SPOTTED: Nail Rock Nail Caviars

Hey everyone! Oh my goodness, I am so happy to see these in the drugstore! So far, I have only spotted these at Walgreens, so if you are interested, definitely check there. If you don't know what new products that I saw, they are the Nail Rock Nail Caviars. These look like they are the more affordable versions to the Ciate Caviar Manicure sets (sold at Sephora for $25USD). Now I don't know how much the Nail Rocks are but I am sure that they are cheaper than $25USD. I wish that Walgreens would put price stickers on their new displays.

Okay, enough with my rambling. In this display, there are four sets! I love how all the sets looks and would love to try them all someday. I don't know if any of these sets have names because I couldn't find the names anywhere. I would definitely love to buy all of these but since I cook everyday, I would be scared that these might fall off into the food or they might come off when I am washing the dishes. What do you guys think? Have you spotted these new Nail Rock sets? Which set would you be looking forward to getting on your nails?

SPOTTED: Revlon Holiday Glam Collection

Hey everyone! Oh my goodness! (LOL Typing that just reminded me of Shirley Temple on accident) But okay, onto my actual post. Its been such a long time since I've done a spotted post. I think its been months since my last one but its hard to do these sometimes since the CVS by my house usually doesn't carry new products and whenever they do, they would just add it to the regular displays, in the same slots as the regular core products. For instance, if Revlon came out with new LE shades for their Color Tattoo shadows, then the employees would just put the LE shades in th same slots behind the regular core shades. Its such a hassle and sometimes by the time I remember to go there and check, all the new products are gone. It makes me wonder if the person does that on purpose, just so the employee could buy it all for herself. Maybe she's or he's a makeup junkie. Who knows. So whenever I want to see new products in their original displays, then I would have to drive further to the other CVS and Walgreens since they have separate aisles for new makeup displays.

Since I had some extra time for the day, I decided to take a drive to a CVS store further away from my house. I usually don't like driving there sometimes because its in an area that gets a lot of traffic so that means that it takes me a while to get there and to get back home. Its such a hassle but hey, its all for makeup and for you guys too. While I was there, I spotted two new displays and bunch of older ones. I was actually hoping to see the new LE WnW display for the Sparkle Till Morning and the 1 <3 Mattes repromote palettes but they were already all sold out. Darn. Hopefully I will still be able to get my hands on them soon before they are all gone. One new display that I spotted is this Revlon Holiday Glam display, which includes false lashes and nail art.

This display comes with three new false lashes. Each are different designs and are called Natural Defining, Long Volumizing, and Double Wink. Plus the display also had the Glam Eye Kit, which includes nail arts in a storage case and a nail art adhesive. The nail kit is regularly priced at $7.99, which I don't think is worth the price since each color only has 4 of each and they are very small. If you are interested in nail art, I would just suggest going to the Dollar Tree or any dollar store since you can get more for your buck. The false lashes are $4.29, which is an alright price but I tend to use the lashes that comes in 10 sets in a box.

Overall, I think this is an okay collection. Really nothing special but if you are a Revlon lover, you might like this display.

QUESTIONS:
Have you seen this Revlon Holiday Glam display?

Spotted: Nail Art At Dollar Tree

Hey everyone! A few days ago, I had an appoitment at the dentist and decided to stop by Dollar Tree after. I wanted to see if they had any "new products" there and to get some ice cream for my brother since Dollar Tree is the only place that sells it. While I was there, I knew that I had to check out their makeup. I barely buy makeup at Dollar Tree, in fact I don't think I ever have bought makeup there but I heard that they now accept coupons and wanted to see if I could get any makeup for free and just pay tax. I did have some one dollar off coupons for Maybelline and L'Oreal products but all the products that I saw were old and released years ago so I didn't buy them. Even if I am just paying $0.10 for a product, its still not that worth it if its old makeup IMO.

While I was there, I did spot and buy some nail art. They had a bunch of nail art products. I did take pictures of all the ones that they had and did end up buying some. I haven't tried them out yet but for a dollar, you can't really beat that. They had a bunch of different ones ranging from glitters, beads, flakies, glitter bars, and so on.

If you are into nail art, I highly suggest checking out your Dollar Tree store because you do get a decent amount of nail art for a great price.

QUESTIONS:
Have you been to Dollar Tree before?
Are you into nail art?
Which ones would you be interested to buy?

SPOTTED: Revlon Nail Art French Mix Collection

Hey everyone! Yesterday, I was driving around running errands and I spotted a Walgreens. I barely ever go to this Walgreens because its far from my house. I have one Walgreen store down the street from my house, but that one is always so slow bringing out new collections. Since I barely go to this Walgreens, I went in to see if they had anything new and to use up my RRs since they were expiring yesterday. While I was there, i spotted two new collections.

The first one that I am going to talk about is the Revlon Nail Art French Mix collection. If you didn't know, Revlon came out with new nail polishes with dual-end polishes a few months back. I think this is the second collection that Revlon came out with this line of nail art polishes. The first one was a crackle polish collection. If you would like to see pictures of the Revlon Nail Art Break Up collection, you can CLICK HERE.

The French Mix collection has 8 nail arts, which are all gorgeous colors. The shade names (listed from top to bottom) are:
  • Sweet Revenge
  • Miss Perfect
  • Kiss & Tell
  • Over The Moon
  • Moonstruck
  • All The Rage
  • Chance Encounter
  • Sneak Peek

Prices vary by store and region. The store that I went to had them priced at $8.49USD plus tax. I thought that was a pretty good price for two different colors. Plus Revlon is always coming out with coupons and sometimes they end up going to sell at drugstores. If you end up picking some of these up, definitely let me know! I haven't tried these yet but I would love to know if the formula is like the regular line of Revlon nail polishes.

Mini Collective Haul: Dollar Tree & Costco

Hey everyone! Yesterday was somewhat of a slow day so I decided to go check out Dollar Tree and see if they have anything good. Plus I wanted to buy some more glue sticks to make some more makeup organizers. I was supposed to buy some more foam boards but I forgot. LOL I was too busy trying to make sure that I got the glue sticks because the last couple of times I went, they were all sold out and a bunch of people were asking for them. Since this time that I went, they restocked, I made sure to grab two glue sticks packs. I also bought some nail art glitters. They had two different kinds, one looked like broken rocks and the other was bar glitters. I bought the last two bar glitters. It comes with red, orange, yellow, blue, silver, white, purple, and pink bar glitter all in cute mini bottles.

I also went to Costco, which wasn't that smart of me since it was a Sunday. If you have never been to a Costco before, it usually gets crazy hectic on Sunday because its an off day from work and they give out free samples. There were so many people and some of them were such butss. I don't know why people get so crazy over samples. It was just so hard to move around the store, especially when you are with your little brother. I was so worried that someone might accidently hit him with their cart. Even though I was worried, he was having the time of his life eating all the free samples that I was getting for him. LOL I did get irritated at one point where I was waiting to get a tuna sandwich for my brother. There were these two college girls (or older) who were at the free sample table as well. Every time the lady would put out more samples, those girls would just stand infront and grab all of them, stuff them into their mouths and grab some more. Don't you just get annoyed when people do that? I admit, I got somewhat irritated because there were other people behind them waiting in line but enough with that. I bought other stuff at Costco but the only thing beauty related was the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes. It comes with 4 refills (25 count each) and 2 travel refills (7 count each).

So that is all that I bought at both Dollar Tree and at Costco. It isn't much but its good enough for me for now. LOL I am really excited about the nail art glitters. I am planning on maybe mixing them all together. I also plan on using the silver bar glitter and making one similar to China Glaze Save Me. If you have any questions, please let me know!

QUESTIONS:
Have you been to the Dollar Tree and/or Costco?
Have you tried making or customizing your own nail polishes?
What do you think about the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes?
