Swatches: Maybelline Eyeshadow Quad "Emerald Smokes"

Hey everyone! I just wanted to show you guys some swatches on a quad that I recently bought. I actually got this on clearance and with a $1.00 coupon that I got from the Sunday newspaper, I only paid $0.19 plus tax for this quad! If you would like to see my haul, featuring other makeup products that I found on clearance and bought, you can CLICK HERE. I was actually surprised when I went that they had a bunch of makeup and nail polishes on clearance since its at a Walgreens store that just opened up a few months ago but hey, I wasn't complaining!

For this post, I am going to show you guys swatches on the Maybelline EyeStudio Eyeshadow Quad "08Q Emerald Smokes," which is from their Stylish Smokes collection. These quads are great for those who love doing smokey eye looks. They have different shades for everyday, neutral smokey eye looks to your dark black smokey eye looks.

Emerald Smokes has different green shades so this is great for those who love wearing green shadows. Plus this is great for beginners because each shadow is labeled as lid, crease, outer corner, and brow. Of course, you can use each shade anyway you want to create different eye looks.

QUESTIONS:
Do you own any Maybelline quads?

  1. I got this palette at Big Lots. Can't remember how much I paid for it but it was cheap. Thank God because I really did not like it. Pigmentation and texture is really poor. I think I threw it out after I reviewed it. Not something I want to do but I know I won't reach for it again. That's how much I didn't like it.

    1. Yeah I think the pigmentation is better with a primer. The green shade is a bit lacking but I like to apply it with a sponge tip applicator for better pigmentation.
