Spotted: Fantasy Makers Hauntingly Hip Collection
Hey everyone! Fantasy Makers has done it again! Every year, they come out with sets for Halloween makeup. I love how each set comes with stencils and a picture of a model with the makeup on from using the stencils. This is a great set that you can use to help make your costume more noticeable. Plus who doesn't love pretty Halloween makeup? Everyone loves it! Its fun applying it and fun wearing it. Let me know if you guys think the same as well.
If you haven't seen these sets before, they each include an eyeliner, palette, and stencils. The palettes are all cream shadows. I actually bought one a year ago and use it sometimes. I was hesitant to buy it since it was very glittery but it was just the top. Once you get to the bottom, you don't really get any glitter. I don't know if it was just the palette that I bought or if all the palettes are like that. If you guys are interested in these, they should be popping up at your local CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid and other stores, if they aren't there already. These are regularly priced for $5.99 plus tax.
QUESTIONS:
Have you seen these sets yet?
Have you ever bought one before?

Spotted: NYC Super Hero Chic Collection
Hey everyone! Here is another spotted post on another new collection. Hopefully you guys aren't bored with seeing spotted posts. Haha! Let me know if you are like me and love seeing spotted posts because it gives you the heads up on new collections coming out. This collection was spotted at RiteAid. I haven't been to a RiteAid store in such a long time and I actually forgot how fast they are with bringing out new collections that I was surprised when I walked in. LOL
Anyways, this new collection is from NYC! I actually thought it was a Halloween collection when I first saw some of the products but then I saw the name of the collection and second guessed myself. If you haven't read the title yet, this collection is called "Super Hero Chic" or maybe that is what you can dress up as by wearing these products on Halloween. Let me know what you guys think. This collection has lipsticks, nail polishes, eye shadows, false lashes, and eyeliners. I don't know if the lipsticks, nail polishes, eye shadows, and eyeliners are new shades since I didn't really look at them too much but if you know, please comment below!

My June-July-August Empties 2013
Hey everyone! I finally filmed another video on my channel so please make sure to watch it. I spent a long time but thats mainly because I showed a lot of products. Keep in mind that these were probably about three to four months worth of empties saved up. Haha! I know I could have just showed the products and not say much but thats just not me. LOL I like to go into little detail about each product, like "mini reviews" because thats just my style. If you guys didn't like it then oh well. Keep in mind, I don't remember the order that I did in the video since it was random. I am just going to go all random again for this post.
Anyways, lets get onto all my empties:
◊ St. Ives Apricot Scrub
This is from the Naturally Clear line claimed to give blemish and blackhead control. I like to use this as a face scrub every now and then but my favorite thing to use it for is as a exfoliant for my legs. I use this right before I shave my legs or right before I apply my Sally Hansen Leg Makeup. If you have this and you feel like its too harsh for your face, then you should try this for your legs.
◊ Garner Fructis Sleek & Shine Conditoner
I got this a while back from BzzAgent to review. I still have the shampoo in my shower, which I am almost done with as well. Don't be surprised if you see it in my next empties post. If you love hair products that smell really good, then this one is for you. I love how it smells. This claims to help with frizzy, dry, and unmanageable hair.
◊ Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner
I love using this as a deep conditioner. This makes my hair so smooth and smells good. I just wish that the packaging was a bit better. To find out why, you can watch my video. If you hair is dry and needs a good deep conditioner, you should give this a try. Its inexpensive and sometimes goes on sale.
◊ TRESemme Luxurious Moisture Conditioner
Here is another conditioner that is geared towards dry or damaged hair. I really like this conditioner and the TRESemme brand. This product smells good and makes my hair smooth. I plan on buying the full size version of this sometime soon.
◊ John Frieda Precision Foam Colour Conditioner
This was part 3 that was included in my John Frieda Precision Foam Colour kit. I really like this conditioner and wonder if John Frieda sells its individually. If you know, please let me know.
◊ ELF Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths
These are my HG makeup remover wipes! Plus they are only $3 and sometimes you can catch them on sale for 50% off, what more can you want? These are so moist and one cloth is all that I need because one cloth is pretty big. If you have been with my blog for a while, then you would definitely know I would always stock up on these during a sale. I heard that ELF recently came out with new Studio Exfoliating Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths so I am excited to try those out soon. If you have tried those already, please let me know what you think.
◊ Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Facial Towelettes
I hate these facial towelettes. I actually have two more left in my bathroom because I bought these in a double pack when they were on sale. I was disappointed that these didn't smell anything like cucumbers. After I finish up all mines, I won't be buying anymore.
◊ Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
These were okay but not my favorite. These aren't moist to my liking. I wish I didn't buy a big pack at Costco. LOL These were just a hassle to deal with because I would always have to use two wipe to get everything off my face and thats probably because they were a bit on the dry side.
◊ EOS Shave Cream "Promgrante Raspberry"
I like the concept of how you can use this wet or dry. The only thing that I don't like about this is the pump. I would always have to do a couple of pumps just to get enough for my legs. Plus it isn't the easiest pump to use. The packaging is nice with the pink and the grooves in the side because it makes it easy to hold onto in the shower. If you like shaving creams that feel like lotion in application, you might end up liking this. Just be careful not to stock up too much on these because they do have an expiration date.
◊ Hydro Silk Razor Refill
I love this razor. I bought so much of these when they were on sale at Target. I think I am stocked up for this year and half of 2014. Haha! If you want to see how the razor looks like, you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/01/bzzcampaign-schick-hydro-silk-razor.html
◊ Clarins Double Serum Complete Age Control Concentrate
I really like this but the only thing that I found a hassle was that it came in two parts. You would have to pour both parts into the palm of your hand and use your finger to mix them together. I thought that was just time consuming and plus you end up wasting some product since most of it gets soaked into the palm of your hand and on your finger.
◊ Garnier Ultra-Lift Targeted Line Smoother Tightner + Cream
This was a sample that I got a while back. This was alright. It sort of felt that I was applying primer onto my face everytime I used this. I am not sure if it did what it claimed it does since I only used this little packet but I have more of these. If you have tried this, please let me know how you feel about this product.
◊ Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion
This is pretty much like a toner but just with a fancier name. LOL I actually really liked this product. It pretty much performs the same as my drugstore toners but it doesn't smell as strong. If I didn't mind the price tag, I would definitely buy the full size of this.
◊ Ponds Dry Skin Cream
I really like this moisturizer. I use it morning and night. This is probably my second jar that I have finished. I already bought a back-up of this and am already using. This time I bought the bigger version to make sure that I have enough for the winter.
◊ Nivea Lip Butter "Raspberry Rose Kiss"
I love this lip butter. It smells so good and feels so good on the lips. It keeps my lips moisturized. The only thing that you have to worry about it is if you apply too much onto your lips, you will get that milky pink lip.
◊ BBW Beautiful Days Travel Spray Perfume
I love the scent. I think its just perfect for the spring and the summer. I got this for free from BBW when this first came out and they had a promotion. I love how easy this was to carry in my purse and as you can see, I used it up pretty quick.
◊ Assured Cotton Rounds
I bought this from the Dollar Tree for only a dollar. I love these. These are so inexpensive and they don't leave any fuzzies on my eye or face whenever I use them. I use these to take off my waterproof mascara and for toner. I will continue to buy these.
◊ Studio35 Beauty Polish Remover "Regular Salon Formula"
I really like this nail polish remover. Its great for removing nail polish. It does take longer to remover glitter but with any other finish, it removes it great. I would just need one cotton ball soaked in this to remove all the polish from all ten fingers. Plus its inexpensive and goes on sale once in a while. This is Walgreens brand.
◊ Sally Hansen Quick Care Clean-Up
I love using this to remove the polish from around the edges. Its great to use when you just want to clean up your manicure really quick.
◊ Sally Hansen Creme Hair Bleach "Extra Strength"
This came with my Sally Hansen Hair Bleach kit. You are supposed to use it with the Activator and mix them too together but I always seem to use this part quicker than the activator. This is great to bleach facial hair or any other unwanted hair.
◊ Physicians Formula Bronze Gems "Peachy Glow"
This was one of the very first bronzers that I bought. Its not my favorite. I have tried so many better bronzers. If you would like to see a review with swatches on this but in the shade "Healthy Glow," you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/09/review-physicians-formula-bronze-gems.html
◊ Almay Clear Complexion Foundation "600 Sand"
I love this foundation. I think this is my second bottle that I have used up so far. I have one more in my collection but won't use until I finish up my other foundations. This is a great foundation and great for those who have constant breakouts since this won't irritate your skin and make it breakout more.
◊ Almay Clear Complexion Concealer "200 Light-Medium"
This is a good concealer to cover up blemishes. I have back-ups of this in my collection. It has a sponge tip applicator like a lip gloss. Its light coverage but you can build it up.
◊ Too Faced Lash Injection Mascara
This mascara is so weird because it has a fruity scent to it. The mascara brush is big but the only thing is that if you apply too much, it will give you clumpy lashes. To find out more about this, you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/06/my-mascara-collection.html
◊ Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara
I love this mascara! Its great because it gives my lashes some length but the only thing that I don't like about it is that it has a very wet formula. If I sneeze right after I apply this onto my lashes, it will smear and leave lines under my eyes. Haha! You just have to wait for this to dry completely before you curl your lashes or sneeze. To find out more, you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/06/my-mascara-collection.html
◊ Mary Kay Ultimates Mascara
I love this mascara. I do wish that it was more accessible since if I want to get my hands on another one, I would have to order online or find a Mary Kay sales person. To find out more, you can click here: http://lisalovesmakeup87.blogspot.com/2013/06/my-mascara-collection.html
So that is all for my empties. I know it was a lot and sorry if my post and video was too long. If you haven't checked out my video yet, you can click here to watch it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G837sTDrEO8&feature=youtu.be or just watch it below.
Please don't forget to like and subscribe. It would mean a lot and I would really appreciate it. If you already did, thank you! Anyways if you have tried any of these products before, please let me know what you think of them. I would love to hear your opinions!

Spotted: Kiss imPress Press-On Nails Halloween Collection
Hey everyone! If you saw my previous spotted Kiss post and aren't a fan of nail stickers, you could give these a try! Kiss is really stepping up their game with all these Halloween collections. They came out temporary eye and lip tattoos and nail stickers. Now we have Halloween themed press-on nails from them. If you want something simple that doesn't require a lot of work, you can try these press-on nails. With these, they already have the adhesive on the back of the nails, so all you have to do is press them onto your nails and viola! You are ready to go partying or trick-or-treating!
Sorry if you can't see the designs that much. I tried to do close-ups but with the clear plastic packaging and the lighting, it was hard to do. Especially if when there is a long line for the cashiers right behind you, watching you take pictures of all the new displays. LOL Anyways, let me know if you have seen this collection from Kiss in your stores yet and if you are interested in any of them.

Spotted: Kiss Nail Dress Halloween Collection
Hey everyone! Kiss has done it again with another Halloween collection! First they came out with temporary lip and eye tattoos for Halloween and now they came out with Halloween themed nail stickers. If you never heard or tried Kiss Nail Dress before, they have the similar concept as the Sally Hansen Real Nail Polish Strips. The only difference is that these are less on the pricey side. I think Sally Hansen Real Nail Polish Strips run for about $9.99 while these are priced at $6.99 plus tax.
If you are a Halloween lover, you will definitely love these nail dresses. There are so many different designs to choose from. My favorite would probably have to be the black and orange ones since I love how you can alternate the colors. Don't get me wrong, I like the other designs too but I don't like having the same design on all my nails since that could look like overkill. If you are the same, let me know. Anyways, if you have seen this collection at your store, let me know which ones you ended up buying for yourself.
QUESTIONS:
Would you buy these nail dresses?
Do you plan on decorating your nails for Halloween?

Spotted: Kiss LE Temporary Lip & Eye Tattoos
Hey everyone! Here is another new collection that I spotted at RiteAid. Looks like makeup brands are starting to come out with collections geared for Halloween already. Since Halloween is next month, I guess they are right on time. Anyways while I was at RiteAid, I noticed that a lot of the Halloween collections were from Kiss. They definitely seem ready for the holiday.
This collection features temporary lip tattoos and temporary eye tattoos, which I definitely thought was interesting. Especially for the eye tattoos. I doubt everybody would love the eye ones since everyone has a different eye shape so I wonder how those sizes are going to be. Plus some people have double lids, hooded lids, mono lids, and etc. If you have gotten those, please let me know what you think of them and how the application process was. Kiss only came out with 2 eye tattoo design. Inside each pack includes 2 designs and they show a picture of the designs on the packaging.
Kiss also came out with 2 different lip tattoos designs. One is a cheetah print and the other is a ombre glitter red lip look. I am surprised that they came out with an ombre look since it doesn't look as interesting as the cheetah one. If you haven't seen the concept of temporary lip tattoos before, Violent Lips was probably the first brand that came out with temporary lip tattoos. They sold them at Sephora. They were pretty pricey so I am glad that a drugstore brand has finally come out with that concept for those who have been wanting to try out temporary lip tattoos.
Anyways, these were $2.99 at my RiteAid store. Not a bad price, especially considering how expensive the Violent Lips ones were. I didn't pick any up because I wasn't in the mood for buying Halloween makeup yet but definitely let me know if you have tried the Kiss ones or the Violent Lips ones and how you feel about them. Also let me know (if you already know) what you plan to dress up as for Halloween. I am pretty excited but I haven't decided what I wanted to be yet. Any ideas?
QUESTIONS:
Have you tried these before?
What do you think about the concept?

Spotted: Revlon LE Art Major Collection
Hey everyone! Whoa, I have so many new collections to show you guys. I wanted to post up all my reviews and swatches but it looks like I am going to have to put those on hold again since I want to post up my spotted posts before they get old. You know with new collections, you got to keep up with them. Anyways most of these new collections that I am going to be posting were mainly spotted at RiteAid since I had the chance to visit one last week. I haven't been to one in a while so I was definitely surprised to see all the new collections that RiteAid had out, especially since my CVS and Walgreens stores are slow (like a snail) with bring out new products.
This collection that I am going to show you guys is the new Revlon Art Major collection. It is a limited edition collection so if you are interested in it, I highly suggest getting some before its all gone. These are duo nail polishes that give you nail art similar to a chalkboard look. I thought it was pretty interesting but I didn't buy any since I have heard that these Revlon duo polishes get bad faster than regular Revlon polishes. I have seen some chunk up and separate instantly in the store within weeks of release. Its weird. Anyways on the display, it says "master the trend with a matte black base and pop of pastel." I really like how the packaging is matte as you can see in the pictures. Its an interesting concept. Let me know if you guys bought any of these and what you think of them so far.
QUESTIONS:
Did you buy any from this collection?
How do you feel about the chalkboard nail art trend?
Please feel free to Comment, Like, Friend, & Follow!

Review: Physicians Formula Bronze Gems "Healthy Glow Bronzer"
Hey everyone! Its been a while since I posted up a review but I am trying not to haul as much as before. I do still have a couple of hauls that I need to post but I am trying to not buy anymore makeup until the holidays. I said tried so don't expect too much from me. LOL I do want to get one palette from Ulta 21 Days of Beauty event but we will see. If you know what palette I am talking about, definitely let me know if I should get it or not and if you are going to be buying it as well. I never tried the brand before but it looks like a great everyday palette.
I actually bought this bronzer when I first started getting into makeup. I am pretty sure that this is one of the first bronzers that I bought. I mainly bought this because I wanted something that I can use for multiple purposes since I was really into saving money back then. I loved makeup but didn't want to buy too much. Ha! If only the me back then could see my collection now. LOL This was a product that claimed that you can use it as a bronzer, highlighter, and as eyeshadows. This definitely sounds like a beauty money saver's dream, yes? Well you could look at it like that. I sort of wish I had actually gotten a different bronzer instead of this one. I mean its a good bronzer but I don't see myself using it that often and close to hitting pan on it.
As with all Physician Formula bronzers, blushes, and highlighters, all their packaging is bulky. If you don't own any Physician Formula products, then you wouldn't know why I am calling their packaging bulky. Its on the big side because they usually all contain a compartment inside containing a mini brush with a mirror. I don't ever use the brushes so I do wish that Physicians Formula would stop doing that. Let me know if you think the same too.
Anyways, lets get onto the actual product. There are "gems" on the side of the bronzer that you can use as a highlighter or as eyeshadows. I tried to use them as eyeshadows before and I didn't like it since they weren't pigmented enough. I actually had to swipe my fingers across the "gems" a couple of time to get them to show up on my fingers to take pictures of. If you are looking for a really soft wash of color, then maybe you might like this. For the bronzer, its a matte bronzer, which is nice. Matte bronzers are great for contouring and great for all year around. The only thing about this bronzer is that its almost the same as my skintone once I put it on. You can't even tell that I used it for contouring. LOL I have fair skin so that says a lot. Whenever I used this, I would mainly just swirl my brush all over the product and use it as an all over bronzer. Its nice to set my makeup with and does give me a healthy glow. I guess thats why the shade is called "Healthy Glow Bronzer." LOL
Would I repurchase this? No, I wouldn't. There are so many other bronzers that I love more. I feel like this was just a waste of my money. Its nice that its geared toward a multi-purpose product but it doesn't do well in all the purposes that its claimed for. I will try to finish it up but after that, I won't go back to this. I would just spend more money buying separate products for highlighters, bronzers, and eyeshadows. LOL The "gems" weren't pigmented enough for their intended uses. I actually had to scrape off the top layer of the "gems" to even get any color when I first used it. Let me know what you think.
QUESTIONS:
Have you ever tried this before?
What is your favorite bronzer?

June-July-August Favorites 2013
Hey everyone! Its been such a long time since I've done a favorites. I think my last one was for May so I decided to just sum up my June, July, and August favorites all in one! Maybe I will just do my favorites every three months instead since its more easier for me to keep up but we will see. Definitely let me know what you guys think. Some of these are new products and some of these are "old" products that you have seen in past monthly favorites. Anyways, lets get on with my favorites!
EYES:
◊ Lorac Mint Collection Eye & Cheek Palette
I love the shadows in this palette. Even though the mint shadow isn't the most pigmented shadow in the palette, I still love it! I just have to use a primer and another base then pat on the mint shadow to get it to show up on my eyes. I love wearing the mint shadow all over my lid and then using the matte brown in my crease and the shimmery brown (underneath the matte brown) in my outer corner. Then I would apply the first shadow as my brow bone highlight. Whenever I wear this eye look, I always get compliments. If you have this palette, you should definitely give this eye look a try. If you don't, you can now find this set at Nordstorm Rack for about half the price.
◊ Stila In The Moment Eye Shadow Palette
I bought this palette a few months ago and I am really liking it. I especially love the first three shadows because every time I use those three for an eye look, I always get compliments on my eyes. This palette is pretty great because it has your purples and neutral shades. I only wish that it had pinks as well instead of the black. I never use black shadows so I always hate it when a palette has one. I love wearing Impulse as an all over lid shade. Its the prettiest shade out of the whole palette and looks especially great on brown eyes.
◊ Coastal Scents 88 Eye Shadow Colors "Warm Palette"
I have really been loving this palette. I think I have probably been using it almost everyday. You will probably see this palette again in my September favorites as well. This palette is definitely great for those who love makeup and for those who are just starting in makeup. This palette has so many eye shadows with different finishes like mattes and shimmers. I love using this for creating matte eye looks since there are so many options to choose from. I have been thinking about getting the other 88 palettes, if you guys have any recommendations, let me know.
◊ Revlon Matte Eye Shadow "001 Vintage Lace"
I love this for my brow bone highlight. Its just the perfect shade and its matte, what more can you ask for! I think I bought this shade from the 99 Cents Store for only a dollar plus tax. I don't know if Revlon still sells this shade but I hope they do because I can see myself hitting pan on this shadow soon.
◊ Anastasia Brow Powder Duo "Dark Brown"
I can definitely see all the hype about this. I have been using it everyday since I bought it. I like to mix both the shades together for my perfect brow shade. I just use the little brush that came in the set and its perfect. It doesn't take me a long time to do my brows. I can make them skinny or more bold. Plus it lasts all day on my bows through the heat, which is perfect since I never have to worry about them melting off or smearing on me through the day. I definitely recommend this.
FACE:
◊ Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette
This palette has everything you need for your cheeks. It has a bronzer, blush, and a highlighter. The bronzer is the perfect shade for contouring, which I do everyday because I want my face to appear slimmer. The blush is a pretty pink and very pigmented. I need a light hand whenever I am using this. The same applies to the highlighter as well. The highlighter is definitely pigmented and shimmery. If you use a heavy hand with this, you will definitely look like a disco ball. If I was traveling, I would definitely bring this since it contains all the products that you would need for your cheeks.
◊ Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder "001 Transparent"
I bought this because I was getting shiny on my forehead and cheeks so I wanted something that would keep me matte all day. I heard a lot about this pressed powder, especially on YouTube so I decided to give it a try. I didn't know what shade to get so I decided to just buy Transparent. It doesn't keep me matte all day but it does keep me shine-free for a couple of hours, which is longer than my Revlon Nearly Naked pressed powder.
◊ CoverGirl Outlast 3 in 1 Foundation "825 Buff Beige"
I am not sure if I love love this but so far, I am liking it. I heard so much about this when it came out that I wanted to buy it but of course, I told myself to wait. From all the reviews that I have read and seen, I got the impression that this was going to be medium to full coverage foundation similar to the Revlon ColorStay foundation but its definitely not. I would call this a light to medium coverage foundation since I would always have to apply at least two to three layers to cover the redness on my cheeks and my acne scars. The only reason why I am including this in my August favorites is because it lasts a long time on my face. I will probably be doing a full review on this soon.
◊ Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara "Extreme Black"
I have so many back-ups of this mascara. I love using this with my other mascaras to make my lashes look longer. The only thing that I don't love about this is that the formula is very wet. If you sneeze after applying this, you will definitely get smudges. It has happened to me a couple of times. LOL Plus I would always have to wait for this mascara to dry before I curl my lashes, which is fine since I would just curl them after I dress. If you are looking for an inexpensive mascara, you should definitely give this a try.
So those are all my favorites for the last few months. LOL Hopefully I don't end up procrastinating again because I really love blogging. Its just hard to keep up with sometimes but I don't want to lose any of you so hopefully, I will be able to have a couple of posts per week. Let me know if you would like to see any reviews or swatches on any of these products featured in this post. I am probably going to be posting up a couple of reviews soon since I have so many that I am behind. Please let me know if you have tried any of these products before and what you think of them. I would love to hear your opinions!
