Ulta Haul (Feat. Real Techniques Brushes)
Hey everyone! So this haul was actually meant to be posted a few weeks back but I just never had the time to do it so I am going to try to post it up by tonight. If you remember, a while back Ulta had a $5 off any $10 purchase coupon. They had sent one before but I missed out on it because by the time that I remembered, the coupon was already expired. Bummer! But luckily, they brought it back again! So I knew that I had to take advantage of this one. Plus they were also have BOGO 50% OFF on Real Techniques brushes. I have always wanted to try out their brushes but I didn't want to pay full price for them. Yes I am a cheapie, but excuse me if I like getting good deals on things. LOL I only bought two things because my little brother was rushing me and I had promised him that we would go to Target afterwards and he was worried that Target was going to close.
What I bought:
Real Techniques On Location Travel Essentials
This set comes with three brushes. It comes with a foundation brush, multi-task brush, and a domed shadow brush. So far, I have tried all three brushes and like all of them, except for the multi-task brush. I feel like that brush is just way too stiff and plastic-ky (I think thats how you spell it LOL). I have cheaper, inexpensive brushes that feel softer than the multi-task brush. If you would like to see a review on this set, let me know.
Real Techniques Your Eyes/Enhanced Starter Set
This is another set that I bought. Since I was buying the face brushes, I thought that I might as well buy the eye set as well to try out. This set comes with five eye brushes. The brushes that this set comes with are a shadow brush, crease brush, accent brush, pixel-point eyeliner brush, and a brow brush. I have tried all of them already and so far, like all of them but one. The one brush that I don't like that much is the brow brush. I feel like it was cut way too big to be used as a brow brush unless I have really big bushy brows then I can see this brush working out for me. If you would like to see a more in-depth review, let me know and I will post one.
Sample: Vera Wang PrincessI didn't take a picture of this one but have always wanted to try it out because I have heard lots of great reviews on this perfume. I am so happy to finally have gotten a sample of it! If you have smelled this before, definitely let me know whether you like it or not.
I have really been wanting to try out some brushes from Real Techniques and thought that it would be best to get some of their brush sets. I have been trying them out and so far, I like them. There are some brushes in the set that I don't really like but I will talk about them in a review, if you guys want. I might actually get just go back and get some of their individual face brushes because there are some that I still want to try. If you have any recommendations, let me know!
QUESTIONS:
Have you tried any of these brushes before?
