Review: Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen

Hi everyone! As you all know summer is right around the corner. The days will be hot and the sun will be blaring. It is important to wear sunscreen everyday, especially during those hot days when the sun could burn our skin. Everyone knows having sunburns isn't attractive especially when you want to wear shorts and tanks.

Since I live in California, the weather is always crazy. Some days its 100 degrees (like last week) and the next few days, its windy and cold. On the hot days, I like to go hiking and those are definitely the times where I need to wear sunscreen. I am so glad that BzzAgent gave me the chance to join a campaign to try and review some new products from Coppertone. I was sent one full size and two travel sizes of Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen Lotions and three travel sizes of the Coppertone Sunscreen Continuous Spray. I also received some coupons to give away with the travel sizes for my friends and family to try.

I haven't tried Coppertone products in a long time. I think I tried one years ago but that one was a bit thick for me so I am glad that I got the chance to try out the new ones. I definitely prefer the Coppertone CLEARLYSheer sunscreens because the formula is lightweight and moisturizing. My skin doesn't feel heavy with product but instead feels clean and fresh. Its absorbs right into the skin. I don't have to worry about this causing breakouts plus the scent is pretty nice too. I use this on everyone in my family and they all love it.

My little brother especially loves the sprat because he can just spray the sunscreen onto his skin and rub it in. Its great to wear on those hot days because the sunscreen spray has a cooling sensation when it comes into contact with your skin. Great to carry with you during the day when you need a cool down and protect your skin from those harmful sun rays. If you get hot during the day then you should definitely try the Coppertone Sunscreen Continuous Spray because it will give your skin a nice pick me up throughout the day.

If you are traditional with your sunscreen, I would recommend the Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen Lotion. It moisturizes your skin, doesn't clog your skin, and is fast absorbing. Its perfect for those sunny days! Plus if you apply too much, it doesn't leave a white cast or dried to a white powder finish on your face or body like other sunscreens do.

I recommend both types of sunscreens for the summer but of course everyone has their own preference whether it be in lotion form or spray form. Let me know which ones you guys decide and tried out. I would love to hear your opinions. Please comment below what sunscreens you have tried before and didn't like.

Disclaimer: I am a BzzAgent and received these free products, shown above and coupons to review and try out. This is not a sponsored post and all opinions are my honest thoughts.

Review (Plus Swatches): Wet N Wild ColoriCon Trio "Walking On Eggshells"

Hey everyone! Finally a review from me! Since I am in my blogging mood right now, I decided to do a review today. Hopefully I get to finish it and am able to post it up today. This review is going to be on the Wet N Wild ColorIcon Eyeshadow Trio in "Walking On Eggshells". It is definitely a gorgeous neutral trio. If you don't mind eye shadows with shimmery and frosty finishes, then I am sure that you would like this trio. Wet N Wild definitely makes great eye shadows and this is one of my favorites. I don't have much of their eye shadows but I am sure that one day, I would be able to get my hands on all of them. Let me know if you have any favorites from Wet N Wild and which ones you would like to see a review on. For me, I think this brand is great for those who are on a budget, or a makeup hoarder, or just someone who loves good quality, pigmented shadows. If you don't have this trio yet for some reason, you might want to know that these eyeshadows are all a dupe to some MAC eye shadows.

This trio has great neutrals for everyday eye looks. It comes with three shadows-hence trio. ;) I love how each shadow is labeled for its purpose, which is great for beginners but of course, you can use them anyway you want. I would generally use either the top or bottom shade as an all over lid shade and the crease either in the crease or as an outer corner shade. If you would like to see any eye looks using this trio, please let me know. I haven't posted any eye looks in while. My phone camera has gone crappy on me, which sucks because it used to take beautiful pictures.

The first shade in the trio is a gorgeous shimmery and frosty champagne. It is great for the brow bone and as an all over the lid shade. I heard that this is MAC Naked Lunch. If you want to see swatches of both shadows next to each other, I am sure that you can find them on Google. The second shade is great for the crease because its a satin brown. Although on my eyelids, it comes off as a coppery-gold because of my yellow undertone. This shade, I heard is a dupe for MAC Cork. I only own two MAC eye shadows and I rarely ever touch them because my sister gave them to me and they aren't shades that I would normally go for. For a person who rarely wears eye makeup, I don't know why she would pick out a green and a reddish copper shade.

As you can see from the swatches (below and above), these Wet N Wild eye shadows don't mess around. They are pigmented to the touch. If you are someone either starting to love makeup or someone with a budget but still wants good quality eye shadows, I would definitely recommend Wet N Wild eye shadows. I actually prefer their trios and their 8 pan palettes. They used to have 6 pan palettes but those got discontinued, which was shocking because they were popular too.

Like I said earlier, if you never tried these before, I highly suggest you go out and get yourself this trio and even try out their other eye shadow trios as well. To save you even more money, right now RiteAid is having BOGO FREE on all Wet N Wild cosmetics! The trios are probably around $1.99 to $2.99 each. I can't remember the exact price but with the sale, its even more inexpensive. I told myself not to buy anymore makeup until I sell some of the ones that I have but its hard not to want to buy more when stores have these rare makeup sale. Let me know if you guys end up going crazy for this sale and if you intend to buy anything. I would love to know! As always, thank you for reading!

Spotted: Maybelline By FaceStudio Master Bronze

Hey everyone! So many new products are coming out at the drugstore that I am getting excited to see everything in the stores. Some new products that I have seen are from Maybelline. They recently came out with some new bronzers for the upcoming summer. What makes these unique in the drugstore is that these are matte bronzers. Now if you love drugstore makeup as much as me, you know that matte drugstore bronzers are hard to find. Even harder to find are good matte bronzers. I haven’t tried these new bronzers from Maybelline but if you have, please leave a comment below letting everyone know what you think about these. These come in three different shades. I don’t know if these are limited edition or permanent but the three shades are 310 Weekend Bronze, 320 Vacation Bronze and 330 Paradise Bronze. I actually spotted this display at both my Walgreens and CVS stores. Depending on your region and stores, these bronzers will range from $8 to $9. Let me know if you have seen these bronzers and whether you are looking forward to trying out these new bronzers.

Products I Regret Buying

Hey everyone! I was going to do a April Favorites but since I have been suing the same products (meaning liking the same products featured in every other monthly favorites video), I thought I might as well change it up this month and do something different! If you haven't read the title yet, I decided to do a Products I Regret Buying post. This post will feature all (well most) of the items that I regret buy and wished I had returned to get my money back. Some of the items, I am sure that I wouldn't be able to get my money back regardless, like the Dollar Tree and/or Big Lots. Please feel free to watch my video and read as well. :)

Keep in mind that although these products didn't work at all for me doesn't mean that they are crappy products. I know that there are others out there that really like some of these products but they just didn't work for me. I am just posting these to warn you guys first before you buy them. These are just my opinions.

The first product that I am going to talk about is the Physicians Formula HealthyWear SPF50 Bronzer "Tan" which I bought at Big Lots. I remembered I had bought another shade first but found out it was already expired when I went home so I returned it and got another shade. If you do end up buying this, be careful because they do have expiration dates on them since they contain SPF. The expiration date is on the back of the compact. I didn't like this bronzer at all. When I first used it, there was no pigmentation at all. I found out that I had to scratch off the top layer to get any product because the top layer was hard to the touch. Once I took off the top layer, it had pigmentation to it. I was hoping to use this bronzer when I got tanned in the summer but no matter what, it just looked orange on my skin tone. If you watch my video, you can tell how orange it is. So be warned, if you have yellow undertones like me, this bronzer might look orange on you.

The second product is the Revlon PhotoReady Sculpting Blush Palette "Pink Rose" and when I bought this,  I was so excited to try it. I love products like these where they have everything you need in one palette. Plus the colors in this palette were gorgeous, especially the pink blush and highlighter. This palette was such a huge letdown. I don't know if the other shades in this line have the same pigmentation but I don't want to know. The only decent one in this palette is the highlighter shade, which has some pigmentation to it but the other two give off nothing. I swatched it in my video to show you guys as well.

Another product that let me down are these freaking wipes from the Dollar Tree. I can't find the brand name on these so I don't know what brand they are but if you see these are your Dollar Tree, do not get these! These are the Exfoliating Facial Wipes and they provide no exfoliation whatsoever. These are just regular makeup remover wipes but smaller in size and don't remove all of your makeup. You would probably need three of these wipes to get off all of your makeup.

The next products are these makeup brushes that I bought a long time ago when I first started falling in love with makeup. I am talking about the ELF Professional Bronzer Brush and the ELF Professional Foundation Brush. These brushes are only a dollar and you can buy them at Walmart, Target, or online from the ELF website. When I first started, I didn't know what brushes to buy so I just bought whatever I could get my hands on. I just don't like these types of foundation brushes. They just don't work out for me. Plus the bristles on the bronzer brush is not the softest material. When I use it, the bristles poke my face so much. I feel like I am torturing my face instead of making it beautiful whenever I use this brush. LOL

The next two products are foundations that didn't work for me at all. They are the Rimmel Clean Finish Foundation "Soft Beige" and the Maybelline FitMe Foundation "Medium Beige" which I bought at CVS and Walgreens. The Rimmel foundation is such a thick consistency. If you thought that Revlon ColorStay foundation is thick, once you tried this one, you would be thinking differently. The main reason why I didn't like this foundation was that it oxidizes and changes color once it dries on your face. It actually gets a bit darker. The Maybelline one is a runny consistency. It has light coverage which is not good for those with a couple of blemishes on their face.

The last few products that I am going to talk about are all eye products. Lets talk about the mascaras first like the Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara and the Almay One Coat Dial Up Mascara. Both mascaras are in black, in case you guys were curious. LOL Anyways, I didn't like either mascaras because they did nothing for my lashes. They didn't give them any volume or length. Completely nothing. Another product that did nothing for my eyes is the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil "Cottage Cheese" which I bought because my ULTA was sold out of Milk. Don't get me wrong, I like the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils but Cottage Cheese is not my favorite. It blends into nothing and it isn't a great base for my shadows. If your store is out of Milk and has Cottage Cheese, just wait for it to be back in stock. Haha. Last product is the Almay Liquid Liner "Brown" but it doesn't matter what color it is because the product just sucks in general, in my opinion. This liner just smears and isn't great for those with watery eyes. It does last a while but the fact that it smears easily is a big no no for me.

So that is all the products that I don't like, as of now. There are other products that I don't like but I don't have them anymore. Let me know if you have tried any of these products and whether they worked for you or not. I would love to know your opinions about them. I have to say that I am happy that I am finally posting on my blog. Clapping for myself. LOL Let me know what other posts you would like to see next or videos that you would like to see me film. I have been wanting to do a makeup collection and storage video but I am holding back on that because I want to wait until I get a few more subscribers as a reward. As always, thanks for reading!
