Spotted: Revlon ColorStay ShadowLinks

Hey everyone! Yes! Another new display from Revlon! This display features the new Revlon ColorStay ShadowLinks, which allow you to mix and match shadows to customize your own palette. If this concept seems familiar, its similar to the ones by Sallys Girl sold exclusively at Sally's Beauty. These are interchangeable eye shadows, which you can slide together to create your own customizable palette. This collection comes 12 single shadows but I don't know if Revlon is going to add more to this line. I like the colors in the collection so far because they included some great neutral shades and ones for creating smokey eye looks.

Let me know if you have seen these new Revlon ColorStay ShadowLinks and if you would buy any. What do you guys think about the concept?

Spotted: Fantasy Makers Wicked Look Collection

Hey everyone! Can you guys believe that Halloween is this Thursday and then November will be here on Friday? The year is almost at its end and we will soon be moving into 2014. Whoa, isn't that crazy to think about? Anyways since Halloween is this Thursday, I knew that I had to post up all my Halloween spotted posts. I wasn't sure if I was going to delete them but then if I did, that would mean that I spent my time taking pictures and editing them for nothing. So I decided to just post them regardless. As long as I get them all posted before Halloween, I think that is fine. Ha! Anyways, I spotted this collection at my RiteAid store. So far, I have only seen this display there and at none of my other stores. There are 4 sets in this collection: Pixie Princess, Vampiress, Femme Fetale, and Wicked Queen. Each set contains a mini polish, a set of false lashes, an eyeshadow duo, and a mini lipstick. All the false lashes contain some kind of glitter or "bling" as you might want to call them.

As always, each set is inexpensive and priced at $4.99 each but I am sure that some stores are already pricing them at 50% off to get rid of them since they want them off the shelves before Halloween is over. Let me know if any of you guys bought any of these sets and if you already know what you are going to dress up as for Halloween! I am still deciding on what to be since I am getting a bit tired of my cat costume but we will see. Also, in case you guys didn't know, I have heard that some Dollar Trees have been selling last year sets of Fantasy Makers so if you missed out on last years, you can check out your Dollar Tree since they will only be a dollar! I don't know about you but I will checking mines out to get some. They even have the set with the stencils, which I posted before but from last year's collection. Let me know if you guys have any luck finding them!

Spotted: imPRESS Nail Designer Kit

Hey everyone! Here is another spotted post for you all. This time its from imPRESS nails featuring their Nail Designer Kits.I actually think these kits are a good idea because they come with everything you need to recreate the nail looks shown on the packaging or any nail looks that you want to come up with yourself. These comes with 24 nails and pre-cut nail dress strips. In this collection, there are four sets.

Keep in mind, these designer kits are limited edition so if you are interested in any of these sets, I highly suggest that you go before they sell out. If you love nail art and being creative, you might actually end up liking these since they give you so many options for different nail looks. Plus if you don't think you are the creative type, there are a couple of examples of nail looks on the packaging that you could try instead.

Spotted: CoverGirl Catching Fire Collection

Hey everyone! Who is excited for the second Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire? I can definitely say that I am and wish that it was already out in theaters so I can watch it right now. In case you guys didn't know, the movie comes out on November 22 and I am so excited! As much as I can't wait for all the movies in the series to come out, I will also be sad when they are done with the movies. If you guys haven't read the Hunger Games series, you should. Trust me, you will love it!

Anyways CoverGirl recently did a collection decided to Catching Fire. I think they did a collection last year for the Hunger Games movie but I can't remember. This collection features eyeshadow pencils, mascaras, lip glosses, and nail polishes.

I don't know know if these shades are new and for the collection only or if they are permanent shades. I haven't tried any of the products yet but let me know, if you have and what you think of them. I know that the flamed mascara has been out for a while now so if yu have tried it, please let me know.

Spotted: Fright Night Colored Hair Chalk

Hey everyone! If you guys have been wanting to try the colored hair chalk tend, this is definitely the chance for you to try it out without breaking your wallet. So many high end brands have come out with their versions of hair chalk and they were one of the first ones to. I have been curious about this trend but I didn't want to spend over $20 for each color. Recently, a couple of drugstore brands have come out with hair chalk, which is great because its more affordable at $4.99 each.

One brand that I recently spotted at RiteAid was Fright Night. I don't know if that is the actual brand name since it seems like a brand only meant for Halloween like Fantasy Makers. With these from Fright Night, you can "go gruesome or glamorous with different colored hair chalks." They had 6 different shades: blue, purple, black, lime green, pink, an orange. If I were to buy any, I would definitely want to try the pink, blue, and purple but not all at the same time. Haha! Let me know if you have tried colored hair chalk yet and which colors would you be interested in.

Swatches: Revlon Super Lustrous Shine Lipstick "820 Pink Cognito"

Hey everyone! I have been meaning to post swatches on this for a while now. I was actually thinking of purchasing another from the Shine line to swatch together but I didn't want to buy another lipstick just for swatching purposes so I am just going to have this lipstick alone. If you didn't know already, Revlon recently came out with a new finish of Super Lustrous lipsticks. Revlon claims that these Super Lustrous Shine lipsticks have "lightweight color [and] moisturizing shine." I really like how Revlon labels their finishes on their lipsticks because it makes it easier to figure out which one you want. I wish all drugstore brands would do that with their lipsticks.

I was really excited to try out Pink Cognito because I love pink lipsticks and the fact that it has a shine finish was interesting. I don't really like lipsticks with glitter or shimmer so I was a bit worried that the Shine line would contain them. The formula is actually pretty smooth and applies great on the lips. Although I love the formula, I was a bit disappointed in Pink Cognito. I thought it was going to be opaque and come out as the actual color that you would see in the tube but is actually quite sheer. You actually can't even see it on my lips, shown above. It looks like I have nothing on my lips. To get the color to even show up a bit on my lips, I would have to layer this lipstick on like crazy. You actually can't even tell if its on your lips so when it wears off, I guess that is a good thing since nobody would notice. If you are looking for an opaque, I would definitely not recommend this shade. If you are someone who wants a lipstick that pretty much acts like a lip balm, then you might like Pink Cognito. Let me know what you think!

QUESTIONS:
Have you ever tried any Super Lustrous Shine lipsticks?
Would you buy Pink Cognito?

Spotted: Maybelline Fall 2013 On The Runway Nail Polishes

Hey everyone! Here is another display from the Maybelline On The Runway collection. My last post showed the lip glosses in the collection but this time, this post will feature their nail polishes. If you love buying fall shades, this collection would definitely be for you.

All the shades look pretty to wear for the fall and winter. There is even a gorgeous blue-teal (NOTE: I am not good at describing colors). The model is actually wearing it on her nails on the display. I really like that shade and was almost going to buy it but I wanted to look up swatches first to see how opaque it will be after the first coat. If you know, please comment below.

Spotted: Maybelline Fall 2013 On The Runway Lip Glosses

Hey everyone! I have so many spotted posts that I need to write up to post. Hopefully I will be able to get all of them up soon, especially before they start being old news. LOL If you have any questions, most of these new displays were found at my local RiteAid store. In my area, the only place quick with new displays is RiteAid, which can be both a bad and a good thing. I say good because if there is a product that I want and can't wait to get my hands on. The bad thing is that new displays get moved fast so you would have to go there constantly because new displays don't always stay there long.

Anyways, one new display that I spotted was from Maybelline. It is included in their Fall 2013 On The Runway collection. This display features their lipglosses. I personally haven't tried any of these lip glosses before but I have heard great reviews on them. I do have to admit that there are some gorgeous shades in this collection, especially for the fall and some that I can see if I had would wear all year around. Definitely let me know what you guys think.

QUESTION:
Have you seen this collection yet?

Have you ever tried these Maybelline lipglosses?

Swatches: MAC Matte Lipstick "Taupe"

Hey everyone! My sister bought another MAC lipstick so I thought I might as well borrow it to swatch for you guys. Shhh, just don't tell her that. LOL Seriously, don't tell her. Haha! Anyways, I have really been into mattes lately so I was excited to try this out since I don't have much experience with MAC lipsticks, much less MAC products in general. I only have one MAC lipstick in my collection so I was definitely excited to get the chance to try out more. I know I could just buy more but the price is what stops me since I could get 2-3 drugstore lipsticks for the price of 1 MAC lipstick. Let me know if you are the same as well.

Usually matte lipsticks are drying on the lips but this one isn't. It actually feels quite comfortable on the lips. I would just have to apply a lip balm before to condition my lips. I actually really like this shade because its a my lips but better shade. I definitely think this is a great everyday lip color. You can wear this with dramatic looks or for the work.

According to MAC, Taupe is a "muted reddish taupe brown." I don't ever gravitate toward brownish lipsticks and this definitely made me want to stay away from it staring at it in the tube but once you put it on, its very natural. Taupe is definitely a gorgeous natural shade. If the price of MAC lipsticks didn't bother me, I would buy this shade. Let me know what you think!

QUESTIONS:
Do you own any MAC lipsticks?
What do you think of Taupe?

Spotted: The Ministry Of Beauty Dramatica Nails

Hey everyone! Here is an interesting new display that I found at my RiteAid store. Its from a brand that I never heard of before or seen but I thought that the packaging was definitely eye catching. Definitely let me know if you have ever heard of this brand before. It is called The Ministry of Beauty and this collection is called Dramatica Nails.

Each set is priced at $12 plus tax. I never tried these nails before so I don't know about the quality but I love how each set looks. They are all crazy, dramatic nail looks. I think these are great for those who aren't good at doing nail art.If you have seen those Japanese nail art magazines, these nails designs sort of remind me of those where each nail is pretty much a different style. Plus I really like how the packaging is set up because there is a part in the side where you can slide your fingers in to see how the nails would look on your nails.

If you haven't tried these before but are interested in a set or two, you better hurry since the next day that I went to RiteAid, there was only a couple left. If you have tried these before, please let me know how you feel about these.

QUESTIONS:
Have you tried The Ministry of Beauty nails before?
How do you feel about these nail designs?
