shimmer finishes. A lot of people have been saying that the appearance of these blushes are similar to the Chanel ones because of the hounds-tooth/tweed design. I can't recall which blush or what collection the Chanel one was from but if you know, please comment below to let anyone else know.

The three blushes in the collection are 110 Plum Shimmer, 115 Bronze Tapestry, and 105 Pink Weave. Some people would probably see Bronze Tapestry as a bronzer because of the color but from the swatches that I have seen, I think there are some that can pull it off as a blush but that just depends on their skin tone. It will definitely look gorgeous for that golden glow but that just depends on your preferences. Let me know if you have seen this collection yet. I heard that Maybelline is releasing this collection in November but my store had it out early. If you had the chance to try out one, which shade would you get? I would probably get Pink Weave since I love pink blushes. Typical me!

Spotted: Maybelline Fall 2013 On The Runway Nail Polishes

Hey everyone! Here is another display from the Maybelline On The Runway collection. My last post showed the lip glosses in the collection but this time, this post will feature their nail polishes. If you love buying fall shades, this collection would definitely be for you.

All the shades look pretty to wear for the fall and winter. There is even a gorgeous blue-teal (NOTE: I am not good at describing colors). The model is actually wearing it on her nails on the display. I really like that shade and was almost going to buy it but I wanted to look up swatches first to see how opaque it will be after the first coat. If you know, please comment below.

Spotted: Maybelline Fall 2013 On The Runway Lip Glosses

Hey everyone! I have so many spotted posts that I need to write up to post. Hopefully I will be able to get all of them up soon, especially before they start being old news. LOL If you have any questions, most of these new displays were found at my local RiteAid store. In my area, the only place quick with new displays is RiteAid, which can be both a bad and a good thing. I say good because if there is a product that I want and can't wait to get my hands on. The bad thing is that new displays get moved fast so you would have to go there constantly because new displays don't always stay there long.

Anyways, one new display that I spotted was from Maybelline. It is included in their Fall 2013 On The Runway collection. This display features their lipglosses. I personally haven't tried any of these lip glosses before but I have heard great reviews on them. I do have to admit that there are some gorgeous shades in this collection, especially for the fall and some that I can see if I had would wear all year around. Definitely let me know what you guys think.

QUESTION:
Have you seen this collection yet?

Have you ever tried these Maybelline lipglosses?

Please feel free to Comment, Like, Friend, & Follow!

My Birthday Ulta Haul

Hey everyone! If you didn't know, my birthday was actually just a month ago and Ulta was actually nice enough to send me a $10 off anything Birthday coupon since I am a Platinum member. To tell you the truth, being a Platinum member isn't anything special. So far the $10 off coupon is the best thing but thats it. I haven't gotten any good offers or been invited to any special events (if they had any). Anyways, since they sent me the coupon, I knew that I couldn't let it go to waste. I made sure that I was going to take advantage of it before it expires. LOL The only bad thing was that I didn't know what I wanted when I walked into the store.

WHAT I BOUGHT:
Anastasia Bold Brows Kit "Dark Brown"
I have been wanting to try out the Anastasia Brow Powder Duo for the longest! I also wanted to try the Tarte Brow Mouse as well but my Ulta didn't have my shade in stock. Oh well, saves me money! LOL Anyways since I saw that Anastasia came out with this kit, I knew that I had to get it. It was such a good deal since it retails for $36. It comes with a full size brow powder duo, full size clear brow gel, and a mini brush. The brow powder duo itself retails for $23 and the brow gel is $22 so if I had bought them individually, I would end up paying way more than what I had paid for the kit. So if you have been wanting to try out the brow powder duo, you should definitely go and get this kit before its all sold out. I have been trying out the brow powder duo since I bought it and I have really been loving it. I love it way more than my beloved ELF Studio Eyebrow Kit but I wish that it wasn't on the pricey side. LOL

Maybelline Nail Polish "370 Shocking Seas"
I actually don't know the reason why I bought this since I already have so many other polish brands in this color but I think it was because I had a coupon for it. LOL Dang, me and my coupons! I will probably end up giving this polish away or saving it for a future contest, which I do plan to have. I just need to figure out all the details and how to have one.

As always, whenever I made a purchase at Ulta, I always make sure to try to remember to ask for samples at the checkout. Sometimes I do forget and regret it but I always try to remember. I actually got two samples and one of them is one that I was really happy to get! Can you guys guess which one? Do you have your guess yet? 3-2-1 It was the Benefit Stay Flawless Primer. Let me know in the comments below if you guys guess right. LOL Anyways, Benefit recently came out with a new primer and I was so happy to have gotten this as a sample. I have been using it everyday since and I must say that I really like it. If it wasn't on the pricey side, I would definitely purchase the full size of it. The other sample that I got was a RedKen Diamond Oil. Its supposed to make your hair really shiny so I am not sure if I am going to try this since I don't really want my hair to look oily shiny but we will see.

Anyways, that was my entire birthday haul from Ulta! So far, I am really loving the Anastasia brow powder but I am a bit peeved that right when I finally buy it, they change the packaging to black and gold instead of a shiny silver. LOL Don't you guys hate that when that happens? Don't be surprised when you see this in my monthly favorites. By the way, I still need to post up my July Favorites and hopefully I will get everything done this week. Sorry for the delay. Hope you guys liked my mini haul and hope to talk to you guys later!

Are you a Platinum member at Ulta?
Have you tried the Anastasia Brow Powder Duo yet?
Have you tried the new Benefit primer?

Mini CVS & Walgreens Haul

Hey everyone! This is probably one of the smallest hauls that I have ever posted online. I actually bought these in the beginning of July but haven't had much time to post it since I wanted to post up all the spotted posts first. Since I am finally done with all my spotted posts, now is finally the time to post up my hauls that I have been regretting to do. This is just a mini haul that I bought at both CVS and Walgreens. An item from each store. I got to admit, it actually felt a bit weird to walk up to the registers with just one item. LOL Let me know if you guys ever felt the same as well.

WHAT I BOUGHT:
Maybelline Touch Of Light Luminizing Face Glow
This was what I bought at my Walgreens store. It was on clearance for $1 plus tax. I think this was a limited edition item that came out a while back so I was surprised to see it again. I didn't hear much about it when it first came out but I decided to try it out anyways since it was only a dollar plus tax. So far, I have been regretting on buying this but that could be because its summer right now and I don't want my face to be on the glowy side. Maybe I will like this better in the winter.

Revlon Super Lustrous Shine Lipstick "820 Pink Cognito"
I bought this at my CVS store.I love the Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks so I was excited to try out the new line of Shine finish lipsticks. I do wish I had bought two more to try out since different shades can be different. Pink Cognito is definitely a sheer lipstick but I like it because its a better than my lips kind of color. I can wear it and still have my makeup look natural. Plus I don't have to worry if it fades away weird.

That is all for my mini haul. If you would like to see swatches of any of these products, please let me know by commenting below! If you have tried any of these products as well, I would love to hear (or read LOL) your opinions! Also since I might be picking up two more shades from the Shine line, if you guys recommend any shades, please let me know!

My Late Favorites 2013

Hey everyone! Sorry for these late favorites. I don't know why these just slipped my mind. Usually I am a few days late with my favorites post but I am never this much late. I have been so busy lately and with all my spotted posts that I have been trying to get up, I guess I just put my favorites posts on my back burner and just forgot about it. I wasn't sure if I was even going to be posting this favorites up but since I already took the pictures and edited them, I am definitely going to be sure to use them otherwise it would have been a waste of time. I am not going to be naming this favorites my June Favorites but these are actually my May 2013 Favorites. I think I am just going to skip my June Favorites or maybe combine them with my July Favorites. Let me know what you guys think. Would you guys still want me to do my June 2013 Favorites or just skip or combine it with my July 2013 Favorites post? Definitely let me know by commenting below!

FOUNDATIONS & CONCEALERS:
Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Foundation "150 Classic Ivory" & "255 Natural Buff"
I have really been liking this foundation, especially with the Beauty Blender. I actually bought two because one was way too light for me so I bought one a bit darker to mix together to get my actual skin tone color. I like wearing this foundation but not during those hot days because it will definitely not stay on that long, especially for those with oily skin.
The Original Beauty Blender
I love this and now definitely see what all the hype is all about! If you haven't tried this, definitely go out and get one (or two) for yourself. I have tried dupes in the past and the original is definitely where its all at. Its so soft and applies foundation on like a dream. I love using this with my Revlon ColorStay Whipped foundation and with my Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse foundation as well. I just wish that it didn't stain so quickly with foundation.
Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer "Light"
This is unfortunately my last back-up. I wish that Maybelline didn't discontinue this concealer because I love it for my under eye areas. It just brightens up my under ere area and makes me look more awake on those tired days where I just want to go back to sleep.

BLUSHES:
Maybelline ExpertWear Blush "20 Pinch O' Pink
I love blushes and if its a pink blush, I am going to love it more. This is actually one of my favorite pink shades and actually my second repurchase of this blush.
Philosophy The Color Of Grace "Beauty Is Art"
This is a light pink blush. Its actually blush with a highlighter or luminizer surrounding the pink blush but what I like to do is just use my brush and swirl it all around the compact. It just gives my cheeks this perfect pink shade and I always get compliments whenever I wear this blush.
NYC Blushable Creme Stick "645U Big Apple Blush"
I don't really use creme blushes that often but if I had to chose only one creme blush from my entire collection, this one would be it. Its the most pigmented creme blush in my entire collection, that I have tried so far. I love using this underneath my powder blushes to give my blushes that extra staying power. I am sad to say that these NYC blushable creme sticks are discontinued but I have heard that some have been spotting them off and on at the Dollar Tree.

EYES:
Revlon ColorStay Brow Enhancer "Light Brown"
I bought this at CVS from their clearance sale. There was only this shade and a blonde shade. Although this is a bit light for my brows, I love the concept of this and how easy it is to apply onto the brows. I would definitely love it more if they had a dark brown. Light Brown does have a bit of a red undertone to it so its not the perfect color for me but it does last all day on my brows.
Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Felt-Tip Eyeliner + Serum "Deep Brown"
I love this eyeliner and use it pretty much everyday. I don't really like using black eyeliner that much (unless I am wearing false lashes) but for everyday, natural eye looks I love this. I am still a liquid eyeliner beginner so this felt-tip applicator is great and easy for me to use. I don't know if it really helps my lashes grow but they do look a teeny bit longer when I have this eyeliner on.
Physicians Formula Eye Shadow Matte Collection "Canyon Classics"
This is one of my favorite quads. It contains all matte shadows. I have a review with swatches already so I am not going to go into detail about this. LOL If you want to see my review with swatches, please click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2012/08/reviewswatches-physicians-formula-matte.html
Revlon ColorStay Eye Shadow Quad "505 Decadent"
I remember when I first got this and didn't really like it but now this quad has been growing on me. Its not the most pigmented quad that I have tried but the reason why I have been liking this is because I like using it for creating soft neutral eye looks. Plus I think once you get past the top layer, the eye shadows are more soft to the touch and more pigmented. I just love the two shadows on the left because they are great all over the lid colors.

LIPS:
Nivea Lip Butter "Raspberry Rose Kiss"
This was actually my first lip butter and as you can see, I am almost done with it. Time for me to buy some more! LOL This just smells so good and is very moisturizing on the lips. I also have a review on this, if you want to check it out, you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/02/review-swatches-nivea-lip-butter.html
Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Tint "Perky"
This is actually my favorite shade out of all the Tarte jumbo lip pencils that I own. Its just a natural pink shade. I like the smell of these and the minty feeling that it gives my lips whenever I apply it. This is a great pink that goes with pretty much any eye look and is great for any day. Its very pigmented and isn't drying on the lips.
Wet N Wild MegaLast Lipstick "909D Coral-ine"
This was actually my first Wet N Wild MegaLast lipstick and because of it, I have already bought about 4-5 more from this line. I was never a fan of matte lipsticks because they are always so drying on my lips and I am a person who needs to apply lip balm every couple of hours. This is a matte that isn't drying on the lips and I love how long it lasts on my lips as well. If you are looking for a drugstore matte lipstick that isn't too drying, you should definitely give this line a try!

So that is all for my May 2013 favorites!! Like I said earlier, I am sorry that I am posting this up so late since it is already July 2013 but I wanted to get it up anyways since I had already edited the pictures and watermarked them. LOL Hopefully it was still helpful and I will try not to let this happen again. If you have any questions about any of these products, definitely leave a comment below and I will definitely try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. Plus don't forget to check out my YouTube channel. I only have 2 videos right now but hopefully I will have some time to be able to post more since I had a fun time filming my second video because I was more comfortable. Also if you have any ideas on what my next video should be, leave a comment below as well. Thanks for reading!
