RiteAid Haul (Feat. Makeup, Hair Care, and Nail Polishes)

Hey everyone! If you didn't know already my RiteAid store is closing down and they had everything 50% off storewide a few weeks ago. By the way, this post is a few weeks old. SMH As you can see from my picture, I definitely went all out because drugstore sales never have 50% off anymore. Now the sales are mostly BOGO 50% off or sometimes rarely 40% off. I know for sure that this is definitely not going to be my last haul because I am definitely going back to get more. Plus I had some +UP Rewards that I was still able to use and RiteAid store coupons so that made the prices on some of these products even better.
WHAT I BOUGHT:
L'Oreal Nail Polish "164 Precious Coral"
Julie G Nail Polish "9 To 5"
Julie G Nail Polish "Bikini"
I never tried any of these brands of polishes before so this is my first time. Hopefully they will all go well. Precious Coral looks like a gorgeous coral bordering on red. Hopefully it will show up more coral on the nails because I don't need anymore red polishes. I have heard that Julie G nail polishes are either too sheer or too goopy. I wasn't going to buy them but since they were half off, I thought why not! Plus both of the colors are really pretty and unique since I don't have any shades like them in my nail polish collection.

Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse (X2)
I have never tried these but I remember seeing MakeupFreeek use this foundation in one of her videos and it gave her such great coverage. Of course she used it with the beauty blender but hopefully it will still work out with a regular foundation brush. I bought two because I couldn't pass up the deal, in case I ended up loving these. I bought them in two different shades: 255 Natural Buff and 150 Classic Ivory. I meant to pick up Beige instead of Classic Ivory but someone had put them in the wrong slots and I hadn't noticed until I got home.

CoverGirl Eye Enhancers Trio "110 Shimmering Sands"
I have been seeing this trio in so many videos in the last few months that I have been meaning to buy this but kept forgeting. I can't wait to try this trio out since all the shades look really pretty and they are all great neutral, everyday shades. I kind of wish it was in the newer black packaging since this blue packaging makes the trio look kind of cheap. One thing that I do like is that each shade in the trio has their own name. I am assuming that they are probably sold as single shadows too. The shades in this trio are Satin Earth, Toasted Sand, and Sunkissed Sand. All three shadows are pearl finishes.

Revlon ColorStay Quad "545 Attitude"
I don't really need anymore eyeshadows since I have a ton in my collection and haven't hit pan on any of them but I couldn't help myself. This quad looked like a great trio to use everyday and/or bring with on travels. This quad comes with a light pink as a highlight and three other brown shades.

Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume Mascara "001 Blackest Black"
I never tried Revlon mascaras because but I had a store coupon for this so I wanted to give it a try. The brush looks pretty good so hopefully it will make my lashes look gorgeous! I haven't heard any reviews on this mascara so hopefully, it isn't bad.

Revlon Brow Fantasy Pencil & Gel "106 Dark Brown"
I never tried any brow products besides my ELF Studio Eyebrow Kit and I have tons of backups of it. Whenever I see someone do a FOTD, they generally tend to use brow pencils so I wanted to give it a try.

CoverGirl NatureLuxe Liquid Silk Foundation (X2)
I tried this foundation before from a sample that I got in the mail months ago and I really liked it but never picked it up until now. I bought two in two different shades because I couldn't remember which shade matched me. The two shades that I bought are 340 Maple and 335 Dune. I think I am going to use these foundation in the Summer because they feel so light on the face (from what I remember).

Almay Clear Complexion Foundation "500 Beige"
If you have been keeping up with my posts, then you would definitely know how much I love this foundation. It is pretty much my HG foundation. Since I was on my last bottle, I decided to buy another one. Even better, this one is in the new packaging so it comes with a pump, which makes it more easier to use. I love using this foundation everyday and especially on those days where I tend to break out like crazy.

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs "Light Glow"
Another product that is my favorite! This is definitely my HG spray on tan for the legs. I have been using this airbrush legs brand for over 4 years now and this is my third bottle that I have purchased. Usually I buy the one in Tan Glow but this was the only shade that my store had. Hopefully it will still give my legs great coverage like the Tan one.

Revlon PhotoReady AirBrush Mousse Foundation "040 Natural Beige"
I have never tried an airbrush foundation before but have always been curious to try one out. I know that I have bought a bunch of foundations in this haul but I wanted to give this a try so bad. I haven't heard many reviews on this either. I wonder why. If you have tried this foundation before, definitely let me know because I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Almay Smart Shade Perfect & Correct Primer
I have always been curious about this primer because it reminds me of the one by Stila. Of course, I could never shell out that much for a primer so I thought to try out the one by Almay. This has three primers all-in-one. It has a clear primer, green primer to reduce redness, and lavender even out and brighten the skin. I don't know if this primer will do all that it claims to do but I am willing to give it a try. All three used together is supposed to instantly smooth the skin while color correcting it.

L'Oreal EverPure Sulfate-Free Moisture Shampoo
L'Oreal Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hair Spray
Both of these items are travel sizes. I didn't buy these but they came with two hair dyes that my mom bought and she didn't want these so she gave to me. Yay for freebies. LOL I haven't tried either of these products but I remember that either Judy from ItsJudyTime or Emily from EmilyNoel83 uses the hair spray and one of them loves it (I just can't remember who LOL).

Suave Keratin Infusion Color Care Shampoo
I have always wanted to try out a hair care product with Keratin in it since its like the new best thing for your hair so I bought this. I haven't tried Suave shampoo is a long time but I have been hearing great reviews on their products lately. Plus I am planning on dying my hair again so since this is a color care product, its will be like hitting two birds with one stone (without the birds getting hurt if you know what I mean LOL).

L'Oreal Healthy Look Creme Gloss Color "4 Dark Brown"
I mainly bought this for my mom she loves L'Oreal hair dyes. If it has L'Oreal on it, she will buy it. LOL I thought this line would be better since it contains no ammonia, which is a good thing since the majority of hair dyes tend to contain ammonia and we all know that its not a good chemical to have.
So that is all for my crazy RiteAid haul. I know that I definitely went overboard and bought way too many foundations. Usually I would only buy one foundation when I am running out but I wanted to try out these so bad that I couldn't help myself. Plus they were all great deals. I got to admit though, the ony foundation that I am really excited to try is the Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse because of the great coverage that I heard it gives. Definitely expect a review on it soon!

QUESTIONS:
Have you ever gone this overboard with shopping before?
Have you ever tried any of these products before, especially the foundations?

Walgreens Haul

Hey everyone! This is a haul from a couple of weeks ago. I have been so busy posting my SPOTTED posts that I have been lagging on my HAUL posts. Most of the stuff that I bought are regular price and/or on clearance so products and prices varies by store. Now I have to admit, this haul is somewhat crazy. I confess that I went overboard but I justify that it was okay since the majority of my items were on clearance and were combined with coupons.

I am going to split up the products by grouping them into two groups, clearance and regular priced products. I am going to be talking about the regular priced products that I bought first because there are only three products. The products that I bought that were not on sale are:
WNW MEGALAST "209C CANDY-LICIOUS/ROSE BONBON"
This was regular priced at Walgreens for $1.99USD. I bought a couple of these MegaLast polishes before in their old packaging but haven't tried any in their new packaging. I heard that these are even better than their old ones so I can't wait. Candy-Licious looks like a gorgeous pink that I can't wait to wear on my nails.

WNW MEGALAST "213C ON A TRIP/EN VOYAGE"
On A Trip is a pretty purple that is going to be very unique in my collection. I don't have any purples similar to this so I know that I am already going to love it.

L'OREAL YOUTH CODE DAY LOTION SPF30
This was regularly priced for $4.99USD but I had a $2USD off coupon, so I only paid $2.99USD plus tax for this moisturizer. I never tried any L'Oreal skincare products before but I have heard reviews on the Youth Code line. This is the deluxe sample size and not the full size.

I was also lucky enough to find a couple of items in the clearance section. I think these were around 75% off and I had a couple of coupons that I used with them. I must warn you that what you are about to see is a bit too much. You might want to cover your eyes or something. Nah, I'm just playing you but it is a bunch of hair dye products. The products that I found the clearance section and bought are:
CLAIROL NICE 'N EASY PERFECT10 "4G DARK GOLDEN BROWN"
This was on clearance for $5.89USD but I had a coupon for $2USD off so I only paid $3.89USD for this. I mainly bought this for my mom because she has been searching for the best hair dye to have 100% long-lasting gray coverage. If you have tried this before, definitely let me know if its any good.

CLAIROL NATURAL INSTINCTS "12A LIGHT CARAMEL BROWN" (X2)
This was $4.59USD each and I had a coupon for $5USD/2, so it was almost like BOGO FREE. I haven't tried this yet but I have heard that Clariol is a great hair dye brand.

CLAIROL NATURAL INSTINCTS VIBRANT "5RB MEDIUM REDDISH BROWN" (X2)
This was also $4.59USD each and with my coupon for $5USD/2, its like I paid for one and got the other one for free. LOL I mainly got this because I love having brown hair with a reddish tint to it.

CLAIROL NICE 'N EASY "115 NATURAL MEDIUM COOL BROWN" (X2)
I haven't tried this one yet but its supposed to give you highlights as well as dye your hair all in one step. This should be very interesting.

So that is all that I bought at Walgreens. I know that buying all those hair dyes was a bit excessive but they were not all for me. I bought them for my mom, sister and me. We all dye our hair so these won't be going to waste. If you have tried any of these products before, definitely let me know! I would love to know what you think about the Clairol brand.

CVS Haul (Featuring WnW, L'oreal, Turbie Twist, & SoHo Brushes)

Hey everyone! Wow, CVS was having such great sales last week! They were having a sale on WnW Eyes, Lips, and Nails products where they are 2/$3USD. As you can see, I went a little bit crazy. Keep in mind that I didn't buy all of these products at one time. I went to three different CVS stores because they didn't have much in stock. The main reason why I went was because I found out that the Flora & Fauna sets were also included in the sale! They are originally $4.99USD but during the sale, they were 2/$3USD plus tax. Plus I had a couple of $1USD off WnW coupons so that made the deal even sweeter!

Another reason why I decided to go to three different CVS stores is because the first one by house hired a new security guard. The new security guard was irritating me so much because she was following me around the whole makeup aisles. Like seriously? Do I look like the person to steal? I go to that CVS regularly and always buy makeup from there. Everywhere I would go, she would follow me around. I don't steal but I will probably never go to that CVS store again. The whole time I was there, she was staring at me. Every time I left a makeup display, she would go to that makeup display and check everything out. I mean, seriously! I totally felt like going up to her and saying "I know I look good and all but I don't swing that way!" LOL I wish I did because that would have been so funny!

What I bought:
WNW LIMITED EDITION FLORA COLLECTION (X2)
This set comes with four products like a nail polish, lip gloss, eyeshadow trio, and a blush. All the products are full size except for the blush. I bought an extra because I might be holding a giveaway on my blog sometime in the future. I might be giving away both because I am a little bit intimated by the bright colorful shadows. If I do end up keeping this set, I know for sure, that I will never wear all three shades on one eye look. It comes with:
  • FastDry Nail Polish in Twining Vines
  • Glassy Gloss Lip Gel in Mow The Glass
  • ColorIcon Blush in Mellow Wine
  • ColorIcon Eyeshadow Trio in Flora

WNW LIMITED EDITION FAUNA COLLECTION (X2)
This set is almost the same as the Flora set but with different shades. It also comes with three full size products and one mini blush. I also bought an extra one of this set because I was thinking about including it in the giveaway as well. I definitely love this set more than the Flora set because all the colors are wearable. This set comes with:
  • FastDry Nail Polish in Teal Or No Teal
  • Glassy Gloss Lip Gel in Glass Confusion
  • ColorIcon Blush in Pearlescent Pink
  • ColorIcon Eyeshadow Trio in Fauna

WNW MEGA EYES CREME EYELINER
These are my first time trying these. Hopefully they all live up to my expectations. I heard these are somewhat comparable to MAC Fluidlines and others say that they dry up too fast but only time will tell. I bought two different shades:
  • Eggplant
  • Black

WNW COLORICON EYESHADOW TRIO IN WALKING ON EGGSHELLS
I have been wanting this trio but for some reason, I always forgot to pick it up. Since they were on sale, I made sure to remember. The trio looks like a great everyday, neutral eye palette. It comes with a gorgeous brow bone highlight and a beautiful all over the lid shade. I can't wait to wear this!

LONDON SOHO NEW YORK MAKEUP BRUSHES
These were on clearance at the last CVS store that I went to. I have always wanted to try these brushes but in my opinion, they are a little bit pricey for drugstore brand makeup brushes. I only bought two to try out because I wasn't sure how they would pick up shadows and if they would shred after washing. The two that I picked up are:
  • All Over Shadow Brush
  • Blush Brush

TURBIE TWIST MICROFIBER HAIR TOWEL
I have always wanted to try one of these and the first CVS store that I went to had a bunch of these. There was a sign saying that they were $5.99USD but they ran up $6.99USD. I told the cashier that they were another price. She grabbed this blue one and for some reason, it rang up $4.99USD. Three different prices with all the hassle that CVS gives. LOL

L'OREAL SUPER PREFERENCE HAIR DYE IN 4 DARK BROWN
I bought two for my mom. She wanted some hair dye from L'Oreal, because its a brand that she loves and trusts. They were on sale for 2/$12.99USD plus tax. I am not sure if the sale is still going on but you can check.

So that is all that I bought at CVS. Hopefully they will start to have more sales like this. Make sure to follow my makeup blog for future giveaways. Stay tuned for that! If you have any other questions about this haul and/or any other products that I bought, let me know.

QUESTIONS:
What do you think about this haul?
Do you ever have hassle whenever you are shopping at CVS?
Did you buy anything from the sales at CVS?

Walgreens Haul

Hey everyone! Sorry if splitting up the hauls for Walgreens is weird. I would just put all of them together but I did two different hauls and for some reason, my second haul disappeared. I think its still in my car so I didn't want to wait to have all the products all together to take pictures because I wanted to do some posts. LOL I bought all of this stuff a few days ago at Walgreens when they were having the RRs on the Burt's Bee Cough Drops. I wanted to post up my haul earlier but I kept forgetting to bring the second bag in. I got tired of waiting, so I just decided to try to make it all into one post but separate the pictures since I don't want to take new pictures all over again. They are somewhat similar, so sorry if I end up confusing some people. LOL

FIRST HAUL
SECOND HAUL

What I bought:
YES TO CUCUMBERS SOOTHING HYPOALLERGENIC FACIAL TOWELETTES
I heard that these are the best makeup remover wipes from the Yes To line. I have never tried these before but I can't wait. I wasn't even considering on buying this because I have so many ELF Studio Makeup Remover Cloths stocked up in my bathroom. LOL I love those! I wasn't going to buy this but I had a $3USD off Manufacturer coupon on any Yes To product. Plus it was 33% off and it came with a bonus pack. I can't remember the exact price that I paid but it was around $4USD for two packs.

YES TO CARROTS NOURISHING RICH MOISTURE DAY CREAMThis was on clearance for under $3USD. I haven't tried this before buying it. I didn't even realize that it was a day cream until I bought it home. LOL This is such a heavy moisturizer that I will definitely not be using it for the day. Instead I have been using it at night because my face has been getting dry at night.

RIMMEL NAIL POLISH IN 300 POSH PINK & 140 FRENCH ROSE
Rimmel products were 40% off last week but unfornately, the sale is now over. I just bought these nail polishes. I don't know why people would buy the single nail polishes when Rimmel came out with a display that had nail polishes with a bonus base & top coat included. Posh Pink is a gorgeous hot pink and is from the Lasting Finsh PRO line. French Rose is a really pretty light creamy pink. This shade is from their French Manicure PRO line because its a very light color that you can use for french manicures. I probably won't be using this for french manicure because I don't really have steady hands so my lines never come out looking clean. I am just going to be using this as an all over color for my nails.

JOHN FRIEDA PRECISION FOAM COLOUR (X2)
I bought these in the color, 8A Medium Ash Blonde. I bought two but I only took a picture of one. LOL Don't worry, I am not going to dye my hair this color. I bought it was on clearance for $3.50USD and I had two $2USD off coupons for any John Frieda hair colors so I only paid $1.50USD for each plus tax. I am going to give these away to someone.

BURT'S BEES NATURAL THROAT DROPS IN HONEY (X2)
There were $1.99USD and you get back $2RR. I haven't tried these before and to be honest, I didn't even know that Burt's Bees even made cough drops. LOL Since these are 100% natural, I decided to give them a try.

STUDIO 35 TWEEZERS (X2)
I have never tried tweezers from this brand before but they were on sale, so I thought why not! Plus I love how portable these are since they come in plastic vials. I have tried one so far and these are sharp.

So I hope you like my small haul! Keep in mind that I bought these products a couple of days ago and the Rimmel sale is now over. Plus the products that I was lucky enough to find on clearance might not be on clearance at your stores. Items and prices vary by store.
