OOTD: May 24, 2013

Hey everyone! Its been such a long time since I last posted an OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) post on my blog. I am going to try to post more of these but its just hard because sometimes I forget until the moment I am done changing into my pajamas. LOL This was my outfit for yesterday! I am actually surprised that I am already posting it up since I just wore it yesterday. Usually it takes me a while to type and edit pictures but I am determined to post as much as I can. Anyways, I was running some errand yesterday and also went to go see a friend. I haven't seen her since she had her baby boy in the hospital and since I had some extra time today, I dropped by her house with some gifts. Since I was going to see her, I wanted to dress a bit nicer than usual and because I was running errands, I wanted to feel comfy. I decided to wear shorts since it was a bit sunny outside but paired it with some sweater tights underneath because it was windy too. I absolutely love this outfit and pairing tights with shorts because they are so comfy. Plus they keep you warm yet not to the point where you are going to be sweating.

WHAT I AM WEARING:
◊ Burgandy Top - H&M
◊ Black Shorts - Love Bug
◊ Sweater Tights - JcPenney
◊ Black Wedges - Target
◊ Bangles (These were a gift)
◊ Necklace - eBay

Sorry if the pictures are a bit blurry. My little brother took them and he had some troubles with my camera. These were the best that he could do. LOL I hope you guys liked my outfit!

QUESTIONS:
Do you love wearing tights paired with shorts?

Swatches: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush "Flush"

Hey everyone! I have been meaning to put up this swatches post for the longest time now but lets be honest, I just didn't feel that motivated to type it up since I wanted to finish up other posts first but now I am going to get this one done! I think its mainly because it is because this particular shade is sold out on the Tarte website but hopefully they will have it in stock soon. You can add your email to their list and once they stock this shade, they will notify you so thats a good thing.

I think this was my very first Tarte blush and this was the one that made me add more to my collection. If I could, I would wish to have all the shades in my collection. Plus it will definitely be fun to swatch them all here on my blog! Once you try one Tarte blush, you will definitely become addicted and want to try them all. For this post, I am going to show you guys swatches on the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush "Flush" and this is definitely a gorgeous color!

According to the Tarte website, these Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blushes are "a long-wearing, supremely soft blush infused with Amazonian clay harvested from the banks of the Amazon River and naturally baked by the sun. Product performance: This 12-hour blush universally benefits all skin types for a fade-free, flawless finish in shades ranging from soft to vivid and matte to shimmer to suit a wide variety of skin tones."

First off, let me just say how much I love the packaging! I love how the packaging of each blush has its own color similar to the actual product inside. It makes it so much easier to find what shade you are looking for, especially if you have a lot of blushes! Each full size blush also comes with a full mirror, which is the same size as the actual compact. Plus I also love how all the blushes have the same imprint on the actual product but it does go away after constant use.

Flush is such a gorgeous color! Tarte describes it as a "deep berry" but I think its more a berry with a pink undertone. If you love matte blushes, this might be up your alley. I know it might look a bit scary in the pan or when its swatch (I mean when I first opened the compact, I was a bit scared to wear this since I was afraid I might end up looking like a clown) but you can definitely sheer up the color.

QUESTIONS:
Do you own any Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blushes?
How do you feel about Flush?

Mini Sephora Haul (Feat. Soap & Glory Plus Samples)

Hey everyone! I just wanted to show you guys my mini Sephora haul. This haul was actually unintended. I was at the mall and happened to pass by a Sephora store. Of course, I had to check it out since I had some extra time left. I didn't want to buy anything makeup since I knew that I already have a bunch that I need to use or finish up first. While I was browsing through the store, I remembered that I had heard a bunch of good reviews on the Soap & Glory brand. I wanted to try their lotions but didn't want to buy the full size one so I went by the registers to look for a travel size. The employee there told me that they were all sold out but if I wanted to try another travel size item from the brand, I should try their shower gel. It was only $5 plus tax so I got it. It is a bit pricey for a small travel size since you could go to Target and pay $5 for a big bottle of body wash. I bought the Soap & Glory Creamy Moisture Shower Gel. I haven't tried it yet but hopefullyI will end up liking it. If you have tried it before, definitely let me know what you think of it!

I actually was surprised when I got two great samples. The cashier there was actually pretty nice. I think it was because I was the only person in line and the person ahead was taking such a long time making his purchase because he was buying for his girlfriend. He had so many questions for the cashier about what he bought. I didn't mind because I thought it was cute that he was buying all that stuff to surprise her for her birthday. Usually whenever I go, I always get the small packet size samples but this time, I got two makeup samples. I got one from BareMinerals and one from Make Up For Ever. Both the makeup samples are powders (but the BareMinerals one came with a PrimeTime primer sample too) and will definitely last me a while. I am definitely excited to try both of these out since they will be my first high-end powders from Sephora!

Q
UESTIONS:
Have you recently hauled at Sephora?
